Well, that's what we normal people would do. Where would be the drama if Sherri did that?

The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah
lookeyloo replied to SpaghettiTuesdays's topic in Counting On
That would be great if she had the strength to do that. She seems so submissive on screen - maybe there is more to her when the cameras are off. She really seems to have no skills for planning an escape, a funding source, friendly place to take her in, etc. The longer she stays the more she becomes "institutionalized" to her situation, if that makes sense. Maybe off camera she asserts herself. -
"bitter pontificating bully," Couldn't have said this better! That's exactly how she comes off to me. Can't speak to who is more intelligent, at least on paper, but, I enjoy Rosie's discussions much better. I don't agree with her all the time, but, she does seem like she wants a discussion vs. giving a lecture.

No not new! Quiet mostly because all of you are so on target. But we talk about her meeting someone and escaping and honestly I don't know if she could muster up whatever energy or enthusiasm it would take. -

Does anyone think that Jana has had so much "spunk" knocked out of her that she is maybe depressed, or repressed, and can't seem to get herself out of it? She has a pretty smile, but seems kind of vacant. I would guess that overwork, or unappreciated work, or boring work, combined with the lack of spunk, or opportunities for any kind of mental stimulation (forget physical!) could put one in a big funk. -
Unless they manage to get pictures with those super duper big lenses the paparazzi use.

The comments attached to that article are so interesting!!! I wonder if the Whoopster is going to try and get a retraction or wave her finger into the camera at them.

I agree with you on Rosie P's wardrobe. I think she looks adorable if that is a word for a 50 year old woman. I'd like to shop where she shops too, but first I'd have to make a stop in the cute body store and buy one of those!!!!

Complaint Central: Don't Tweet Whoopi About It

Thanks for posting the link to leave feedback. I also did and will do it on a regular basis. -
Don't know if it has been mentioned and I missed it but maybe Derrick takes leave without pay. If he gets TLC $$ that could offset his reduced salary. If all this is negotiated up front and his responsibilities are assigned with this in mind then maybe that's how it works. His coworkers would know this - at least his supervisors would. I'm guessing coworker reactions would run the gamut from don't care to mighty pissed.

Could someone please send me the link for Jana's Facebook page? I can't seem to find it on my own for some reason. Also a recent post on the Duggar Family Facebook page says JD is not and has never been in a courtship. -
And the poor grandchildren made to take care of Grandma and Grandpa Duggar. And so it goes...

I'm only to where she is about 7 (4 CDs in) and she has had it very rough. I'm waiting for her to say how she worked (or is still working) to overcome this horrendous beginning.

Gosh, yes, some of those questions I would have asked and her answers do evoke the same sadness and frustration for her, with me. I wonder if any of this gets brought back to the powerful to address.

I just started listening to Rosie P's book. She reads it so if her voice bothers you skip the audio version! I don't mind it. I'm only on the second disk and boy her life beginning at 3 years old is quite disturbing to me. She must have had some good therapy plus having a resilience of her own.

The videos were very sweet. But to me they were colored by the "back story".

S40.E06: Woody Harrelson / Kendrick Lamar

Mr Lookeyloo and I are way out of the demographic for this show but have been watching from the beginning. All in all we thought this was one of their better shows. The sketches did not go on forever. Love crazy Kate.
