  1. Is Qimir actually a Sith? Didn’t he say something like “A Jedi might call me a Sith”? That suggests to me that he is some other dark side user.
  2. I am reasonably certain that Master Sol and Jason Mendoza each know which twin they have. Sol seemed to hesitate when “Osha” walked up.
  3. That’s what I would have thought, but they specifically showed Ruby closing AND locking the TARDIS. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen them locking the TARDIS before. I seem to remember them just closing the door and it’s just locked. And neither RTD nor Moffet just include things. Everything has a reason. (Or it’s just a directorial choice and I’m just grasping.) As to the sonic, I assumed it was in his pocket, and thus inaccessible without setting off the mine. Otherwise Ruby could have just gone and got it. (After unlocking and then relocking the TARDIS.)
  4. While thinking about this episode a thought occurred to me. Where was The Doctor’s TARDIS key? We see Ruby’s when she exited and they needed hers to get back in. So where was his? My theory. Susan Twist took it while the Ambulance was attached to him.
  5. Something I just noticed on a rewatch. All the exterior doors on Ruby’s building are blue. But Mrs. Flood’s door is exactly TARDIS Blue. (At least current TARDIS Blue.) it’s just subtly different it seems.
  6. I just assumed much like ship captains, fire captains can officiate weddings. I means it’s really rather obvious when you think about it.
  7. I agree. Buck and Eddie may be fun to think about, and lord knows I have spent plenty of time doing so. But after years of friendship, I don’t want them to actually go there. But I think Bi Buck makes sense to me. I don’t know if could put it into words why, but it just does.
  8. Have we ver heard Linus speak before? Anyone else notice that they repeatedly said names and ranks of the bridge crew? Kinda like they want us to know who they are finally? Oh and Saru was always called Mister, not Captain.
  9. Someone should get Chief Robinson a Peacock subscription so she can review old episodes to what happens when someone goes up against Boden and 51. ‘Cus this is not going to end well for her. If I were Herman, I’d be pissed about that prank. Glitter is the herpes of arts and crafts supplies. It’s never going to be all gone.
  10. I loved this episode, and the season as a whole so far. As soon as I clocked the purse, it was all I could think about. So I was right there with Hetty and Sass. I loved their drive by adventure where they pop in for a second to basically ask to suck Carol’s fingers. It was nice that Trevor actually got to show that he was good at his job. Anybody know where he went to school? I don’t think he ever said. (So clearly not Harvard). I hope Sam and Jay ask him to help with their finances. So they can maybe not worry about money every few episodes. I get where both Issac and Jay are coming from. And others have said my thoughts more elegantly, so i wont rehash that. I liked that they gave Issac and the others their own table. I think it is actually a good business decision. It will help avoid accidental walk throughs, which could ruin things. (Or help when Flower comes back I guess)
  11. Well I liked it. I loved seeing The Doctor living his best life on the dance floor. He was lose and freewheeling, but still had the gravitas and mavity of The Doctor we’ve come to know the last 60 years. Plus he sings now. As to the neighbor lady, could it be Susan Forman, The Doctor’s granddaughter from the beginning?
  12. When The Meep did their heel turn, they said something like “I am Beep of the Meep.” I did not notice it until I rewatched with captions on. I assumed Beep was something like a title, like King of the Meep. But I guess it is a name, like Lothar of the Hill People. (Much has he seen, and much has he done.)
  13. When the Adipose plushy turned up, any other Star Trek fans think “Oh no! The Moopsie has escaped! Guard your bones everyone!” Something I noticed on the rewatch, The Doctor was not using 13’s Sonic. It looked like a variation on 11’s. Without the green. I wonder if there was any significance to that. Are we gonna see bits and bobs from other Doctors? 4’s Scarf? 2’s flute? 5’s celery? (Not many people can pull off a decorative vegetable.)
  14. I noticed this too. But he really didn’t talk about the show, per say. Rather he discussed his book where he describes his experience auditioning for Star Trek. A weak distinction sure, but enough to keep them from sanctioning beloved actor Sir Patrick Stewart.
  15. Just bumping this up for next season. Bakula fired that shot. It looks Sazz was trying to write something with her blood. Straight line. Start of the “B” from Bakula. Or maybe “J” for Jan.
  16. So we all agree that Scott Bakula fired that shot, right? I want a DVD release with audio commentary by Matthew Broderick and Uma.
  17. I’m wondering if we will get the announcement during this week’s rerun. I guess we will have to wait to see if we hear Darryl Hammond voice during the first commercial break.
  18. I think he’s filling the role Counselor/Senator Fey’Lya did in Heir to the Empire. The guy trying to gain as much power and influence as he can, at the expense of the others. It serves his political purpose to question and oppose the military and Mon Mothma. But in the end, still loyal to the New Republic. I honestly wish they would just recast the big four and get it done with. They already have their Chewie. I don’t see how they can have any depiction of the inner workings of the New Republic and its leaders without Leia, and by extension Han and Chewie. Luke can be on his own for the time being, but he too will have to get involved.
  19. But SNL is not a struck show for any union anymore. And they’re under contract. And from what I saw, SAG-AFTRA is telling their members to honor their contacts on those shows. And while maybe the longer tenured cast members could get away with that. I doubt the younger featured players could. And they’re probably hurting for money. As are the crew, who I’m sure would be eager to get back to work. My guess is that the show will be back soon. If not next week, the week after. I’m also guessing that the entire cast is coming back, or at least those that want to. I would not be surprised if we saw some changes mid season though.
  20. They are. They’re just under a different contract. So they’re not on strike against SNL. But I’m guessing any other SAG-AFTRA members would not be able to host. And if they did, they certainly can’t promote their struck projects.
  21. Last night I was cruising around YouTube when I came upon this video of Betty Davis appearing on Carson in 1988. The whole time I’m watching this all I could think of was Jan Hooks’ Betty Davis Video Will sketch.
  22. My theory, there are multiple killers. As there are multiple “Bens.” 3 in fact. And their names are Ben, Glen, and Roy. Loretta killed “Ben” on opening night at the theater. Probably with the cookies he’s talking to in the video. After he was killed, “Glen” took his place. “Glen” was killed by Dickie in the Arconia. That is why he was apologizing in the penthouse while Mable and Tobert were listening from the confessional, I mean armoire. In around Episode 6, “Roy” will turn up. The big reveal will involve the three bassinets in Oliver’s apartment. Possible twist. “Glen” and “Roy” were the ones who were murdered. And Dickie is really “Ben.”. They were triplets hired by Brazzos because they could work more hours by swapping them out. Credited as “Ben Glen Roy.” But “Ben” was not identical and not as good looking as the other two. So he became the manager. This one might be a bit out there though. But we will see.
  23. Interesting thing I just learned, Antipaxos is a real place. I thought it was made up like Mypos, Florin, and Cleveland. Now I want to go.
  24. We’ve already had one. But the Skype was glitchy.
  25. I really enjoyed this episode. But the whole time Nate was playing his violin, all I could think was Chidi's "Picture a wave" from The Good Place. Rebecca could not find Ted. Where do we think he was? I think making plans to go home.
