Former Hosts: PROFESSIONAL Life After The View

According to Wikipedia, "The Real" only started in September 2014, after Sherri was shitcanned from The View, so I don't know how she knows that they watch The Real over at The View.

It had a 4 week run (on FOX) in the summer apparently. I had to check to see if it aired in NY. It did,  at noon.  That's some tricky tv watching before a show that goes on at 11am. Perhaps they recorded it to watch together, LOL!

Gawd, Sherri would make it so much easier for herself if she just kept it real. I'm not saying she needs to truthfully tell us every aspect of her life. I'm just saying - quit making stuff up!

It has got to be exhausting to keep track of all the stories she makes up (and the details of real events that she changes)

She sure doesn't do a good job of it!

It'd be easier to just tell the truth!

In fairness, her friend Bitsy also just made stuff up.  What is it about those two?  Nobody else on this show did it.

It was a two part interview. I may have my dates off and it could have run already. Part 1 is up on their website.

That was not an interview of Sherri. It was Sal and the surrogate. It aired last week. Sherri did not participate and did not respond to IE's request for comment.

I think that's the worst wig I've ever seen her in.   Almost looks like she's going for Nichole's look, similar length, color, highlights.   that wig might look good on someone else.  But Sherri, you are not a blonde.

That wig was hideous on her.  I love the style and color but on her OMG just no no no.  Is there not someone in Sherri's life that can tell her the truth about  her appearance?

I'm sure plenty have tried.

Thanks Tribbletrouble. I didn't realize that it was about her personal life. I saw a blurb for the show on TV and saw her photo and thought she was going to be on.

Sherri finally appears after the First Edition shows about her actions last week. Note how well dressed she is with body fat escaping from her dress.............

I wonder if she's presenting at the awards. She's certainly not there to accept if The View wins, LOL!

Given the events of the week - Rosie's imminent departure - I hope the producers consider giving Joy some time back on the show.  She's well-informed and articulate, she'd be able to get into the issues with Nicolle in a non-obnoxious way, she's great with guests, and she seems to have gotten along with Whoopi when they were colleagues.

I've honestly been having nightmares about them re-hiring Sherri Shepherd. I hate how she's been turning up everywhere on television the past month, no matter how much I try to avoid her. GO AWAY!

Ha!  That's the good thing about Bitsy being at Faux & Friends in the middle of the night.    I know where she is and I suspect there is very little chance of her showing up anywhere else.

Sherri is probably kicking herself for her anti-View snark of late, and Bits didn't do herself favors with that ridiculous "post View stress disorder" garbage a few weeks ago. Joy has wisely been gracious in her comments about the show since her departure.

No surprise there. 2 children and 1 adult were let go from The View, and they all handled it very differently. I'll let you guess who the children and adult are :)

She's at it again. Bitsy is "honoring" Chris Kyle by going "beast mode" on F&F this morning. No I did not watch, but this is according to her Twitter & Instagram. What is beast mode? Apparently it's doing some pushups. Because nothing says honoring vets like doing pushups. Oh wait, you can also run around Central Park waving a flag.

A few years ago, a few days before a 9/11 anniversary, Bitsy announced that she and her Team-Run-Triathalons were encouraging everyone to "honor" the military and the 9/11 victims by doing an hour of physical activity. When Joy asked how an hour on the elliptical helped *anyone* other than the person doing the exercise, Bitsy was a-humina-humina.

It's sweet that she's "honoring" Chris Kyle with her kettleballs, given how her husband protected our freedoms by riding various benches as an NFL journeyman while Kyle was in Iraq.

ETA: Okay, so this "beast mode" thing is supposed to be like the Ice Bucket Challenge where each time someone does it, they challenge someone to do it next. (It's unclear what the endgame is. "Help veterans."  How?)  Bitsy called out the Boston Red Sox to do it next. So far, dead silence from the Red Sox (even though many of her fans have tweeted to the team about her challenge.)

I would sooner solder my glutes to the sofa and eat gluten-crusted twinkies until my stomach bursts than honor Chris Kyle who is no hero to me. I would also dearly love to believe Elisabeth's heart is in the right place with respect to honoring our veterans, but everything she does comes across as shallow, crass and frankly suspect.

I'm honoring the veterans today by putting aside my diet and eating a handful of M&M's.  In honor of the veterans, of course.   I'm calling it the M&M challenge.  Are you up for it?   I challenge everyone here to eat M&M's.

OK - not everyone has M&M's - so eat a donut, a brownie, a half a box of cookies, drink a beer, whatever.   Do it for the veterans!

This is exactly the same as what she's doing. Exactly.

Has she ever given money to Wounded Warriors? Fisher House? The USO? Running marathons with returning vets (the ones who like to run marathons) can only help so much.

The only Beast Mode I know of is Beast Mode Cowboy from last year on Big Brother.

Hah! Same here.  Just found out its origin. (Turns out one of the guys in the video posted above was right. It's from some video game.

Heh. I hated everything about Beast Mode Cowboy from Day One until Amber was booted. After that something went wrong with my wiring and I was actually pulling for him to win. He was the strangest mix of bravado and naivete I've ever seen.

Back on topic, I can't really pinpoint why Elisabeth's patriotism rings so false. I admire the heck out of people like Gary Sinise and Tom Hanks and anyone, really, who honors the military in word and deed. I'm sure she does care, but for some reason it comes off as playing to the cameras and trying to be a good little FOX News soldier rather than anything sincere.

