  1. But remember, these episodes were recorded in March, before the movie came out. How many people would have gotten this question right then, before the onslaught of ads for it?
  2. I loved this episode. I was familiar with the Charles Sumner caning, but not the other two, so it was fun hearing new stories. And I am not gonna lie, kinda want to know more about the guy who got stabbed while getting a hand-job. Jager bombs and drunk history don't appear to mix. As much fun as it may be for us to watch, I am sure it was a bitch to edit. I don't blame him for getting a little pissed.
  3. On the Jean Valjean, did any one else yell at the TV that he did not get 19 years for stealing a loaf of bread? It was five years for what he did. The rest because tried to run. I am enjoying this tournament, although it was a bit depressing to see a triple stumper on my Milwaukee Brewers and Futurama. I don't think any of the kids who made it to the this week have annoyed me, and would be happy to see any of them win. Although I think I am rooting for Jeff. I liked his energy, and his just happy to be there attitude.
  4. I would love to see Gwen come back for a visit, just so she could utter the line "You know nothing Jon Bates." That, and I want to know how she is doing too. I would also love to see Imelda Staunton too. I think it would be fun to see her play off of Carson or the Dowager Countess. And if we're bringing in people from Harry Potter, let's bring in Jim Broadbent and Mark Williams.
  5. I must be the only person who loved "The Unicorn and the Wasp." It might be one of my favorite episodes from what is certainly my favorite season. And it is my favorite season because of Donna. I loved that they were just friends, which was badly needed after Rose and Martha. I don't want romance between the Doctor and the companions. I want them to be best mates. A reason I missed The Ponds when they left. And I hope Twelve and Clara can do that as well. I would love it if they can find a way to bring Donna back, and Wilf too. But I wont hold my breath. The Doctor must keep running, and running forward. No looking back.
  6. I think one of my favorite TV Fun houses is the Charlie Brown Christmas one where the kids learn they have the power to makeover things by waving their hands. Sally saying "We posses an awesome power" just makes me laugh. But my all time favorite film is "Men Synchronized Swimming." That one will never not be funny, even 30 years later.
  7. The question I have is not how did they ID Lester and not Lorne. This is Vegas so I am sure their security team knew who both of them were, but Lorne was not registered as as Lorne Malvo. I am sure someone out there know who it really was, jut not the LVPD.The question I had about that scene is why didn't they see the triple murder in the elevator? Again, this is Vegas. There are cameras everywhere, in every hotel and casino. Are we supposed to believe that there are cameras in the lobby outside the elevator, but not in the elevator? Not in every hallway of every floor? IN the end I want Lester caught. I want him pulled through a bathroom window sniveling like a little baby, while trying to escape. I want Molly vindicated and Bill humiliated. But I also kinda want Lorne to get away like the serpent he is. But I would not say no to him going in a wood chipper via the "Deaf Fella." And I want Lou to take his new granddaughter fishing.
  8. The best part of that was his sheer joy when he says "I think I'll have breakfast for dinner." Never underestimate the joy pancakes can bring a man.
  9. I would love to see this kind of tournament. Call it a second chance tournament or something like that. I remember when Ken was on he commented that all of his opponents were very smart, like almost all contestants, but you can't underestimate the importance of buzzer proficiency. Now, did some of the contestants freeze on stage? Maybe. But I would bet most of them knew many of the answers Julia knew, and she just is better at buzzer timing. Does anybody know if they are done filming for the season?
  10. While he may have seemed to know things, he is also the one on their team who didn't get Mambo Number 5, when they had just said, "Mambo Number 5." He also had trouble with 12 Years a Slave. I thought he was a fine contestant on the couch, but there is no way he was the best option for the final game. I would have gone with the guy who is on a late night talk show, so sees many of these celebs regularly, or the guy who w.ho has a pop culture game show. I saw someone who thought Doug had a bit of a crush on Mekhi, which also occurred to me. All in all though, I enjoyed this episode. I love the charades game and the new block game was fun. Does anyone know if we are getting new episodes all summer?
  11. I enjoy Clue Boom, but I think I would enjoy it more if it was not on every episode. I think that was my problem with Hoe Do you Do Do. I continue to love the Monotone game. I think it is the right mix of easy and maddeningly difficult. I would have picked Andy or Billy for the final. Did Mekhi think he couldn't say shows or jobs the celebrity would be known for? Really, is doing a bad impression easier than saying "He's the President"? I can't believe the civilian did as well as he did with such horrible clues.
  12. I recently found this map of the Game of Thrones world. It allows you track the movements of people, and where everything is. It allows you to track things by book chapter or show episode. By and large I thought this was a good episode. I hope we get to see Brienne's and Podrick's adventures through Westeros. I loved the scene between Margery and Tommen, and of course the delightful Ser Ponce. And I can't wait to see more of Margery's manipulations, and Cersei's reactions. Sorry to see Lady Oleana go, but it may be fun to see Margery sink or swim in the great big soap opera that is King's Landing.
  13. "Ser. Jorah, eat a Snickers. You know what you're like when you're hungry."
