  1. Here we are talking about stores and sizing and then Jessa Blessa goes and does her shopping in Value Village!
  2. https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=what+is+Lemon8&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 maybe this?
  3. If not for their hideous beliefs it would be sweet. Do these children look blanket trained?
  4. I guess the "view" can be interpreted to be current or past news events, celebrity "gossip", deals, etc. I mostly have stopped watching, but do check in here.
  5. I think the ugly part of them is their beliefs and resulting behaviors.
  6. The sunscreen tip is what I tell my granddaughter all the time. I have even sent her some good quality stuff and told her to tell me when she runs out. Sometimes she will call or text to say she is putting it on. I keep reminding her. Young folks don't realize what that will do. I am 79 and in my day we used sun tan lotion! To try and fry ourselves! Not good all these years later
  7. I love those hints. I am good about knowing to be outside, but not the blinking. I am in a little book club, with unlikely but compatible members, but we are, and have picked some books I never would have considered, but, ended up really enjoying.
  8. And Justine Bateman is pushing the natural aging. The thing with botox and fillers, as with acrylic nails, is that they demand upkeep forever. And the other thing is that I think women not in the entertainment field who primp and such do that for the opinion of other women, because in my limited experience with men, they mostly don't care. Maybe the Bates/Dugger men do care. At least some of the younger ones, although the Duggar girls are mostly still au naturele.
  9. Agree, but just because we think their lives are awful, good chance they don't. Fully indoctrinated.
  10. Renee may not be okay with that. Maybe her mother doesn't make her as miserable as she would make us. Renee is used to it all. then again, Jinger Duggar Vuolo had a husband who exposed her to different thoughts but her transformation wasn't immediate.
  11. That part I don't blame them for, the thumb. Sweet Son sucked his thumb and I took him to a speech therapist who said we should put a "device" in his mouth to keep him from sucking his thumb. I thought he needed it and that the device would be cruel. I told him he could only suck his thumb in his room. I would remind him when the thumb went in. That limited it. In a few months speech therapy was over and his speech was normal. I don't know when he ever did stop sucking his thumb because I never saw it. I knew it when he would disappear for a few minutes and then back he would come. I wonder if Gideon had a hearing test too.
  12. Well there is baby led weaning with parents who aren't idiots. Grandchildren were weaned this way and they are mostly grown and haven't choked yet! But this crew is just lazy.
  13. That's what I have been thinking but you said it so well. They don't know any different. I'm reading "Educated" by Tara Westover. Different cult same idea.
  14. That does not look like hotel food. It looks like someone used a crockpot, boiled pasta and added a jar of ragu, and opened a can of corn.
  15. Oh, I'm not advocating for it for her or anyone that doesn't need it!!!!!!! I was just saying what I heard her say. I also read somewhere that if they want to come off it, the weight comes back. So, there's that.
  16. I think I heard her say on her Instagram that she takes one of those new diabetes drugs, because she was "borderline". And now her doctor is happy
  17. I saw that too! Unless spouse is on board and couple present a united front it is going to be harder than the regular hard.
  18. thanks for commenting. One picture posted and what happens the rest of the time? I guess they posted because they thought it was "cute"? Who knows. Lately even people not the Browns post stuff that makes one think WTF
  19. Of course safety first. This is one picture posted. We can assume Avalon counter plays up there all the time unsupervised or we can assume she got up there or someone put her there for the picture and down she goes. Or somewhere in between. Hard to know with one picture. I think we have a grand standing on a counter. Picture taken, down he came, cleaner used. I read Carolyn Hax advice column in the Washington post on line and Lots of mothers of young children bemoan their fate of tired, no sleep, blah blah. Did no one warn them that babies have their own schedules?
  20. Ya know - I was thinking that same thing and then thought - wow - maybe I am a heathen! I know we sat the grands on the counter while we were cooking. In diapers and clothes. Then we cleaned it all up and we are fine. She looks happy and seems well cared for. A little squirt of plexus - Um I mean cleaner - would solve the dirty feet issue. Does it seem like Mykelti is faking seeming to enjoy her life? Doesn't know any better? We wouldn't want to be with Tony but seems like she does.
  21. My experience is mixed with women doctors and men doctors. I've had great ones and yuck ones in each category.
  22. Well I do sit in the end of the table. I guess I could strike a pose for a picture if anyone including me cared.
  23. Janelle's pie looks fine. My favorite is bumbleberry. Daughter in law makes it for me - we like Granny Smith apples and add blackberries. It is so delicious and there are lots of recipes on line https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/38398/bumbleberry-pie-ii/
  24. Agree. Let's remember that every situation is different. My sons bonded very quickly with Mr lookeyloo who is their step father. They still saw biodad but got way more from Mr lookeyloo. They kept asking me why he couldn't live with us. Me- taking my good old time. 40 plus years later all good. Granted mine are male children but still if all stars align it might be good for Truely.
