  1. Me too! That bit was hilarious. I'll never look at turkeys the same way again.
  2. This is my least favorite season. I hate the way they are portraying the queen like she is a wishy washy door mat. I don't believe for 1 second that the queen was anyone's door mat. My favorite Elizabeth is Claire Foy and Olivia Colman captures her well also. The center of the show should be Elizabeth and she felt like a supporting player. I also did not care about the couples in the divorce episode. They could have used that time on other story lines. I hope the final season is an improvement.
  3. I know her story thanks to a podcast called "Noble Blood" and I hope they do additional seasons that show her whole life.
  4. https://www.gettyimages.com/detail/news-photo/episode-14-pictured-eddie-murphy-as-herschel-walker-during-news-photo/141463691#:~:text=SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE -- Episode 14 -- Pictured%3A,Alan Singer%2FNBC%2FNBCU Photo Bank Save PURCHASE A LICENSE I found this but not the video.
  5. Eddie Murphy did a great Walker back in the day. I looked on youtube for it, but couldn't find it.
  6. That is my feeling. I'm assuming there will be reports about Alan's disappearance and the therapist will put it together.
  7. The behavior of the police as appalling. I know the two cops who handed the kid back over to Dahmer were terminated and later reinstated with back pay. The one guy went on to become president of his police union. And them calling the father to harass him. I'm not sure if that really happened or dramatic license, but it wouldn't have surprised me if they had done that.
  8. Me too. She was listening to Elias getting murdered and did nothing. I suspect she has a large part to play in Sam's issues.

    S01.E03: Issues

It seemed that Sam's mother's presence was making him very agitated. I'm loving this show, but they should be dropping 2 episodes a week, not one.
  10. Same here. I just love watching the 3 leads interact. They have such great chemistry.
  11. I will miss Jon so much. He always seems so nice and so genuine. He's one of those people whose sunshine cuts through the gloom. I'm not surprised he would leave. He now has an Oscar and a Grammy. I know he took extended leave to deal with his wife's health issues. I hope he comes back to the show for a sendoff.
  12. I loved this documentary. It showed Joanne and Paul as flawed human beings like we all are. I will say this for Paul. He stayed with her for 50 years through a lot of bad times. Most people, especially Hollywood stars, do not make 50 years. I think their connection was much deeper than their initial lust. I can only imagine the number of women that were throwing themselves at Paul Newman. Hell, I don't blame them! The most touching part for me was the regret and guilt Paul felt about his son.
  13. I did not know that Ethan Peck was Gregory Peck's grandson. That's some impressive lineage. Spock has always been my favorite character and I am enjoying this younger version of Spock. I can see him growing into Leonard Nimoy's version. His voice reminds me very much of Nimoy. I love the optimism on this show. It reminds me of TOS that I watched as kid. I remember being awed by the possible future of mankind where we put aside our differences and work together.
  14. I don't think the vacuum man is an option. The actor who played the part, Robert Forster, died a couple of years ago.
  15. AMC+. I cut the cable a few weeks ago and didn't want to miss "Better Call Saul" and I found this series.
  16. I love this show so much. Episode 6 was really intense. Does anyone know if they are doing a season 2?
  17. I thought the same thing. I said to my sister, "Aren't they supposed to be on I-95?" I live near the Philly stretch of I-95 and it's congested any time of day.
  18. The thought occurred to me how much Michelle Pfeiffer looks like Nancy Regan. I hope they do another season of this show. I would love to see Rosalyn Carter, Barbara Bush, and Abigail Adams.
  19. I did not know there was bad blood between Hillary and Michelle. I do remember that speech Michelle gave near the end of the campaign. I did laugh when Michelle was cursing about Trump. That felt very real.
  20. I love this show. It has the feeling of optimism of TOS that was so appealing to me as a kid. Discovery is too dark. Growing up during the Cold War, the most impressive thing to me about TOS was that there was a Russian on the bridge.
  21. That's what happened at Enron. It also happened to a lot of people at that time. Companies would encourage employees to invest in their stock as a form of retirement.
  22. I remember when Liberty had her puppies.
  23. Same here. I was in my early 20s during Watergate, so I remember all of it. I loved Betty Ford, so I am enjoying that as well. I'm loving all the 70s fashions on both shows. I would like to see more about Martha. Poor John Dean. They are making him out to be a buffoon, but that is not how I remember him.
  24. It's very distracting. If I were Michelle Obama, I would not be happy.
  25. I started crying as soon as Rebecca entered the train. The day before my mother passed from cancer, she told me she had a dream that she was riding on a train and her mother, father, and sister (all deceased) were on it. A few years ago, when my brother in law was dying, he had similar dreams. The hospice nurse told my sister that she hears these stories all the time. I'm so glad TIU addressed it.
