I think they are scared to get in the cross hairs. Liz Cheney has five children I think they would be fair game too. I was reading a piece about them going after Liz Cheney and such and of course they didn't commit any crimes, but, to be investigated and harassed is time consuming and expensive. I know we had the discussion way back about Kathy Griffin and her tasteless stunt, which was Not illegal, just tasteless (big discussion a while back) and how much in legal fees and lost revenue it cost her. It can cripple a business and a life, at least for a long time.

I would agree that some of them are shallow, but, to paint all of them with a wide brush seems a bit overreaching. Unless you have information on all of them to back this up? I guess when someone says or implies All, then that leaves a question of...how did you come by this information? From social media or some research. If I said "I just find MAGA supporters to be ill informed" (I can't speak for you) would you say "What? That's not true".
