Marquel had me at cookies lol. I'm afraid this season might be a bit of a lame duck - even the previews didn't look all that "most shocking [insert here] ever". I want more crazy!

I feel like the gate-crashing Chris was added in later because the actual cocktail party was pretty quiet and tame. They needed some kind of drama.

I found her teeth completely distracting.

I agree that Adalind has become an unfun villain. I really like Claire Coffee, and when Adalind had her powers taken away, I had a lot of hope for the character. But I think all the baby/royal stuff kind of ruined her. I would have liked to see her flailing about life without powers and then reluctantly having to help Nick - when her character was vulnerable, I liked her more. I am liking Juliet a lot more this season too - I think in part because Bitsie Tulloch has had more to do so there's not such a flat character to deal with. I am still baffled beyond belief why a vet doesn't own a pet, and why they've never brought her in more regarding the animal nature of wesen. Occasionally they do, but it's just a little here and there - I think she could be used in a better way. I was so mad when Tommy Howell shot Renard I was gleeful when his head tumbled down the stairs. And I love him lol. But you don't shoot my captain! I think I'm most interested in seeing what Wu makes of everything. Pissed off Wu could be really intriguing - just think of the sarcastic comments!

This was the shortest season in the world. WTF??

I really miss JJ as the media liaison because I feel like her interactions with the family showed a better side of her with compassion and skills different from the profilers. As a profiler, she is exactly what SSAHotcher said - pushy, cold, arrogant.

That made me laugh. "I ain't gettin' on no submarine!" Although, I have to say I think he now has a legitimate reason for not wanting to get on them lol.

I thought they did a great job considering there wasn't a lot they could do to show Ralph Waite without using old footage and I always hate the retread stuff. I thought the ending with the boat was nice, and I was glad there was no cliffhanger or anything - it was just a nice send off.

Some great one liners in this episode. I really don't want Hetty to be gone. I find Granger insufferable and Nell is a poor substitute.

I died at the opening car chase.

I'm just confused because Phi Mu celebrated their 162nd anniversary this year so the celebration in the episode has me scratching my head. Unless it was shot before March 2013 and they could claim it was a celebration at the end of the 160th year ... ??

I'd love it if they cast people who could cook and we could see some actual decent stuff from them. I think it's why I enjoy Masterchef more - it's a lot more fun watching people be competent than it is watching people suck and being expected to believe they're in the running for a chef position. Really?? I just don't buy it anymore.

Dave and Connor are acting like Brendon and Rachel cheated somehow. They used a tool available in the game! What the hell is wrong with that?! It pains me to say that Rachel was right - if they can't handle that, they better stop racing. So juvenile. I am so sick of Leo and Jamal's shtick with their "magic carpets" and bullshit.

Susan, who left last episode when she was feeling ill - she was pregnant. It doesn't seem fair to fault Nicole for that - I'd like to see them bring back the last eliminated model (regardless of which team she was on) to join the team if someone leaves for health reasons.

Clyde the Shark was awesome lol. I've missed his tortoisey goodness. I like that they brought in the hackers again for a great callback. Died laughing at the thought of him singing Let It Go in that outfit lol. And I double love how Joan is all "whatever" and doesn't even bother to view the performance lol.

I thought rolling pennies looked relaxing lol.

It took me forever to realize the female cop was Jean Benoit on NCIS. I couldn't place her and it took ages for me to hunt down who she was.

I think the idol power will be that you can present it after the vote is read. I think that would lend itself to some great tribals IF the person who had it kept quiet about having it. The blindside expressions would be awesome lol.

This is only the second episode I can remember where the unsub got away at the end (the other being the child killer/molester on the Appalachian trail). Am I forgetting any others? Also, all the horror movie feel in it was great considering Tobin Bell's run in the Saw franchise lol.

I don't really like Nell-as-Hetty either. I think it's because the actress is so young looking, and the character has come off as having limited field experience (whereas Hetty is ... well, Hetty lol). It seems like a job that would require a lot more life experience and understanding/bonding of the team. Nell's reaction at wanting the Kensi pic off the screen was totally something I'd expect from her ... but not from the operations manager. Hetty had to keep it under wraps until the mission was done, even if it meant looking at upsetting stuff, and I just don't see Nell being there yet.

The scene when their helicopter first landed in Afghanistan looked exactly like the opening to MASH that I wondered if they filmed in the same place. Some great stuff with Deeks - I love it when he saves the day lol. I'm disappointed in the Jack situation - I was hoping it'd come out that he was with the Taliban and not that he was a good guy. Daniela Ruah was great at the end.
