  1. Made it about half way through. The first part was an infomercial about one of the sex toys she has "on rotation". Then there was the usual blather about having confidence in one's self as well as the number of years she has been using sex toys. She did say something about never having had a man or woman leave the bedroom when they saw her naked. Oh, yeah, she has had "so many questions" that this is due to be a four or five part series.
  2. Not that I am forgiving you for inducing me to rewatch that pathetic promo but...your researcher is correct. She obviously is "acting" and there must have been multiple takes judging from the number of short segments.
  3. I think she is stressed because Joe is no longer enthralled by her. She is probably aware that when a mistress becomes a wife, she creates a vacancy for the job.
  4. I can't believe that Mika has never heard the word "ridiculous" in conversation. How could she mangle that particular pronunciation? While I'm at it I am going to snark on her referring to "the pauls" and "Caulby College".
  5. She must have been taking acting lessons. Someone told her not to stick out her lower lip as she fakes crying. (I can't unsee her doing that when she hugged her Mom after Mr. Pigglesworth died.)
  6. You said it ☺️ But at least he seems to be acting like a Dad. From her Insta it looks like they may have filmed recently. Hard to believe she would stay at accommodations with the pool and hot tub on her own. I think that production probably rented the venue thus enabling her to swim naked. And, more importantly, BE FILMED doing it.
  7. Shallow I know, but Daniel Gil's hair bugs me. Too much on his head, too sparse on his chin. I could let the long curls stay if he just shaved his face. Now that I ponder it, has he ever tied it back in some way?
  8. That really bugs me too. George W. Bush was also a multiple offender. My former husband earned his Ph.D. on people's anxiety about nuclear war on the advice of his advisor who also had studied it. I still cannot believe that the professor himself mispronounced it. When GWB was in office there were lots of articles about why people choose to say nucular, one of which is that it is more folksy and makes it less threatening. Since Kasie Hunt is going to be the lead in to Joe and Mika I was wondering if a weekday show at a god-awful hour is higher profile than a weekend show that is close to prime time. Does anyone have any insight on this? Yasmin is leaving her early morning stint to weekends. So, who was "promoted"? There has been a lot of shuffling recently which I don't understand. Ali Velshi went from a weekday stint to weekends in the new schedule.
  9. Thanks for all the answers about the skin to skin contact. I was being snarky and referring to the picture where she is fully swaddled and he is holding the bottle. Before we went to pick up our puppy we sent one of my husband's unwashed t-shirts for the pup to sleep with. I should have sent one of mine as well because he immediately became attached to my husband.
  10. He has several photos on his Instagram. A few of him holding his daughter, Aurora, not sure why he is bare chested. Is that a thing that father's do these days? She is a cute baby, looks healthy and doesn't appear to be in the NICU. Whitney really needed to do something to offset the attention the recent birth will garner. I can see her proclaiming that she doesn't want or need a man to take the focus off the broken engagement.
  11. I wonder if her recent posts were because she was aware that Chase's gf had gone into labor. The baby was just born and from what people who have seen the photos he posted have said is that she doesn't appear to be premature in the least. So, closer to August than October.
  12. Definitely the Covid 50. But wasn't Pride in June? People have commented on her absence from sm lately. It would make the results even more dramatic. (I know it is far fetched but it would be a lock for more seasons.)
  13. I an aware that she claims that she is healthy and loves her body as it is but I've thought of a plot point. During the filming hiatus she might have made a little visit to Dr. Now. In the spring she will emerge with a whole new lewk. I know it has been suggested before, but the non-engagement, weak plot lines and lack of recent pictures on sm could point toward it. (Bathtub photo is from second trip to Paris. Her comments allude to faking a smile about an announcement. It bolsters my long held opinion that she found out about the girlfriend before the trip to Paris.)
  14. One of my dogs ate the corncobs after we had eaten corn on the cob - not because we gave them to her but because she found them in the trash. Yeah, whole other problem there. Another dog lived to a grand 19 1/2 years and LOVED carrots. When we were preparing them for ourselves, the sound of the vegetable parer had him standing at our knees, looking up, and salivating because he thought it was a treat for him. We had a grape arbor in which we would have pre-dinner wine and cheese. Crazy little dog would pick grapes off the vine and eat them one by one. (Later the veterinarian told us that grapes were not good for dogs.)
  15. ETA: That's what she wrote, I'm not making fun of her pronunciation.
  16. I haven't seen it but...commercial pizza oven? Don't laugh, one of my childhood friends had a house in the Cotswolds with that very appliance.
  17. And who can forget her mastery of the french language? Walla!
  18. Same with me as well. I wasn't bullied or picked on but it was a small town and those that stayed behind seem to have very small universes. I feel sorry for the head cheerleader, captain of the football team, and the rest who considered themselves as being popular who settled down and never left. On the other hand, I have travelled widely, live in a 250+ old house on many acres in New England and my life is full of adventure: camping, hiking, backpacking, rappelling, kayaking etc. If I had remained in the town in which I spent my first 21 years my life would have been much more staid.
  19. That's what I thought when he was absent on week #2, wearing her shroud and with obvious bags under her eyes. Reading the op ed aloud last week threw me off a little but I could have seen this scenario a few weeks ago: Joe: Stop clucking your tongue when I banter on about baseball. Meeks: It's boring and juvenile. Joe: OK, you think you can do better? Do the show on your own. Meeks: Fine, stay away. I'll do just fine without you (little voice in her head: "I hope so anyway.")
  20. Meeks is so awkward when she doesn't have a question for a guest and abruptly calls on one of the panel e.g. "Willie, jump in" Since they always have a pertinent question I have been wondering if they have a way of indicating that they want to ask a question or, if they know they might be called on at any moment so have something formulated in their mind. If it is the latter, it just shows the difference in abilities between them and the female host of the program.
  21. From the looks of Mika this morning there may be trouble in the Scarborough relationship. She looks depressed and has bags under her eyes. The black outfit may signal something is up.
  22. I miss her as well. She seems to be in good health and is posting elsewhere.
  23. Similar to a photo on Ryan's (?) instagram when she first obtained tpd. She was holding it in her lap as if it were a child and it didn't look happy at all.
  24. Teleprompters at MSNBC: why can't words that someone might stumble over be written phonetically? It's not just Meeks who has been having a problem. Andrea Mitchell is two for two. Yesterday it was not being aware of how to pronounce Ghislane Maxwell and today it was Mackinac Isalnd. (Gizlane and Mackinack). I mean, they may have out of the ordinary pronunciations but surely, she had heard them in conversation?
