Oh Happy! We would have to record it for the Board! But that's fine. I keep a can on hand. I do not like that pea salad. But I do like the carrot and raisin salad at the Piccadilly on North Druid Hills Road. It is Not Wet like the carrot and raisin salad at the Piccadilly where I live now.

SewSumi - so sorry about your sister.

I think it was a very young Jana feeding the peas straight from the can to one of the howlers I think who was in a high chair. Then we had a long discussion on the non- virtue of this practice. I remember because my mother always served us canned vegetables straight from the can. Drain them and plop them on the table. We didn't know any better as kids although none of us do this as adults. Now canned peas at room temperature are comfort food for me. Of course we weren't babies in high chairs. Just regular kids. We have all come to the conclusion that my mother was clinically depressed long before the good drugs were available. Not the case in the duggar family IMHO

Seashell Lover - I feel their pain and yours. They will get over it and you can remind them about it when they are teenagers!!

The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah
lookeyloo replied to SpaghettiTuesdays's topic in Counting On
I think they cry because they don't really like each other and want Cody to themselves. They say they want the lifestyle but maybe in theory and not in practice. Something the Duggar girls won't ever have to deal with. -

At least the 4 wives are there by their own choice and as "douchy" as he seems to us it looks like they like him and he doesn't stand in their way much. I think he has a "Magic trick" to keep all those women interested!! -
I remember my baby brother watching Ding Dong School and shouting "NO!!" At her. She got on his last baby nerve. Who remembers the Howdy Doody Show? I'm 71 .5

I remember mostly everything. I think I am the old lady of the bunch of us.

Not a Josh supporter but we really don't know if he is on a job hunt. How would we know? Maybe he is talking to folks. In the best of circumstances jobs take a while to find. Is he on LinkedIn? Monster.com? My guess is no. I am guessing he is passing his resume around to those most likely to give him a chance. Someone posted a while back that he would likely find a behind the scenes job with someone he knows. Am I remembering that right?

Oh my gosh. Do people think he would reach out and grope someone in a public place? -
Saving that for the grands who live in pacific nw. What's the scoop on lithium water from Lithia Springs? A psychiatrist was citing studies which I googled that people are calmer when they drink that water - lower suicide rates too

Happy - we are bringing a truckload full of overflow so we can stage current house. New house in Mableton. Cobb County. Close enough to what I am familiar with since son lives closer in and I am a regular visitor.

Yay me! Happy, I'm getting closer. Can you feel the shift in the force?

Live With Kelly And Mark - General Discussion
lookeyloo replied to Shermie's topic in Live With Kelly And Mark
Maybe Kelly's kids, as they get older, do not want her to talk about them or family events on TV. We know her mother or sister don't like to be part of Host Chat. -
Oh Happyfatchick! Rereading what I wrote made it look like I was easing out the spouse - I refer to him as Mr Lookeyloo!!! But really we have had enough pets that have made it over the rainbow bridge - sometimes with the vet assisting - that I understand and appreciate what Mindy McIndy and the other pet loving posters are going through. Sometimes we have to make the decision for them, and not ourselves. Not easy.
-
It is always hard, Mindy McIndy. Have gone down that road a lot with Mr. Lookeyloo. You will do whatever you can for Fig and when that time comes, you will make that decision for him too. It won't be easy but you love him enough. Meanwhile, enjoy him now, as you are trying to do. I second the chicken broth idea. My ex's wife kept him alive for years, not exaggerating, when a brain tumor took everything from him but basic bodily functions. Terrible situation for my kids.

I have an ad for Brilliant Earth Stunning Vintage Rings One-of-a-Kind Beauty. With a picture of a pretty vintage ring. Back to J and B. I wonder how much of the stuff they spew they actually believe.

Wanderwoman, thanks for having the strength to let us know what is up. We are all concerned about you and your family. We would be there in a heartbeat to help if we could. I will agree with everyone's postings, and to add that if it all possible take advantage of the support from where you are getting your chemo if you have no other options. You don't have to convince Mr. WW to go. You try and make it when you can. Maybe you can get a phone appointment. They are very familiar with the issues you mention and might have some concrete information for you as far as help. And of course it never hurts to unload on someone who understands. I speak from experience here. Also, you have not mentioned having family/friends who can come and help temporarily. If this is at all an option, please use it. Sending ffcyberhugs.

Hemorrhoids? Or maybe her butt is just that boney

Mindy- oh my, we have been there with our fur baby kitties with various and sundry chronic conditions so we understand your feelings about your precious Fig. It will be your new normal for now and you will get into a routine and enjoy all the time you can with each other. Sending hugs all around.
