Adding an additional thought. It seemed like the they didn't know which direction to go. They seemed unsure of themselves. -

These things cost money. And they take time too. They're not gonna spend money when it is a "clear suicide." This did not surprise me at all. -
S02.E04: Here's Looking at You

So while listening to the companion podcast I had a thought. Assume Lucy was near Charles’ apartment on 14. She hears screaming and we see the man in hidden passages. What if the woman screaming was Nina? And the man was Howard? He walked back through Charles’ apartment, and took the elevator down to 12 to then kill Bunny. Or maybe He started in Bunny’s and moved up to 14. Maybe he walked into Nina’s apartment by mistake, thinking it was Charles’. -

Didn’t they take it from Amy Schumer’s apartment when it was shown to be fake? Or am I making that up in my head? -

Thinking about these passages are making my head hurt. Where was Lucy? By Charles’ apartment? Them how did she hear the screaming? By Bunny/Mabel’s apartments? Why did she climb down 2 floors? Are we really to believe that Oliver climbed down 8 floors to Teddy’s apartment on 6? And then back up? (Charles is on 14, right?) Is Nina also on 14? Im gonna have to rewatch to gather and organize my thoughts. -
Only Speculation Without Spoilers In the Thread

It looked to me like they were having trouble walking normally. I wonder if they were large boots on small feet? -
I think the point is that Issac doing the procedure gives EVERYONE plausible deniability, including the Moclans. Ed and Kelly and the rest of the Union can say they weren’t involved. They were e joying a lovely concert being put on by Bortus. Sorry, our bad. And the Moclans can save face by blaming Issac for gaining against their wishes, but stay in the Union by accepting that Ed and Kelly er al were all at a lovely concert and totally had no idea what was going on, on their ship. It’s a fiction that everyone can live with. While I despise Klyden, there were times I empathized with him. I think he truly loves Topa, and wants what’s best for her. And the pain that he has suffered is blinding him to the pain she is currently suffering. I hope someday he sees the light and begs for forgiveness. I would not be surprised if it was not forthcoming though. But it’s his own damn fault. He made his bed, he’ll have to lie in it.

Someone could probably explain it better, but the FA Cup is a tournament amongst the several English teams, among the different tiers. It is separate from regular season. It is rare for a Championship League team (Tier 2) to make it that far from what I gather. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FA_Cup I get that this is a divisive episode for some, but it is one of my favorites. I love the bits with the 3 barflies whose names I forget.

That would be cheating and easy to verify since they probably monitor the outside of the ship 24/7 365 I think it’s supposed to be hard. If it was easy, everybody would win the game. It looked like more of a scavenger hunt type thing, not BINGO. Unless BINGO means something else in the 23rd Century. I think my favorite part of that whole thing was the ensign not wanting to work with Chief Kyle because “he’s so mean”. Now I want more Kyle back story. I enjoyed the “Hijinks” but maybe next time throw in a cunning plan or crazy caper.

Looked before I went to bed, after watching RotS, and there it was. Both episodes were up and streaming. So I watched the first one. I’ll have to sleep on it, but overall, I liked it. For some reason, it never occurred to me that Ben would have a job. And I loved the flashes of his old sense oh humor with the Jawa. And the pain on his face when he turned away the Jedi was heartbreaking.

I think the reason Buck was unhappy was that Taylor was using info she got from them, that they should not have had, like his personnel photo. This was before the LAFD even had the opportunity to comment. So really, I think it was the speed that is concerning. Obviously this would be a big news story, but she was there when he was arrested. Some may start asking how she got there so fast, and look at Buck and his friends (Who also happen to be his latest victims).

I think “The Cage” already happened. Didn’t Discovery go to Talos IV? Overall I enjoyed it, but I’m an easy mark for anything Star Trek. I will be fine though, if Discovery and Michael are never mentioned again in this series. All in all can’t wait until next week

Would I Lie To You? (US) - General Discussion
ajsnaves replied to peachmangosteen's topic in Would I Lie To You? (US)
I think Richard Kind would fill that role nicely. He seems like he’s led an interesting life, and I have no trouble believing any weird thing could happen to him. -
I would watch an entire series of “Hen and Karen PI”. They solve crime Murder She Wrote style.

