  1. I LOVE that they hid the William B. Davis appearance by crediting him at the end! I wish more shows did this with surprises. I have read/seen nothing about the new series, so this was a great surprise. x
  2. If the lights on Chin's car didn't give away they were cops, then their total lack of reaction to dead bodies and guns would've done it. Any normal human would've been shocked, screamed etc when confronted with a dead guy in a trunk or being held up at gunpoint. They were so cool about it if I was the baddie I would've been immediately suspicious. Although I liked tying up the friend/dead wife story, I really hated the way they did it. They made Grover really unlikable.
  3. Jubilee as Bachelorette would be awesome. I think she'd be more confident too. She made Ben more interesting in their time together. He did seem truly engaged with her story and her as a person, moreso than with anyone else.
  4. I hope dentist Mandi fixes Lace's teeth one day. Ben is dullsville, but hopefully the girls bring the crazy. I liked Jubilee a lot, and no one else stood out. Although mini horse girl was fun.
  5. I just watched this episode tonight on Bravo Canada, and it was just so sad all around. I think Nate has some really deep issues. That fight was nasty and he is just nowhere near ready. Jay breaks my heart - actually loved Christina calling him an anorexic, because he may not have the clinical definition, but my God the "side effects" of not eating are majorly in his head. And I think if he wasn't so focused on that and probably more clear headed he'd see exactly what's happening with his mom. Who is also killing me. The look on her face when she took the heroin was so sad and ... almost understandable. She just wants to feel good and life doesn't. Alvey I just want to punch. Lisa ... I think could be decently off if she gets away from Alvey. I still want her to open her own gym and say fuck them lol.
  6. I couldn't stop laughing during the Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer song lol.
  7. I think Ysabel was the right call to go home, but I loved seeing her connect with other designers. I think knowing there are others out there like her and doing what she's doing at her age were huge things for her. She found her people! These designers are all so talented, way more so than the adult designers of late.
  8. I was barely paying attention and thought creepy neighbour killed her, but thought it was Boss, so he went to kill Boss and accuse him and the dad accidentally killed an innocent guy because he believed creepy neighbour. I know that didn't happen because Avery told him he was also facing charges, but it just shows you how little this show makes sense to me as I'm making up my own plot while watching lol.
  9. I used to peel off the stickers and move them, so I'm all with Ray on that one lol. I really hope they can keep Megan in a way that is believable, but it feels like they've really pasted themselves into a corner and will have to kill her off. Took me forever to recognize Desmond's constant - I knew I'd seen Sonya Walger before and had to Google it was driving me so crazy. Penny, how far you've fallen lol.
  10. Totally agree with Alicia Coppola. In addition to being a great actress, she has a really great look. My pick is Jonathan Tucker (Kingdom, Parenthood, Justified). He is just insanely good. One of those actors who you know will throw themselves into their role 110% and completely become another person.
  11. I think this episode was great, but if Original Recipe Beckett had been there, it would have been fantastic. As for new LocSat Beckett, I would be totally fine with Slaughter replacing her.
  12. Is Raina the one that's really good at everything but doesn't really want to be an agent, or is that Nima?
  13. I'm trying to figure out how a plane that went missing in 2011 looked in pristine condition and was on a small island - where the hell did it land? None of that made sense to me. I liked that when the shooting started Lynn was a mess, shaking, couldn't breathe. Very realistic (and surprising for this show lol).
  14. I also think she was already thinking what he said - "one son's a mute, the other's a fucking lunatic" lol. I have a feeling she was hoping for a girl because it probably would've been easier for her to leave him if that were the case. I think she feels like with a boy, he's going to be interested, and she's stuck with him. I'd like to see her branch out, take Jay and open her own gym. Alvey would lose his shit lol. I wondered if Laura had experience with an addict in her life and that's why she was taking a bit of time to not contact Jay and figure out if she can handle it.
  15. I was glad they killed the kid, because most shows end on that "yay it worked" upper and it was nice that despite everything they tried it didn't work for a change.
