  1. Power Renewed for 2 more seasons
  2. Why couldn't they just let the show die? And didn't Nigel say he wouldn't be back as a judge? The American Idol Jr. was a flop but with shows like Little Big Shots doing well, who knows...I definitely don't agree with them dancing with all-stars, even if they are 19 or 20; depending on the dance that'll be weird, creepy, or inappropriate. As for Maddie...whatever, I highly doubt I'll be watching anyway.
  3. That episode was pure craziness, I loved all of Annalise's scenes. Twitter blew up after they showed Annalise running away from Rose. Annalise is making more sense as a character now after these past few episodes. I'm glad we'll find out what happened to her baby next week, I can't take this suspense. I still want to know why Frank killed Lila and I'm not happy Laurel has given him no chance to explain. They've had the same argument like three times, let the man talk already bad quit whining about "poor Wes"!
  4. So disappointed in what this show has become. Where is my case of the week? Who cares about Abby/Fitz, they've been bantering for three episodes now. I hate Elizabeth North and now I hate David. Jake has been useless this whole season. Charlie & Tom...really? This is just so bad and there are too many characters and subplots I can't see how they make lemonade out of this mess.
  5. I saw the ratings this morning and I was shocked. I imagine ABC will try to spin it and talk about Live +3 numbers but this is not a good sign. It also wasn't a good sign when Scandal started tying Grey's in the ratings when it was beating it by quite a bit last year. Will be interesting to see if this continues if they feel the need to start with ratings stunts (i.e. character dying, bringing in big name actor/actress).
  6. WOW that was bad. Not sure I want to subject myself to that and I didn't hate Allegiant like most people but I don't remember anything from that trailer.
  7. I was thinking last night, why stay at Sheldon's when he's playing musical instruments, Go Home! The split apartment thing really is silly and I agree with Jobena, at least get a new bed.
  8. Nevermind. Didn't realize there was an awards thread.
  9. She did drug Courtney Love's character, I think that was calculating. I don't think she's a sociopath but that's apparently the direction they are taking her, wearing wigs and stalkish behavior, it's too bad, they've really destroyed a great character. Maybe someone else pushed Rhonda but that would require more imagination than Lee Daniels & crew have shown thus far.
  10. That's an interesting theory, I didn't know they were dating in real life. I hate what they have done with her character. I was looking forward to her and Cookie working together but they abandoned ship on that real quick. It does seem like Grace is getting punished but Daniels probably thinks he's giving her great material.
  11. Seemed fake/scripted to me, too. And unnecessary since Joe provided quite enough fireworks on his own. I don't understand why anyone would want to be franchisee, they don't seem to have their stuff together with and I don't see anything special about their burgers. I definitely do not think this episode was a ringing endorsement for potential franchisees either but Marcus said they'd had 300 applicants... The plain burger for $5 was hilarious, they really had no clue about food costs. I loved it when Marcus got out a scale and started weighing tomatoes and onions.
  12. Wow. Good stuff. Didn't think it was possible for me to dislike Noah anymore and this episode happens and he sucks even more. He's doing drugs now, unbelievable. He left Whitney at the party, Really?! Poor Allison. I actually feel bad for her in this episode. Don't blame her for leaving Noah's ass in the waiting room. Dr. Who-dude was hilarious. I'm going to go with jerk that plays nice. His whole line about the heart is a muscle was classic. At least Helen got some. And Cole...Allison doesn't deserve him but I hope he figures out that's his baby. Was that the look he threw Allison's way at the courthouse. Hmm. Totally knew he was going to burn the house down. Heartbreaking scene.
  13. I'm not sure where the show goes from here either. Too much blood on everyone's hands and it is way too messy. I don't think it was necessary to leak the documents and have Asher's father commit suicide or Sinclair show up at Nate's precinct with video of him changing Philip's record. I feel like there is nowhere for this show or these characters to go.
  14. Thanks to everyone who posted Nate pics. Man is a TALL drink of water. I have to admit I don't understand the about face he did in this episode. I get the DA has made his life hell, that's fair. But he wanted nothing to do with Annalise two episodes ago. Agenda? Just a little strange... My guess as to who shot Annalise is 1. Phillip 2. Katherine 3. DA, and I'm just as interested as to how they all get over to the mansion. I am so ready for next week!
