Does anyone think that giving Mika a show on Peacock is a way of easing her off Morning Joe? I can't imagine that she would or could do both. I hadn't realized Joe had been off for so long since I don't watch every day. Perhaps it is contract renewal time, he is protesting, or, he and Mika are having issues with each other.

If this morning's rant was any indication, she is woefully unprepared to have her own platform. (I know, this is not a surprise.) There was no one to reel her in as she left any semblance of fair reporting in the dust. Usually Joe or Jon interjects to bring the discussion back on track. I agree with her opinion but she was just so biased that it was uncomfortable. She was doing exactly what she was railing against cable news for doing. As I write this at 6:50 am she is trying to read the teleprompter and repeating some phrases she has already read.

An interesting proposition. Is someone who is personable also someone who is selfish, delights in making others uncomfortable, (or, is unaware that she is doing so), and needs to be the center of attention? I know that I watch the show because I can't quite believe how she acts with her friends, coworkers, animals, as well as in other social situations. Judging by replies to her sm posts as well as other forums the majority of viewers (who are what is keeping the show on the air) are either like me and enjoy noting her hypocrisy and reversals of opinion, and those who relate to her and would like to be her. If they can't be her they can imagine themselves to be close to her by supporting her, defending her, and buying the products that she shills. I would bet money that there are very few people who actually like her and think that she is an inspiration.

I think the family has had a long history of having disordered relationships with food. Glen has not only focused on Whitney's weight and has bribed her to lose weight in the past but also he would not eat all day and then compensate at night. (Disclosure - I frequently fast and am also a fan of intermittent fasting.) So, if the kids grew up without experiencing, or, being aware of normal nutrition it makes sense that they never learned how to eat appropriately. Not that knowledge is enough. I have a cousin who has a master's degree in Home Economics and she is Whitney's size. (Her joints have given out and she is almost immobile at this point.)

Somewhere along the line Babs weighed one hundred pounds more. She started managing her weight by restricting most meals to canned soup. Hunter has put on some weight recently as well.

Did she really say that she befriended Heather after her divorce? That's odd since Twit worked at the same radio station as Heather's husband. Doubting that she was maintaining boundaries between her work life and her personal life.

She recently posted a video that Glen had taken when she was quite young. She must have thought that it was cute but it really didn't reflect well on either of them. She was sitting at a table shovelling spoonfuls of ice cream into her mouth. he was videotaping and talking to her. At first she was more interested in eating the ice cream than answering him. Then, he repeatedly called her name and told her that he loved her. Eventually she took a break from eating and said she loved him.

Well, that is completely ridiculous. It is gaping around the arms when it is worn with the pleats to the back. I wonder if the designer planned it to be worn with the pleats to be on the front or back depending upon the size of the wearer's front section or back section. Perhaps pleats to the smaller area so they aren't stretched out as we see in the photo.

Colleenna, thanks for the update. There have been so many things she has posted recently where her face looks naturally thinner but not as a result of digital manipulation that I began to wonder. I wonder what it took for her to start dressing more appropriately.

Here's my bizarre theory. What if she has had wls and is holding the dress in a way so that she looks maximum size. If she was losing weight it would be more obvious if she was wearing her usual sports bra ensemble.

Computers and phones have cameras that face the user which can be hacked. (I have mine covered for that very reason. I like my privacy and like to choose who I share selfies with.) If the Feds became aware that Josh was viewing CP I am fairly certain they could have gained access to the cameras and gotten proof positive (along with time stamps) that he was the one who was downloading or viewing. Of course, Josh could have done as I did but it would have been obvious in his case that he was hiding something.

I think the whole obedience vs. personal responsibility thing is key. (On a re-run of Bringing Up Bates I saw it in action. One of the littlest wasn't behaving and Gil said something about having just learned a cool "training tool". He made his son clap on command. It seemed so random and not at all related to the infraction. As a youngster I was in the habit of slamming the door rather than closing it using the door handle. When being reminded didn't seem to stick I had to close it gently 100 times.) With the fundies the locus of control is outside themselves so there is something to resist as well as defy when given the chance. When Josh had the FRC job it must have been his dream. It was a high profile job away from the TTH with a good salary and comfortable life style. The only problem was that he couldn't control himself because he never learned how to. Since Tori's first priority is herself she doesn't read the room very well. What's with the new space for BSB? They just built the little warehouse/workspace at Zach and Whitney's and now they are planning a move to an unfinished storefront where they will have a monthly rent. Did I miss the part where the landlord says he will pay for sheet rock and labor? Is this another unpaid chore for Chad? They want to have walk in customers at some point but this space is so far from being ready for the public. Has any of them considered how much fixtures will cost to make it presentable. Oh no. Kelly is putting the pressure on poor Travis about "the next step". That woman is shameless. Note: I thought I had posted this when I wrote it. I just wanted to add my agreement to a few others who actually were successful in sharing their thoughts. I still wonder who is paying for finishing that space for a warehouse much less for walk ins. Renos are one thing this is finishing the construction.

It's been a while since I've watched this show. I had never quite understood the snark on Kelly Jo because compared to J'chelle she seemed to know and care about her offspring. But now I see that she does nothing but talk - which includes pressuring future sons in law to propose. Speaking of her voice, now I find it to be terribly grating. I can't stand the exaggerated drawling enunciation - perhaps because she offers so few ideas and relies on the same limited number of adjectives to express herself. I hated it when she leaned on Michael - for medical advice of all things. That way, if she does whatever Michael advises and it doesn't go well, she won't have to take personal responsibility for the decision. Yes, Michael completed nursing school but she isn't even officially a nurse yet. I doubt if her cousework included selecting the best treatment options for GERD. And yes, Kelly, you do have another, non surgical option which you could try, you even mentioned it yourself...lose weight. Considering the minimal work the woman does (other than organizing others to do things which she could just as easily be doing) the only thing she apparently has done with her life is bearing her baker's dozen and a half of children.

I don't even watch The Bachelor but is this a surprise? I seem to recall there had been gossip about him when he was on his season so I came here to see what fans of the show were saying. I honestly can't remember where I got the idea that he may have been uninterested in finding a wife.

Apparently she found another income stream. She posted a insta story a few days ago that is an advertisement for Shimano bicycle components. She is shown riding her bike along with a few other larger women on dirt paths, through mud puddles etc. The camera angles and cuts made her look like a fierce athlete. That's nbd, what I found amazing was that she wasn't braying and screaming at all.

To be honest, I don't often follow Ryan on social media but yesterday he posted a video which is probably gone now. He showed what a dick he can be irl. His girlfriend is pregnant and every morning for several days he has prodded her awake while capturing it. He tells her she has to get up and do the household chore which is usually his responsibility e.g. feed the dog, do his dishes, take out the trash. We know this because he narrates it and then he POSTS it! It explains why Ashley who seems well grounded and reasonable confronted him on being a jerk. lm
