That poor girl who got a breast reduction & had her breasts totally destroyed. How can any doctor do that? They looked much better afterward, but they still did not look normal. The nipples were way too high, & she really had a lot of scarring.

I was shocked at her breasts. How was she not living off millions that she won from suing the doctor that butchered her? That's what happened in my head. Her new breasts obviously looked better but good lord, Terry, those nipples were on her collarbones.

It's hilarious that we can see necrotic flesh but not nipples. And we can see tattooed nipples, but only once!

The Norwegian(?) lady (I don't know; I blacked out after hearing her "song") reminded me so much of "Frenchie". Real "Botched" and VH1 OGs know who I'm talking about. What a shitshow. I loved how Paul got out of giving her a nose job.

Boxer guy had an enormous improvement. His whole face looked better. Ten bucks says he's going back in the ring next week, though.

The work on the woman with no septum was really interesting. We have a neighbor who worked as a prosthetics specialist with the VA years ago. That fake lower nose was amazingly convincing.

I would like to have heard an explanation of that from Terry- she was very young, but I can't believe the new boobs are going to droop enough to bring those nipples down to a normal position any time soon. I notice she was wearing rather high necklines in her 'after' appearances (which is unheard of for this show), probably because she'd risk a nip slip even in a modest scoop neck.

I'm glad the ex-boxer can breathe, but I didn't really see any big difference in how he looked.

I agree, her nipples were much too high, but that is where her nipples were after that botched surgery.   Terry saved/used as much of her real nipples as possible.  Since she had her real nipples, or parts of them, Terry didn’t have much choice as to location.  You can raise nipples with minimal scarring, but you can’t lower them without significant scarring.

I wanted them to address whether or not the young girl would be able to breastfeed if she retained her nipple?  Man, her breasts were totally ruined.

Unlikely, but never can tell...I would think there is still time to file a huge malpractice suit on her previous doctor....but they take years to settle. I used to do medical chart extraction for expert witnesses in malpractice suits. Interesting work.

At the very least, that dr. should lose his or her license!

I’m glad they are including more people who just need help (the girl who was hit by a drunk driver) rather than people who want outrageous things for vanity’s sake.

I agree. Even the patient they didn’t operate on was deserving and I hope will be on next season.

New (today) to THIS forum (very old to the site).  I cannot watch Dr. Dubrow without remarking (to myself, mostly) about his bizarre new cosmetic surgery.  Does he not see how BAD he looks?  Is that the look he wanted? CHEEKS?

It's a good thing Dr. Nasiff isn't the sarcastic asshole his partner is.

Photo is BEFORE most recent surgery...but AFTER new choppers.

Right.  It was funny that the show did not blur her nipples.

If "she" hasn't transitioned, then it's okay to show a male's nipples.

Weird, huh?

It might depend on what state she lives in.  Some states with tort reform have limits on what people can win in malpractice cases, which in turn, means that tort lawyers don't take cases.  (The podcast, "Dr. Death" gives a great explanation and examples of this).

I also was disgusted by the cartel person. She had no class and just wanted to be on TV. The show needs to ditch these weirdos and take care of people who need it. And Dubrow needs to stop picking on Dr. Nassif. Its boring and child-like.

I agree.  For some reason there's a requirement to insult the viewers in the name of edutainment.

100%  The doctors need some focus groups to learn what parts of their show are so distasteful.

Nassif seems so nice and professional--very appealing.  I don't understand how he can stand to be in this partnership.  Dubrow is the only person who thinks he's funny.  He's so desperate, he's getting creepier.  I'll post the next thing Dubrow comment separately.

Apparently Dr. Dubrow's most recent cosmetic surgeon isn't a fan.  His face...EGAD!

But wait!  That mug is beginning to match his cruel/bullying/unfunny personality.  His worst shtick yet was his imitation of an Asian martial arts character.

I agree too, and can’t stand those people. The trouble is, from a show production standpoint, those people who just come in for the consultation are a low cost time filler that require zero effort from the doctors.

I do wonder if there is any part of the audience that actually likes those cases.

I'm not a fan of those cases (and that girl last night was beyond trashy with her filthy mouth - she was so beautiful and yet ewwwww), but at least she was smart enough to understand the consequences of questionable plastic surgery (and I guess even Daddy wouldn't fit close to $100,000 worth of procedures for her butt).  It does fascinate me to what lengths that people will go to change their body - kind of like watching a tattoo show for me.

The wonky boobed woman. If I heard correctly she didn't realized the "dr" was a "dentist" until after her surgery? WTH?

I was glad they were fixable but they were a bit uneven still.

The funny thing was, it seemed the dentist didn’t do too bad a job. It was subsequent surgeries with other Drs. (I think) that were the problem, including the counterfeit implants.

All of this is general and not meant as legal advice, just a sketch of what happens in CA. There are all kinds of nuances and particularities in every case, so see your own lawyer if you have one of these situations!

Yep. I can only speak for California, but in CA we have had what is known as the "MICRA cap" which limits the "pain and suffering" type damages that can be recovered in a malpractice case.  Currently it is $250,000, an amount that has not changed since the 80s. Imagine this happening to you, or you know, the wrong leg being amputated, or one of your lungs being accidentally removed, and while you could get your subsequent medical bills and lost wages paid, you can only receive $250,000 for the trauma of that.  It is only the result of a powerful medical industry lobby in CA.

