  1. I would LOVE a house where the majority were non-white. I think it'd be really interesting to see how cultural things impact the game when it's flipped like that. Plus, I'm just bored with the bland white folks they cast.
  2. I may have slipped into a coma during this episode. Those were two of the longest, most boring hours of television in the world. I used to like the Bachelorette more because the guys always had a lot of fun together and there wasn't a lot of tension and it was fun. And there was a rose ceremony at the end of each episode. Now it's like the worst possible episode of the world's worst soap opera. Just ugh. Fleiss must be on drugs if he thinks this is entertaining. I miss the FUN these people used to have. I would rather go to the dentist than watch this!
  3. I really liked the twin twist first time around, so I'm excited for it. I will never forget the look of utter defeat on Jace's face when Adria and Natalie were revealed. Best ever lol. I find a good portion of these people irritating and LOUD. I like Audrey because she realizes she doesn't have to shout in the diary room lol.
  4. So despite Ian's epic ego meltdown, I think he was correct in saying she was just there to make out with guys on TV - although I think HIS issue with it was that he was not one of the guys she was doing that with. I think she just accepted for the clothes, travel and "hot" guys to make out with. I think Ian had to be angling for Bachelor is Paradise, because no one is dumb enough to think coming off like an egotistical douche and slamming the lead is how you become the Bachelor. Or he is that stupid and Princeton is slacking in the education department.
  5. The teacher told the kids exactly how they ALL got there in 4028 - they were "hibernated" into the future. So the scenes we've seen with Pilcher and Ethan's boss and all the Seattle stuff is all flashbacks to 2014. I suspect we'll hear why they aren't told this in the next episode. I really liked the way they told us with the concurrent stories. Well, 'cept Theresa, still in the dark lol.
  6. I wasn't surprised Meghan won either. I think the way she led her team from early on in the season made up Chef's mind then. That being said, I think he'd actually have more success with T, because she still seems very trainable. I think he could mould her into the chef he would want, whereas I think he doesn't have as much room to do that with Meghan.
  7. Kaitlyn's cackle is getting on my nerves so much. It's coming off as a fake as Britt, which is saying a lot. Can't stand Nick or his brillo pad hair. As much as I hate him, the hate the guys have is ridiculous. Since they barely know each other, he's actually at a disadvantage compared to the guys that have been there for weeks already and have gone on dates and stuff with her. These guys are really as dumb as a bag of hair. I am with Ian on what he said in the previews. I think he nailed it. I will love it if some of the guys decide to leave because she brought Nick on and it made them think less of her lol. OH - and I was getting irrationally angry at the Met date that they weren't walking around looking at the damn exhibits. What a waste!
  8. That's what I was trying to figure out! She was engaged to her half brother?! I really love Angie and Oscar and their partnership. I'm glad this is getting a 4th season.
  9. I feel like Matt Dillon's natural operating place is one of sarcasm, so I was LOVING the snarky lines Ethan was throwing out. And book Pam was creepy psycho, but Melissa Leo just amps Pam up to psychopathic nightmare. She is fantastic and horrible all at the same time lol.
  10. I think the fact a good portion of Ethan running in the woods and getting into the mountain would have been kind of boring - and there wouldn't have been anything to switch to aside from that. So I can see why they changed it, but I wish he would have been told what was going on already - it seems like he'll be in the dark as sheriff and that makes NO sense to me. The whole point was the sheriff KNEW the danger and knew how important it was to keep everyone in the town. So I'm hoping the next ep starts with him being told because otherwise it makes little sense.
  11. Boxing is gross, so I had no interest in that date. The concussion was unsurprising. Amy Shumer was hilarious. I wish she'd narrate the whole show, and just follow the guys around the house taking them down a few pegs. I think Tanner and maybe Ben Z are the only guys there I find attractive.
  12. NCIS this past season had a lot more of Abby acting more adult and I liked it a lot and I would LOVE IT if Garcia went that route too. You can be sunshiney and squicked out about the job your friends do and fangirl excited over things, but you can also be professional in a working environment!