"Fully develop" are the operative words in that . . . theory. At that age they understand the basic difference between right and wrong. I'm tired of excusing young people from bad behavior because of their under developed brains Never underestimate the stupidity of a group of young people. Even groups of two. The issues is that the long term thinking pathways are not fully developed yet, nor is the impulse control sections. Add peer pressure to the mix, and you got otherwise good kids stealing stop signs. Does that excuse the behavior? No. But it does mitigate it. And they will be treated accordingly by the law. Did they say that these were the same guys in the truck though? I thought it was different kids, involved with the same scavenger hunt.

Does anyone know if this will be a one off episode, or a two parter like “End of Time”? -

S47.E16: Jerrod Carmichael / Gunna
ajsnaves replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Saturday Night Live
I often look for movies I’ve seen a hundred times, and therefore don’t mind sleeping through. But short movies are good too. The doll sketch about killed me, especially when he bent her over. Reminds me of a story Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs told about his time at QVC. He was trying to sell a doll dressed as a nun that sang. Unfortunately the winder was in an unfortunate place under the skirt of her habit. -
The unaired Jeopardy pilot. Loved how literal they had to make their questions.

Maybe their value greatly increased when it was learned that said Railroad Company was building a new depot in New York City. And then continued to increase when some petty ass old money aldermen decided to play games with head of the company, and then had their financial asses handed to them. But they would not have been worthless when her father died, so it does not really make sense. But I feel like this is where Lord Julian is going.

Emphasis mine At time, I’ve been wondering if he is a lot more like Oscar than we realized, in that he is secretly gay, and needs a beard. Why he would latch onto Marian, I do not know. Unless she really does have the secret fortune he has hidden.

If anyone is curious about the Peshtigo Fire. (PESH-ti-go, not Pesh-TEA-go) As Jack said, it was the same day as the Chicago Fire, so it has been largely forgotten to History. Even though it was deadlier and costlier. (Of course if you live in NE Wisconsin or the UP, your know all about it, since your Grandfather reminded you regularly when the Chicago Fire came up. Or was that just me?) I like Jack and Bridget together. I hope we get more of them next season.

Just finished watching the two seasons. For me the hints about Nate are right there in our first interaction with him, when he runs up and yells at Ted for being on the grass. It may seem minor, but it was his first power move. And they have been laying the groundwork ever since. But, I still think they can redeem him somewhat. But he cannot come back to the team. Sometimes, when you burn bridges, they cannot be rebuilt. And that is what he did. He took his bridges down to the supports buried deep in the ground. But I think when he crashes and burns, and I think he will, he can build himself back up. If he so chooses. Or he can continue to blame others for his problems. Which ever works best for him I guess.

Turner's motives are to be the new Mrs. Chamberlain. Get her hooks into George, show him how to live. And then when Bertha is out of the picture... (I am not saying that Mrs. Chamberlain murdered the previous Mrs. Chamberlain.) Speaking of Mrs. Chamberlain, while I assume her motives are pure, she needs to think about her actions in setting up a rendezvous between Marion and Tom. Of the three of them, the only person who would be damaged if found out, would be Marion. Tom will just move on and up in Society, as he has been doing. No one cares what a man does. Mrs. Chamberlain will keep on keeping on, with nowhere lower to go. But Marian's reputation will be doubly besmirched. One might wonder if it's not part of some elaborate scheme to get back at Agnes for something.

Well there was a fire in this episode. And a few weeks ago with the kidnapped little girl. What I am surprised we don’t see is false more alarms because someone burned their frozen pizza and the whole apartment building’s alarm went off. That happens at least once a year in my building. Everyone knows it’s nothing serious, but they still have to come out to check. I took his comments at the scene to be a result of his impairment. I assume we will be seeing this guy again and he will be just as antagonistic, if not a bit more friendly about.