  15. How did Saul not know he had a tail? They weren't exactly being subtle. Saul just seems way off his game this season but maybe after tonight's episode he will get his mojo back. Loved the Otto meeting/exchange. I actually really like Otto now, he's been so good to Carrie. I also liked the Dar-Saul showdown, lots of testosterone, good stuff. I was surprised Dar brought up Saul & Allison's relationship in front of other people. Is their relationship not on the DL? Or Dar was just throwing their biz out there cause he was pissed. I would expect the director (presumably he is) to be more composed.
  16. The only time I like Alison is when she's with Cole so I wouldn't mind the baby being his, although I do think he deserves better. Noah, I cannot stand. Didn't like the tree sex scene, I never think Alison & Noah's scenes are hot although I'm sure that scene was meant to be uncomfortable and repugnant, which it was. So he runs over his lover in his book. Makes perfect sense why they would want to change the venue, although his book ending would be admissible anyway I would think. Of course Oscar wants 100k, I expected that. Was not expecting Helen to offer to put up the house for her ex husband's defense. That's nuts. I get her dad not wanting to finance Noah's defense but that's a lot for Helen to risk to keep her baby daddy out of jail, don't see Alison doing that.
  17. I hated this episode for three reasons: 1) Crazy Carrie - If she didn't have access to her meds and went nuts that would be one thing but for her to CHOOSE to go off her meds after seemingly doing so well makes no sense. I didn't expect her to stay sober but it's still too bad 2)Saul & Allison - This felt like a hasty decision to me. I can't believe they had that in mind when they wrote these two characters scenes in the first episode. I realize this season is definitely a dark side of Saul, but this seems completely out of character. Where is Mira?! 3)Jonas - He sucks. First, he actually agrees with Carrie's plan to stay off her meds. Ridiculous. Secondly, he flips out because of all the "blood on her hands" after saying he did her background check. I get it...he doesn't probably understand bipolar disorder and maybe seeing all the pictures it hit home a little, but still...be a grown up. And I can't believe he just left her at the house without even an attempt to look for her, someone could have taken after all, they were hiding out. I did enjoy the pissing contest with Otto and Saul as well as his exchange with the US ambassador. Here's to hoping Quinn and Carrie team up next week.
  18. Finally there's a new member of OPA! It made no sense to me last season that they lost two people and they didn't add a single person. Marcus is a much needed addition. I liked his contribution. I agree that Huck should never be on TV. Dog whistle politics, is that a made up term? Never heard of it before but I liked it. I liked Jake's character up through the season 4 finale. He no longer serves a purpose at this point. It was cute when he showed up in episode 2, but his purpose can't be Liv's new best friend. He can't serve a purpose at OPA because Huck and Quinn basically do the same thing. I think they would have been better off letting him die after he got stabbed. This crap with him now is ridiculous and unless it is going to have something to do with a future (good) plot, it is a complete waste, IMO. So Nellie/Cyrus last 1.5 episodes. That sucks. I guess eventually he'll end up back with his true-love Fitz but I like Cyrus I need him to have a job. He speech was horrid, I can't believe he went there with the dead son. I'm glad Mellie is starting to finally get it. Roast Fitz over the coals girlfriend! I don't want to like Olitz but dammit if they don't draw me in...
  19. I thought Raj and Emily broke up last season?
  20. Best line: "My English is better than your Arabic" Were we supposed to understand what was written on Quinn's paper? How does everyone know Carrie is ex-CIA? Fallout from Islamabad? I don't get it. Glad to see Carrie's instincts are still there while she is taking her meds. Nine months sober and going to church, who is this Carrie Mathison? All in all, decent episode with some tense moments. Ready for things to start progressing more next week. Thought it was funny the CIA guy thought her and Saul were cooking up a plan to get her in the Foundation. I also liked that Allison showed some backbone and didn't just pack up and leave. I don't expect Dar to sacrifice his boy though. What is Dar's position now, doesnanyone know? I did notice F. Murray Abraham in the opening credits so he's a regular now.
