  1. Very pleased to see Bailey taking charge of the interns.
  2. BBC announces renewal for two more years! Shetland Renewals
  3. Stupidest In Memoriam ever.
  4. Completely agree. It is a clumsy way to get Hana into trouble. Doesn't fit with the street-smart Hana.
  5. I just binged Season 2. Really like the relationship between Amy and Kirsten but (i) completely unrealistic that romantic partners would be allowed to work together; and (ii) crazy unrealistic that a 7 month pregnant DI would be chasing alone after armed killers. I particularly like that both Amy and Kirsten are shown as being very competent at their jobs - no "moron cops" storylines here. Convoluted plot with a mystery which was able to be solved midway through. However, I would watch Season 3.
  6. I enjoyed this episode: nothing gruesome, limited Smarmy Remy. I did not understand why they would leave Ray Senior in the house alone without protection - huge plot hole.
  7. Loved Cricket. Did we see Luke last season?
  8. Whatever happened to the female medical examiner who is the sister of Penny's fiance?
  9. Just finished my binge of Season 19. I like Teddy as the chief - she is competent. As the former head of cardio, wouldn't she realize that jaw pain can be a symptom of a heart attack in a woman? So - I think it is something else - an infection which went into her bloodstream, perhaps? How many attendings - besides Teddy - would know how to fix Sam's aorta problem? Don't they specialize? Winston is in Boston and Maggie left. Did they hire another cardio surgeon to replace her? Don't really care about any of the interns - but I like Helm and am glad she is back. Love Maxine and hopefully she makes it out of the hospital in one piece. Thought that Maggie's hair looked wonderful. I hope that we continue to see her from time to time. I love Meredith so I'm always happy to see her. Edited to add that I loved how shocked and overcome Bailey was to win the Fox Award. Addison should have been the co-winner.
  10. This show went downhill for me once Jess left and Remy took over. Cannot stand him - smarmy attitude, bad boss, horribly annoying. It killed the show for me. I always saw Jess as being a bit cerebral - more profiling and less big asshat. I like Nina - but I also liked Kristen. I also don't understand why Barnes isn't Number 2? Wasn't she Jess's second in command?
  11. Late to the party but binge watching all of Season 19 now. I thought that Maggie's departure was well done - particularly the elevator scene with her two mothers. Really like the idea of Schmidt going into pediatrics. Teared up at the actual Bar Mitzvah. Hope that Amelia does not fall off of the wagon. I never saw the chemistry between Kai and Amelia - perhaps because I don't feel anything from the actress playing Kai - so I am not sorry to see them break up. Between Amelia's sisters leaving and the breakup, she is primed for a fall.
  12. I've been binge watching all of Season 19 this week. Great to see Addison. So much of this season has been focused on the interns - who I do not care about - so it was really nice to focus on Bailey and Addison. They had better not kill off Addison.
  13. Tracy, Joni, Annie, Billy, Stevie... even Miley... I usually don't know many of the artists so this was a wonderful treat. Loved seeing Celine at the end. Great show.
  14. Jut finished Season 3. Tremendous! Sara Mortensen is just unreal as Astrid. Lots of character development and advancement. I need Season 4 ASAP!
  15. Terrific episode. Loved the foursome working together on the case. Missed Ivy. Glad to see the end of Arabella.
  16. I missed Ivy, Moses and William. The mystery was fine but I was bored.
  17. I am late to the party having just started binge-watching the series. I, too, like Fitzroy - he strikes me as the replacement for Rupert much more so than Hattie. I see him turning into an "information expert" and providing great help to Duke and Eliza. Great move to begin to pair Ivy and Mr. Potts for several reasons.
  18. I've been watching Miss Scarlet and the Duke on PBS and have been enjoying it. I don't usually like period pieces but there is tremendous chemistry between the leads and the production is top-notch. It revolves around the first female private detective in London and her relationship with an inspector at Scotland Yard.
  19. I enjoyed the Grey's Anatomy reunion. Love The Bear - not a comedy. Abbott is a comedy.
  20. I watched my recording last night. Loved how they had Queen Latifah's family involved. I kept waiting for John Travolta to show up and dance. The Kennedy Center Honors are always a highlight of the year for me.
  21. Astrid may be my favorite foreign show. So looking forward to binge-watching Season 3. Sara Mortensen, who plays Astrid, is phenomenal. I had no idea that there was a separate forum. Great!
  22. Finished Candice Renoir Season 8 last night. I thought this was a strong season which, of course, ended on a cliffhanger.
  23. An ending that I did not anticipate. Loved how Tosh finally left off the "Temporary" when answering the phone. Hope it gets renewed.
  24. I wish that they would bring back Julie Graham's Rhona as the fiscal. Harry is just not cutting it for me.
  25. Agreed! Add Judith Light to the list. I love watching her as Blanche.
