Hmmmm....Out West huh? I bet they are moving to Henderson NV to be near her parents.

I lived there for many years. I hope they have a school plan worked out for both boys ahead of time. I really hated having to put Lil Fairy in school there. It's brutal AF.

interesting, I think they foreclosed on the house in F.L - I guess maybe they are moving to Nevada and living in the parents 5th wheel or RV ?

Whatever the reason for the move (I suspect financial, although Jac will probably say to be closer to her parents as they are getting older), the person I feel bad for is CJ.   He just turned 17.  He has to move for senior year of high school?  That's rough.  Maybe he will stay behind with Aunt Caroline or finish out his final year.  

That said, how long do these bankruptcies and foreclosures last?  I mean, Chris Laurita was saying that it was probably their last year in that house several seasons ago. 

I always wonder about these HUGE homes that people build.  I mean, we are surrounded by them up here in NJ, and I always wonder about the resale and actual profit to be made on such a home.  I mean, people are only willing to pay so much for somebody else's custom home.  Especially when the custom home is really ugly.

Check out Zillow for the real estate run-down in your area.  It'll tell you how long some of these homes have been on the market.  Women have given birth in a shorter time.

Funny. But I do hope that CJ gets to stay in NJ to finish his senior year and that he worked really hard in school and can get a scholarship.

Custom homes are the worst. The sellers act like it's a privilege to be offering their taste to you. Uh no, I don't want your initialed mantle or wine cellar recording studio or Tuscan landscape wall mural painted by your pizza man's cousin.

Lol this reminded me of that scene in whatever season it was where the Gorgas were trying to sell their house, and faucets were coming off in people’s hands, and there was no running water, and the sink was made of wax instead of granite...cut to Joe Gorga bragging about how lucky and fortunate whatever buyer would be to get it for such a low price (4 million I think it was 🙄). I live in NJ too and I get a minor pang of jealousy driving through some of those neighborhoods. Then I think about the insanely high property taxes, the heating and cooling costs, the maintenance on top of a $10,000 minimum mortgage...then I get over it 😂

That episode will never not be hilarious! 

So true! But it's also important to remember more of those homes are Gorga quality than we realize. I'll take my dated but sturdy homes anyday!

Has Jac posted any pictures of their new home?  I am curious if they moved in with her parents.  I remember her acting like a big-shot when they came to visit, showing off her home. 

Is Henderson a bad area?  A friend of mine moved to Summerlin and I was very impressed when I visited  - the parks were beautiful, the schools were nice, I liked the whole area.  Granted, I lived in Chicago and it is a cesspool of yuck and misery.  I live in the Chicago burbs now, and it's nicer than the city, but I think Nevada is pretty nice.  Isn't there a ton of money flowing through there from all of the casinos?

Pretty sure they are in The Green Valley Area. It’s the new part of Henderson so to speak. I lived in that area from 2000-2014 and loved it. Great neighborhood and great schools. 13 minutes to the airport. Fabulous. 

I lived in Summerlin as well for a bit. Nice neighborhoods but not as great schools IMO. And a real pain in the butt to crawl to the airport. I haven’t seen any photos. I should be able to figure out what side they are on.  Still betting Henderson/Green Valley. Her parents said Henderson but I can’t see them in Old Henderson. Nothing really wrong with it just not where I would choose.

I see what you're saying - most of the schools are rated 6, 5... a few 1.  Ooof!  I guess I am spoiled with the 9s and 10s where I am.

I should/will take this to the Melissa & Joey thread - but I am just waiting for their house of cards to fall.  How can it be that they are still living in that house?

Real talk...if I had to have kids in school there again, I’d opt for online. While my side was in the preferred area, the kids had a really hard time in that district. They would probably have Nick in a particular school. My nephew went in Summerlin so it’s difficult to determine which direction they went.🤷🏻‍♀️