  13. My wishes for season 11: 1) More profiling. That IS what these people do, right? 2) More patient storytelling. 3) Less unsub. 4) Less JJ as The Terminator. 5) Let's get back to the "I'm the unsub ... " roleplay they did in S1. 6) More interaction with local PD. They rarely work with local cops/FBI anymore. We got some great guest stars with that focus.
  14. When is this coming back? I need some Top Chef in my life.
  15. I hope this fucking family vanishes off my TV for good and takes all its ridiculous apologist fans with it.
  16. I find Nick creepy and not attractive, but that just means he fits in with all of these other guys. I can't remember seeing a more average and boring group of guys in my life. Slim pickings. I think there was no true good choice for a Bachelorette that wanted to actually get married and have kids. Britt and Kaitlyn both say the words, but neither one means it. I think Britt was there to get exposure for her acting career and Kaitlyn is there to (as Ian said) make out with as many guys on TV as possible lol. But when I think of the other options from Chris's season, there were none. I think they need to go and find an unknown Bachelor or Bachelorette (especially Bachelor, because there is no prize in this group!).
  17. I think certain occupations show up again and again because it's easier for some to take the time off work. Some people may have jobs that make it impossible to leave unless they quit. So we see the pharmaceutical sales, people in family businesses, unemployed, personal trainers, hairdressers, makeup, models etc. They either work on their own or have the ability to take the time off or are working jobs that maybe aren't their target career. It does give the bachelor/ette a poor cross section though lol. I was also hoping that whoever votes for the non-winner goes home lol. Although I don't think they'll do that, not because they'd lose contestants, but because I think they'll like the drama of guys having to stay around to date their second choice girl lol. That being said, I wonder if Chris will say "if anyone here doesn't want to continue, there's the door" and if anyone will walk out. That would be totally gross, awkward and perfectly in line with this franchise.
  18. Did Chris Harrison actually say to Ryan "Have a seat" or was I dreaming it went that awesomely? I can't stand Britt. She comes off so fake. Her unwillingness to honestly say if she's feeling less than "excited!" comes off as so disingenuous. Kaitlyn, as awkward as she is, does come off more real. I wish she'd drop the joke thing because I think it's played out, but at least she honestly talks with some of these guys, Britt just touches her fair, opens her eyes wide and talks over each person while being "excited!" She is super aware of how she wants to portray herself that it comes off totally calculated and insincere. That Chris Harrison drawing was really good!
  19. I prefer real books and I still buy them for the authors I love, but I love being able to take almost my entire library with me on my Kobo Glo. I am considering upgrading to a Kobo Aura H2O because I love to read in the bathtub and it's waterproof. I'm currently trying to replicate my entire library in epub format. It's pretty easy to find epubs for fiction, it's all my non-fiction that's really hard (and sometimes not worth it).
  20. Get a free copy of my YA/NA novel Brookline University: Freshman Year on Kindle today (May 17). http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005XQJPZC
  21. I thought that too! I've thought for awhile they were setting up Arkady to be Callen's father.
  22. This aired last night in Canada. Meh. But isn't that true of every episode?
  23. I assumed she put the USB trap thing on her fiance's computer because he had more access to the company than she did, and when he was "discovered" as the mole, she realized it was the best way to keep herself safe (because she probably assumed he wouldn't kill his own son, but probably wouldn't have any qualms about having her killed). I also think Montgomery knows it's her and is setting her up.
  24. I was fully expecting the cancellation. You can't tell us stalkers are bad and stalking is bad and have the lead male character stalk his ex-wife. All credibility was gone when they had Jack do that and then tried to treat him like a hero. I still think if they had gone down the "Jack goes bad because of stalking" route and killed him off at the end of the season, opening up for a new partner, it would have worked a lot better. I really like Maggie Q and I loved her in this role, I just wish the supporting characters were better written. Now if only CSI: Cyber would get the axe.
  25. The only way to salvage this show is to kill Juliette. It would be poetic after Aunt Marie's warnings to Nick. And he has to do it ... it would be the only way I'd be able to handle continuing to watch.
