I think it'll be interesting if Trubel dies somehow. She takes a lot of risks as it is, but I think the effect on Nick would be interesting. And how do you kill a Grimm? I think maybe it could be the thing that sways Juliette over into agreeing that Nick's Grimm abilities are something he needs to have - maybe he could have saved her if he was one etc. I feel like both Elementary and Grimm are doing this massive change to the characters/format that we know won't last too long, but really underscores how much of the show is good based on the premise - Sherlock/Joan working together and Nick being a Grimm. You remove that, and it really shows how much of the soul of the show goes missing. Took me FOREVER to realize Renard's mom was Louise Lombard. Despite seeing her name in the credits. And knowing her from CSI. You do an accent, and suddenly I don't recognize you lol.

I miss JJ the media liaison. She had such a different person with the team then, and it served her character well. Now she's just a writer's Mary Sue.

They desperately need to turn Dylan McDermott into a crazed stalker. I wish someone running this show had the balls to do it.

"Otters?" is now my favourite Deeks line.

The kid screaming annoyed me so much I was relieved when the unsub went and duct taped his mouth shut. I'm a horrible person lol.

I actually hope they set up Jack to get worse as a stalker until he becomes the focus of an investigation. They need to turn him into a bad guy, and they have to bring in a new male cop who has chemistry with Maggie Q, and they have to go after Jack as a stalker. Because that's the only way his character will work for me. He can't be some good-guy cop on a stalker task force and be a stalker at the same time. It just doesn't work. I HATE his character. I HATE HIM. Unfortunately, I don't think they're going to be creative about this, and my guess will be that Beth already knows Jack's deep dark past. Now, Beth's character on the other hand - this is intriguing and interesting! I really like her, I'm interested in her past, and I am invested in what her stalker will do next and how she'll deal with him. Jack can go take a flying leap.

I turned it off after five minutes. I love Masterchef Junior, and I think it's because they keep the parents out of the way and let the kids do their own thing. And this was no Masterchef Junior.

I am getting tired of the breathy, tiny-voiced female singer covering songs at the end of each episode. So depressing.

S21.E08: The Girl Who Says It's Over

So this episode succeeded in me wanting to run out and get their product placed AncestryDNA ... only to discover it's US only. Boo! I thought the photo shoot was really boring. Most of them have been dull this cycle - nothing stands out as really artistic. It's like they're trying too hard. -
I am not really a fan of Brody. I really, really, really wish they had made the character the one that Zoe McLellan played on JAG - Petty Officer Jennifer Coates. Would have been a great call back, plus I liked her character (and her hair ... I just can't handle Brody's hair). I just don't find her character interesting at all. I'm warming up to LaSalle though. Not sure why. I have LOVED the Navy personnel they've had on. I wish the guest star from this episode was on the team - she was great. And it'd be nice to have a person of colour on the team - aside from LL Cool J, all of the NCISs are very whitewashed.

I wish Walter was a bit denser with people, because it would give Paige more of a reason to be there. I think the concept of her "translating" the world for them is good, but she never does it. Walter seems pretty savvy about people, self assured around them ... so for him to keep her around seems very much like creating a position for her because he likes her rather than really needing her.

I, too, assume Mapother was the baddie, because he always seems to be the baddie lol. So it was nice they flipped it up a bit. -
I really liked Maggie Q in this a LOT. What I was ugh on was Dylan McDermott. I just can't take his character as a stalker/budding stalker. It makes him so unlikeable. They really need to iron out that aspect of him because it doesn't work.

S15.E01: The CSI Effect

Nick is turning into Grissom. I am not against this lol. Fin is annoying as hell, and I'm hating the "DB's family in danger" thing again. His character was so good the first season, then they did the granddaughter kidnapping and it's been downhill since then. The addition of Fin has really made his character suffer as well. I can't stand Fin and was hoping she would blow up. I actually think it would've been nice to have a CSI die - since Warrick it hasn't happened. It's time, show! -
I really liked it. I think the characters are interesting, and I'm looking forward to where they'll go with it in future episodes.

I seriously wonder if Derrick will win, because we have had the benefit of seeing his entire game, while the houseguests who are voting on the winner, haven't. So many of them think Frankie is running the house, and Derrick isn't a thought in their minds. I wouldn't be surprised if they thought he was a floating coat-tail rider. He needs to have a great speech at the finals to really open up everyone's eyes so they see that he was truly the one running things, or else I think it's second place for him. -
For some reason my channel was showing an episode at the "Four Seasons Inn" in Vermont ... and not this one. No idea why or how that happened ...

If they ever do a real Team America type thing, it needs to be a player going into it from the get-go who HAS to do all of the missions and whose objective is to do that. Having actual players messes with it because they'll always choose their game over the mission if it benefits them.

WHAT HAPPENED WITH ZACH/FRANKIE?! -
I think dual Bachelors could be really awesome.

You can't really win on this show, and everyone going on it should know that. If the Bachelorette claims to be torn between two loves, then the final guy gets the whole "how can you say yes to marrying me if you loved another guy too?" and the relationship seems like it's not "true love" if he or she was torn up until the last minute. Whereas if you claim he was the only one the whole time, you're accused of leading the other one on. As the lead, you will always look like a jerk in some form because the show is set up to keep everyone in the dark about who the front runner is. There's no way around leading someone on or being "torn between two loves" because that's exactly what the show is set up to do. Now, since this show has been on for eons of bad relationships, every single damn person on it should know going in the lead could be faking their ass off as mandating by their damn contract and prepare themselves accordingly.

I think the key was that they said "THEY consider a floater/physical threat" - so they could decide Caleb is a floater and target him. I don't think it messes up anyone's game ... they just have to get on the same page with who they think falls into the category chosen. They could justify anyone.