  16. I personally love how ridiculous and campy this show is. It's just FUN and I find that lacking in so many other things I'm watching. This is just over-the-top hilarity. I did love that we got to see Ralph be way more active and involved. Last season I felt like the young actor may not have the ability to play a super genius child, but I really believed him here and I think if they keep giving him more to do he'll just get better. I loved the "That's why he doesn't have time for Scouts" from Paige lol. I also love that Gallo recognizes all these things going on around him and always has just the right words to say without putting his nose too far in. Happy doing comedy was freaking hilarious and I loved Sylvester for laughing at her jokes. Which, I admit, I laughed at her chemical joke and Sly's "It's funny 'cause it's true" lol. Out of the characters, Walter is the one I dislike the most - and I like that I don't like him. I think he's pretentious, condescending and has no thoughts for others even though he pretends to care about the greater good. It's really all ego with him, it's all about him, and I like that Paige takes him down a peg every now and then. I don't like Walter at all, but I do like watching a character like him that isn't very sympathetic and is downright frustrating at times. He has the potential to alienate every human on earth, yet he manages to keep people around him. But I like that Paige is the one person that doesn't really accept that he has to treat people the way he does.
  17. I routinely want to slap Alvey for ... well, pretty much everything he does. Yet, somehow, Frank Grillo is so good that I still want to watch Alvey. I did like how he was with Nate after the fight and his reaction to it. He said and did everything Nate needed in those moments ... and it's stuff like that that makes it hard for me to outright hate Alvey lol. Jay vs Ryan ... I want Jay to win so bad lol.
  18. If I remember right, Brody rents from the doc.
  19. I loved that line, because I think it encapsulates Nate's character so well - a fighter who doesn't like to hurt people. Nice to see Keith is still working with his ham slices rather than big ham fists lol.
  20. I liked Laura - I think she could give Jay a run for his money. He seemed a bit taken aback that she was kicking him out and wouldn't let him stay over. I think she seems like the opposite of what he goes for - she's sexually confident, but you can tell it's not coming from a broken place like most girls he ends up with. Also, I am totally cool with seeing Tucker's ass every Wednesday. Alvey's friend is making me nervous. Although a lot of times with this show I think something is going somewhere and it doesn't - just like real life. So I've stopped guessing lol. I see Keith's anger on Ryan's behalf hasn't abated lol. When he gets out, I can see this being a huge issue. I desperately need a Keith/Jay scene, because I can't even imagine what the hell would happen there. I know they're shooting season 3 right now - does anyone know what they're going to do with Lisa's storyline? I can only imagine how difficult Kiele Sanchez would find either playing pregnant or having a kid on the show after losing her own (she suffered a stillbirth not long ago). I feel for her so much, and I think this is one of those cases where as a writer I'd want to totally defer to the actor about how to go forward with a story.
  21. I assumed Christina was toying with the guy at the bar to reclaim a bit of power for herself. She's stuck in a shitty job, her family has their own stuff going on that she's not a part of, and in the past she probably would've shot up to deal with it, but instead is playing these games to make herself feel better. Sort of a test of herself and a way to feel in control. Jay ... what a freaking tinderbox lol. I LOVE the character. Tucker's physical movement for the character are so great, just those big bombastic gestures and movements. But then, when it really matters and he's being real, he's very controlled and still. He's just a big, huge box of dynamite searching for a flame because he thinks he's supposed to. If there's one character on this show I hate, it's Mac. He is the root of so much of the shit that happens to these people. I was hoping he'd get his ass kicked in that fight lol.
  22. I really don't want Castle and Beckett together anymore, because she is just annoying as fuck now. They ruined everything. I don't buy the whole UST at all now because she's being such a selfish asshole. All I can think is Castle better wise up and dump her.
  23. I'm waiting for the moment I care about Mundo's issues. I think I'll be waiting a long time.
  24. God I hate Catherine. Glad she's gone. Find Steve a nice, normal girl.
  25. I was so mad the dancers got eliminated. Reminded me of Harley and Jon's exit - good team, fun to watch, behind the pack with absolutely no chance to catch up. Sucks. The race seems really dull now. I can't keep any of the teams straight, and they're either annoying as hell or totally bland.