  21. I love the differences in each side no matter whose memory it is. No way Allison was that nice to Cole and no way Cole was that mean to Allison. It's got to be somewhere in the middle. Details like the bike and fixing the bathroom are interesting because I figured landlady would mention seeing Cole at the house at some point later and that cause tension with Noah. Whereas if her bike was there, you would think Noah would ask how it got there. As for the future (or present, really), I took away that Noah's car did in fact hit Scotty, it is just a matter of whether or not he was driving it. Someone else was driving it= setup, Allison was driving it=coverup, or Noah was driving=accident. The short clip we got of the car approaching Scotty definitely had screeching brakes. If it's murder, why slow down? I definitely don't think it will be Cole, that's a deliberate red herring. I hope we get another person or two thrown into the suspect pool because I don't really want it to be Noah or Allison either, too easy. I'd love for it to be Helen or the daughter.
  22. Straight from Tamia's Instagram: "There's always 2 sides to every story . You heard their side (which was second hand information). Now here is our side which is 1st hand information . Now you decide!!! Facts: 1. I'm not going to even speak on her husband because he wasn't around to see any of the incidents or fights happen. By all means protect your wife, but speak on things you know and not here say. His accusations and so called (FACTS) are NULL AND VOID‼️ And the answer to your question (why didn't I leave the team if it was so bad?) because I love to dance and we were all supposed to be family. And in fact I don't get paid a dime to be on the show! 2. First fight the coach knew there were a group of women and their daughters outside the Dollhouse in a huddle because she just had a verbal altercation with them. The coach could have prevented the altercation but she was scared of the same people because she was in the middle of the drama herself. Instead of telling these group of women to leave the premises she folded under pressure because she just kicked 2 of the dance members off ; therefore she just let them linger around. When my sister pulled up, they immediately started talking noise to my sister and her 2friends. In the midst of words being exchange all 8 females including parents walked up on my sister and tried to jump her . With 8 people trying to jump my sister all she could've done was protect herself and fight back . Why in gods name would my sister walk up to 8 females by herself ? The fight happened by my sisters car so that lets you know that they walked up on her. After the fight , she gave me the option to either stay inside the factory or go outside to see about my family. Which one option would you have taken ? 3. As far as the gun situation, no one had one. Only 1 person claimed they saw a gun and the coach just ran with that , instead of listening to our side of the story. When this situation happened, she seized the opportunity to demote me!! 4. A particular girl that's 18 trespassed and came to where I live. My mom asked her why she wanted to fight me. She disrespected my mom and called me out my name, but I was on my way to practice and I didn't have time for the drama. Later that the same girl came to the Dollhouse and caught me off guard and tried to fight my mom and I and she brought two other girls with her. I had no control of her coming to the Dollhouse nor was I aware that she was coming up there. I didn't have control over neither fight , but the 1st one could have been avoided if proper actions were taken. The coach nor her husband were outside for either fight. 5. The team voted for me as their captain, so if I brought so much negativity to the Dollhouse and the team , why was I picked as captain ? After all this happened , why did they vote for me to come back? 6. Why haven't the coach hired any security for the building ? The only time the Dollhouse has security is when the cameras are there. Without having security , she leaves her girls vulnerable to any outside fans or enemy's including herself." It may be a little hard to understand without the tweets she was responding to, but I think you can get the idea.
  23. I'm glad Barbara told Mikky Bey to nix the crying, I realize everyone may not feel that way but there are plenty ways to show passion with tearing up. If someone has died, it's permissible but as a way of showing how committed they are, I agree with Barbara it gives the impression of being too emotional. The tuxedo guys got eaten alive, I can only imagine what that must've been like for an hour or longer. They guys kept saying "give us two minutes", as if that would've made a difference. They didn't seem very well prepared, perhaps they should've brought a tech person with them or in place of one of them. We looked at the loliware website because we liked the idea but they were too expensive. The shark tank special was $14.99 for four cups, cherry flavor only or $49.99 for sixteen cups, four of each flavor. I didn't want to try them that bad.
  24. First three seasons are on Hulu! Having so much fun watching them.