Ps. I just ate a zebra cake for the veterans! The second one will be for America!!!

Bitsy's "patriotism" rubs me the wrong way because when she was on the View - and probably even more so on Fox and Fiends- she equates "supporting the troops" with "supporting the war." There are lots of accounts of people coming back from Vietnam being treated poorly. To the extent they happened, it was shameful. But starting with Desert Storm and going forward, some very cynical people have exploited people's guilt and anger about that past into requiring full support of our military endeavors, without question, in order to be "patriotic."

She subscribes into an us versus them mentality, always has. No room for nuance. Her almost fanatical devotion to all things Chris Kyle lately is an example. Raise any question about the morality of shooting people, some if them unarmed civilians, with a scope rifle, and you're a selfish, anti-American liberal elitist. (and yes, there are some people who would argue that Kyle's actions were justified or necessary. But with Bitsy, there is NO room for argument.)

My difficulty with laBits is that she can't grasp that you can support the troops, and still think military action in any given situation might have been the wrong thing to pursue.  Did anyone confront her about Sen Coburn's blocking of the Clay Hunt Veteran Suicide Bill?  Does FauxSnooze even report on this scurrilous deed of his?

Good grief.....I saw a clip online and up pops Hanna Davis, on the cover of SI swimsuit issue during an interview with Fox and Friends.

I distinctly remember when Elisabeth Hassellbeck was on The View during her early years and said she would not allow Tim to look at it.....not even in the locker room with the football players.

Flash forward to today and she is smiling and laughing with Hannah and the boys and even says to HD  "you have certainly earned your success." I guess somehow EH now thinks it is very American and patriotic, lol. What a hypocritical phony.

Sherri is tweeting again- She shares her love for a show about Big Women on Lifetime.

http://www.sherrishepherd.com/index.html

She really needs social media help! (my son could help her)...

Information on her official website is extremely old and out of date

Her Facebook page is filled with porn videos posted by others and a lot of negative posts

and there is a second Facebook page under the name Sherri Evonne (not sure if she is the one that did this)

As for Elisabeth and the SI swimsuit edition-

A flashback to her view on Erin Andrews on DWTS:

but the SI cover is fine?

http://video.foxnews.com/v/4042524543001/fox-flash-hannah-davis/?playlist_id=930909787001#sp=show-clips

Fox shows the video from the cover shoot and the controversial cover (Today Show did not)

Was Elisabeth going to touch Hannah during the interview? (while discussing her dress) lol

Edited to add the Erin Andrews/ Elisabeth DWTS story quote and link

That article! A Brownie troop learning about social injustice and racism! And Bitsy says this troop isn't "selling cookies or learning to sew". Bitsy is stuck in the 1950's.

Except with fake boobs.

And thanks for the link to the Newshounds site. I couldn't stop reading! Bitsy is certainly at home in her new job!

I found that Newshound site to be as biased as they say Fox news is. I probably will not add Newshound to my favorites list but  I read the Conservative Black Chick all the time.

Fox News States as their mission that they present a fair and balanced report of the news.

Newshounds has, as their mission, to expose that Fox News does NOT present fair and balanced reporting.

Newshounds is not a site that REPORTS the news, it is basically an extended blog exposing the biases and lies of Fox News. So to say the site is "just as biased" doesn't make sense.

If I'm reporting the NEWS, I should do it without bias or political leaning.

If I'm stating my OPINION of how the news is reported, well, yeah, how do you leave bias out of opinion?

I wonder if this is the result of when Bitsy was out for some sort of 'minor surgery' last fall?  She was very quiet about her condition, which is of course fine - medical issues are private.  But boob jobs are going to 'come out' one way or another, lol.

I'm confused. I read the article and see the small picture at the top but what's the discussion about Bitsy's boobs? They look the same to me, even in that pic where she's wearing yellow. Is there another picture or video I'm missing?

Rosie turned off the Ask Ro feature, and she never answered my Q about what type of gum she likes to chew while on live TV.

I don't blame her for turning it off. I'm sure she got an overload of high blood pressure enduing questions after announcing her departure.

She was quiet when she was out but when she returned she explained that she had a cancer scare and had to have surgery.

Backformore,  Full disclosure: I am a terrible debater and will loose every debate, even when I am right. Haha. I don't like sites that twist the right, nor do I like sites that twist the left.  I understood that the linked site was a site to ferret out bias at Fox News. But it didn't just say what the neutral news should be, it gave a left leaning view of what the news should be. So I don't really see why right leaning news is bad, but left leaning news is good. Their opinion is that the news should present their view, not the other view. And I don't waste time on those kinds of sites. No worries.

No worries here, believe me. But you completely misrepresented what I posted. A NEWS show and a blog are not the same.

A website devoted to pointing out lies is opinion, and presented as opinion. (Not news)

Their point is that Fox News is ALSO opinion, but dressed up and presented as NEWS.

A NEWS show, on tv, has a different responsibility to present actual NEWS than a blog or website which is not pretending to give an unbiased account of the news.

I realize this is off topic now, so I can be done with it. Unless my words are misrepresented, in which case I will continue to explain my meaning.

I took the blog to be a left leaning blog, that twists what is reported on the Fox News Channel to further their left leaning perspective and I don't really bother with those kinds of sites,

I don't understand why teaching young black girls about social justice and that Black Lives Matter would be considered 'left leaning'. Shouldn't that be what people of all political stripes aspire to?
