  1. I always wonder if they say what they think they are supposed to and do what they want to "in private". Jill posted that she was listening to a sermon, but, was she really? Good point about the car.
  2. Mr. Lookeyloo has a sensitivity to cow dairy, but not butter (no protein in it he explains). Anyway, I am famous in our little circle for my mashed potatoes which use some of the potato water and a lot of butter. Very delicious. Two ingredients not counting salt and pepper. Our preference is for white pepper although I know this isn't popular. On holidays it does take some doing to peel 5 lbs of potatoes which serves about 10 people, not all of them adults. So they'd have to peel probably 10 lbs, maybe more since the big boys would probably eat a lot. I don't do the peeling, but delegate this out to the men and they are happy to do it, to get to the mashed part.
  3. That's his way out. Staff does it and he stays "uninvolved". Haha.
  4. http://www.people.com/article/sherri-shepherd-lamar-sally-final-court-date-baby there was also a video of her walking into the courtroom, on another site.
  5. Are those steaks or big slabs of ground beef they are thawing in the skillet?
  6. i'll bet Lindsey Graham's office staff send and receive email
  7. Like Absolom said, we really don't know what was filmed and how it was edited. If we see an hour a week for a while and they film them for many hours, it has to be edited down to what TLC thinks is the most interesting/provocative, etc. I am surely not giving them any passes in the good behavior department. Just that we don't see or hear every single conversation, either in front of or behind the cameras.
  8. Mr Lookeyloo and I enjoyed the show for the most part. Did anyone think Chris H looked like George W Bush when he was wearing the shirt wig and especially when he was doing the southern/western accent?
  9. Oh, well, it isn't 5 years!!! Thanks, Sew Sumi.
  10. I can imagine the thoughts going through your head, Wanderwoman. But, as Micks Picks says, babies are very tough. Lets hope this is just a mere hiccup in precious Maisie's continued journey to going home with nothing that can't be resolved with some time and maybe some therapy.
  11. The Duggars and the Bates both have their arms folded across their chests in many scenes. I think mostly the girls. What's up with that?
  12. Michaella is so over the moon re: Brandon. I hope it doesn't run him off. He seems kind of laid back and I think she is restraining herself from jumping him. Five years with no concrete end in sight seems like a struggle for her. It's five years they know each other? But I can't remember when they entered the courtship.
  13. Did anyone see when Tracy Ellis Ross was a guest and how much she and Carla look alike? It was fun watching them and then they talked about when they were mistaken for each other.
  14. Lately she's been a guest host on The View. If she would just not be so animated I would like her in that role. What she says usually makes good sense but the hands waving, big smile, overdone facial expressions, etc. don't translate well in my opinion.
  15. I did enjoy this show for what it was - surely it wasn't WNTW. The singer's singing was awful but she turned out much nicer looking. I doubt Stacy will ever have to style her for her Grammy nomination.
  16. Please help me remember - wasn't there some allegation (not sure of substantiated) of abuse of Robyn by the ex? Would that play into why her ex has no legal or physical custody? And would that have an effect on any court ruling?
  17. Those seven needs are quite horrifying. Seems like a female with any "spunk" at all will have to push it way down to adhere. Or learn how to manipulate, or really "fake it" on so many levels. And what kind of man wants a woman who adheres? Michelle has even made some disparaging remarks to the camera when JB came up with his scheme to have a farm. Disturbing for sure.
  18. Seemed to me that she had different/less eye makeup on. I seem to think that when she went to the shorter hairstyle her eye makeup changed too.
  19. SO glad to hear this most encouraging news!
  20. Sounds fun and glad to hear the good news!!
  21. Maybe she did have that conversation. Maybe he said in a respectful way "lay off Mom. I'm sure about this" and she decided to,go along rather than not being involved in anything.
  22. I listened to Audition and for the most part enjoyed it. Of course it was all about Barbara - it was her story. I got it from the library right after it came out so can't recall everything. She didn't have an easy life. I don't know what kind of person she is in "real life" but she did work hard. I agree that it is time for her to enjoy her View from her couch.
  23. They sure "slammed up" that pit of a house. It looks pretty cute now. And no sign of the mold. At least to the naked eye.
  24. Shows okay to me. Nothing great. What in the world is wrong with Babs's face -especially around the sides of her nose. Maybe makeup but looks like the sides of her nostrils are pulled up. More tweaking?
