Why didn't Ross go visit Elizabeth? I mean, really Dude, you are in love with her, and sitting back and letting the wedding happen. Sheesh. It seems that Elizabeth would happily have married him. Also, Elizabeth should be blonde. I'm not going to forgive that. I never liked the character that much and I still don't. This Elizabeth, it seems, is more bearable thus far. I loved the books until they became focused on the children. As for the 70s version: AGATHA POLDARK MAY YOU ROT IN HELL! :)

Turning Maya into Riley is, for me, a mistake by the producers. The difference between the two girls is an important part of the show. I like the character of Shawn, but if he also turns in "Corey," then what is the point of the show? Without conflict,or balance between the happy and sad, then I think there is no good story. I was happy to be surprised at the arrival of Ghost Shawn's Dad (Chet)? It's kind of odd to me, because he wasn't a good father while he was alive, but he's somehow a great dad now that he's dead? Anyway, I like it because it gave Shawn some hope- and it seems that hope was the main storyline.

I am wondering if the coming season has a time jump of, maybe 5 years or so. This way the cast will have graduated college and have jobs or something. This way Damon can kind of move on with Bonnie after he's mourned Elena for 5 years. Because I can't imagine the writers will keep Damon celebrate the whole season.

That is utterly appalling. I felt bad that Maya was more worried about being sent home than she was about someone forcing themselves on her when she was so wasted. This bothers me more than the crazy Mother, who needs to have her medical license revoked. Adam may be smarmy, but I like that he stood up for Maya and socked the hell out of his "friend." Both he and Rachel seem to come from super dysfunctional families. I think it explains a lot. I'm curious to see how the season plays out (and hope there is a second season).

If Maya gets her happy dream of her Mom and Shawn being together, I fear the character will lose her edge and become a Riley clone. It's good if they give Shawn closure on the Angela.

Cumin. I forgot that Jim and Cindy (well, Cindy at least) had such a larger role. The speed walking scene and the lovely 90s wardrobe almost did me in. I think the Peach Pit was supposed to be in the valley (gasp!). Later on, it magically moved into down the corner where all West Beverly High students hang. So Brandon was sanctimonious even back then. I would not be surprised if in some far future sequel that Brandon became President Walsh of the United States. And Dylan was at the inaugural ball wearing overalls with only one strap buttoned.

I liked Kelly and Dylan. (I know, I know, but I never liked Brenda).

So who was Adam having sex with while Chet was watching (and giving Rachel the Sting's nosetip sign). Chet is awful. If the character dies, I am perfectly okay with it. I will be interested to see where Rachel's character will go. Will she save a shred of her soul, or will she become like Quinn (and if she sleeps with Adam the brit). I like the ex-boyfriend, which means he will probably turn out to be awful.

The podcast isn't playing for me. Hopefully it's just me. But now I won't get to hear about Dylan and his odd-but-magical- eyebrow?

Happy Dance!!! I know this isn't going to make things perfect, but I'm glad that the sonofabitch stepped down. Now I'm wondering what they had on him, because I am sure he didn't resign out of the goodness of his heart.

The pilot didn't have Dylan McKay!? I know I was supposed to like Brenda but I thought she was a brat from the get-go. And so many characters who were in the pilot and never heard from again. I hope you guys will recap (at least) through their graduation from high school. Because this show is....both brilliant and brilliantly awful.

I want Jon Oliver to have a follow up story about FIFA just so he can say, "I told you so!" I'm still outraged about Qatar- it's like they WANT the players and crowds to have heatstroke. I worry that this investigation won't change things and it will be one corrupt group being replacing another corrupt group. I hope I am wrong, because it would be great to see the sport run and played by honest people. I also want a pony. (Don't get me started about the lack human rights in both Qatar and Russia. I will rant for days).

It looks like we are veering on and off topic. In Arrow parlance, let's work on our aim. Please be mindful when you post.

You are exasperating. I am probably exasperating. If you must, call these The Summer Spoiler Rules. I have outlined what is and is not a spoiler for the unfronts in my previous post. I have defined what a spoiler is and is not. Spoilers in the summer are most often unspoiled speculation, and until actual pieces of script, casting, reports and/or unlicensed photos of episodes come out, they are not spoilers. If MG or an actor tweets (which is the most public of forums), it is not a spoiler. If they did, they might lose their jobs and/or get sued. Summer Hiatuses are difficult. Lots of time to twiddle ones thumbs. Of course I want you to use your judgement. Generally you have good judgment when it comes to spoilers. In the fall the area does get a little gray and we will outline new guidelines. While these rules may change in the fall, or in the near/far future, right now they are the rules. Another big rule that you many of you know by now: If you have an issue, question, or need clarification on any thread, you must PM a mod. This board is for talking about (the very few if any right now) actual spoilers. If you have questions, PM a mod. We are happy to answer you. Seriously. We are happy to hear from you in a PM. Also, that last scene with Damon on the town clocktower seemed a bit like they stole the cinematography from an Angel episode. I doubt we'll see Damn hook up with anyone now. He's going to become a monk. I like Stefan and Damon, so I'll be back next season. It's not must-see tv, but it's fun. I'm also going to call Damon/Bonnie 'ship "Pancakes." Damnie or Bondam just feels too cliche and hoke.
