And remember when she worked with his sister to surprise him and he accused her of lying about her whereabouts to pull it off? -

Your last paragraph reminds me that Brandon didn't seem all that anxious to marry anyone, let alone Michael. It was a production if I remember correctly, with a lot of encouragement and pining by Michael and pressure from KJ. I think his sister had something to do with it too. Am I remembering right? He is probably happy enough with their life together except for her - how shall I say it - pining for a child to make their (her) life complete. -
Kodie?? Kodee? Kodey?

Picking children's names is personal. Can't please everyone. I didn't with first born's name. He loves his name. -

They all probably think Carfax is associated with the devil Maybe they both have anxiety disorders and this is how they deal with them. -

He already said he is never going back to electrician work. It was just a time filler for him. Their future is probably being determined by the Magic 8 Ball -
I understand. Lived like this for over 40 years. If we stayed in BR (now in metro Atlanta) I told Mr lookeyloo I wanted a whole house generator because the power goes out that often and sometimes for a long time.

We lived in Baton Rouge, LA for many years and yes we got them almost every day spring through fall. When we moved there I was shocked by them, never having experienced anything like it anywhere before. Then got used to it never giving them a second thought.

I am not a Carlin fan and I think she is "malingering" but perhaps the ballet flat is too low to balance walking on a boot of any sort? Making her legs feel uneven? But then again, I am not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV! -
Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore

I have heard and maybe those of you who have done it, that sometimes starting school during a school year could be easier than at the beginning of the year. Sort of melt right in? Observations? I was one of those who went K-6 in the same school, then 7-8 in a junior high and then the district converted to middle schools, so 9th in a school and 10-12 in the high school. But, small city, and went to school with mostly the same kids -
Well, my Small Talk friends, I have made it through Mothers Day - another one without Sweet Son. I do have another son and grandchildren, son in law, and of course Mr lookeyloo, but, there is still that gaping hole Sweet Son left in my heart. It was a rough day with me being thankful and grateful for the wonderful family I have and other things of course, but, still hard to get through it. Daughter in law sent me this article. https://www.chicagotribune.com/columns/heidi-stevens/ct-life-stevens-friday-mothers-day-wish-0510-story.html

Did he do something cosmetic with his hair? Just let it grow in? He seemed more hair challenged in the recent past. Nice picture of the two of them.

Is it Joyanna or Joy Anna? Is that her name? -
I'm not being critical! It is baffling in that I just feel uncomfortable with my "parts" rubbing against the inside of outer ware if you get my drift. But obviously for you and others it isn't an issue. I'm sure y'all wash your clothes - I was born in '44 so not that far off. And back then we didn't bathe every day. And I know we weren't the only ones. And I hardly think this personal preference affects voting or personality or anything else except no panties in the laundry basket. Carry on.

@GeeGolly aren't you funny! Making jokes like that! Actually it makes good sense but, you know, the Duggars - they do things a little bit different. And who cares if a child is suffering. Sweet Son had terrible allergies and he suffered when he was a child. But, the shots worked for him and we did what we needed to do in the house. -
Her older brother was all over me until he became a teenager. Now he is finishing up first year of law school and he had an "alone" visit before school started. He sat close and let his knee lean on me. I just sat and let it happen. I asked did he remember all those years. Said "of course" - and y'all know I still want to cuddle him but he's not there yet or anymore. The youngest is 15 and he is still affectionate. Will see if and when it ends with him. It's fun watching them go from tiny folks to adults. Daughter in law and I keep saying we want a "rewind"!

That's the beauty of being in my case "Grandma" (knowing there are lots of names our grandchildren use). We just took almost 20 year old granddaughter to the airport. She came here after first year of college ended before she went home. We think she is the "best girl ever" - and of course we are biased a bit too. But just pure pleasure to see her maturing but still little girl enough to say her favorite part of the visit was lying on me with me stroking her hair. My favorite part too.

Well they did take the carpet out. Was it for allergies or potty training accidents? Maybe poor Giddy is allergic to something he would need shots for and we know that isn't happening. -
Jenna Bush Hager says she does t wear underwear either. Baffling to me for both her and the Whoopster

Maybe the trendier names with no thought to other family members started when they started letting the older girls come up with names for new babies? Am I misremembering that?