As for the statute of limitations, again, I can only speak to California generally, but the Statute of Limitations for medical malpractice is one year of the patient discovering the injury or within three years of the date that injury occurred—whichever comes first.  So, for all of these people waking up and realizing something was horribly wrong, generally that would start their SOL running. The doctor telling them it is fine and not to worry may give them some leeway.

So, a shady doctor can literally cut off your nose and you have one year to file a lawsuit against him/her, and your "pain and suffering" damages are limited to a 1980s amount of $250k (present value about $700k).

Back squarely on topic, I'm shocked at how much I like Dr. Nassif (I didn't get the best impression when he was on RHOC--an unhappy marriage will do that to you). He actually seems very kind, and is obviously very, very skillful.  I actually even like Terry, but I could really do without his talking heads insulting Paul. They're just irritating and don't add anything to the show. But, you know, sometimes plastic surgeons have more of a God Complex than even other surgeons, because they're improving on "god's creation." I think Terry might fit into this category. He sure makes more money than god. Regardless of anything else, I respect their honesty with their patients or prospective patients.

One thing that perplexes me is the reveal that the doctors actually do have a method they would use to enhance butts.  How come they always shoo away anyone that wants a larger butt, saying that implants are illegal, when they do seem willing to perform BBLs and can even add that amino thing (ok, expensive) to make the fat stay?

Also, I was disturbed to see Dubrow basically fondling that woman. Too handsy, Doctor.  Then telling her to get into a bikini and show off at the beach...  gross.

I agree with everything, XTWheeler.  I can't find ANYTHING negative about Dr. Nassif.  He seems sweet, funny, and kind.  He takes more shit from Dubrow than any other man would.  His recent marriage is seven years AFTER his only divorce...and the first marriage lasted only seven years: interesting. My only explanation for Dubrow's "personality" is that he is the younger brother who just never measured up and he uses his pathetic "humor" (aka bullying) to get attention.  And his recent plastic surgery is AWFUL.

I think the teasing Dr Nassif thing is all for show. It ‘s just a shtick the doctors do to add some levity to the storyline. I like both doctors but I actually think Nassif is the one who is a narcissistic and thinks he is hot because he can get young girls to date him. Terry is the typical husband of a real housewife.

Well, Dr. Nassif has now gotten one of those young girls (I think she might be in her 30s) to marry him, so he's off the market (at least for now).  honestly I just fast forward when the "banter" gets too obnoxious - these guys are artists in their chosen field and that's what I watch the show for.  I think they honestly want to make their clients feel better and enjoy the challenge of correcting the atrocities that other surgeons have created.

I mean, there were people who were on the show for work or tagged along with their friend who threw themselves at him on camera. So, it wouldn't be surprising if he got an outsized impression of his appeal. But he generally seems like a nice, if slightly arrogant, guy. I guess if he wants to date and marry hot, young things, well, he isn't the first guy to do so and you have to censure the women too if they are looking at his money and fame first over personality and compatibility.

I did say I liked both doctors but in earlier seasons Nassif spent a lot of time talking about his looks and the hot babes he was dating. I think talking about your looks a lot leaves you ripe for teasing , which is what Terry does. And yes I do judge mean in their 50’s who think women their age are not good enough . I would feel the same about a 50 year old woman who insisted she deserved a 22 year old. I know rich men do it all the time but I still judge them for it. I don’t judge the 22 year old women because it’s not their place to tell the guys to date someone older but I wouldn’t want my daughter marrying a man more than twice her age either.

In general I’m not cool with the culture of disregarding women when they reach a certain age. As a TV personality, Nassif is ok but I don’t find him morally superior to Dubrow.

I thought Dr. Dubrow was the one who started the continual comments (jokes?) about Dr. Nassif and younger women.  Joked about his car.  Joked about his nose job(s).  I felt he ridiculed him (in the guise of jokes) on every show...and Nassif just took it.  I don't remember any bragging (but I'm OLD).

Dr. Dubrow's face looks weird.  Any more facial surgeries and I will say that he has body dismorphia.

Yet, he keeps that awful, bulbous, clown like nose that practically reaches down to his lip. I don't get it. The nose should have been first on his list, leave the rest of his face alone. I'm sure Dr. Nassif could help him out in that department.

I don't think I could've felt more disgust for the woman whining about her "too small" breast size after having 32(!!!) surgeries on her breasts. She's lucky to still have breasts at this point. Terry didn't do that great of a job, but I guess at that point, he did his best with the mess he was left with. She still had symnastia, and her breasts were misshapen, just less than before.

Plus, talk about number obsessed.  She couldn't seem to get it through her thick skull that she didn't have 1,500 ccs to begin with, so having 500 ccs now wasn't a 2/3rds reduction.  And her breasts were still huge.

I hope the kid with the ear deformity doesn't have any further keloid issues.

Boob reduction lady and the motorcycle crash lady are the ones for whom I watch this show - the first lady truly was botched and the second lady bore the scars both externally and emotionally from an accident and both truly needed assistance.  Neither got a perfect result but they were so much improved that they were very happy.

I don't think my breasts were ever perky - they went from non-existent to ginormous seemingly overnight.  I have always wanted a reduction but after seeing her experience I might just live with my breasts (and it's not like anybody else sees them...LOL!).

Every week I feel like the over the top case is the worst one ever, and that holds true for this week.  There was a ton of makeup or edits done on her photos (or both) because she looked almost nothing like ScarJo in person but a lot like her in pics.  I really could have lived my life without ever seeing the fruit loops bath in a kiddy pool.  Thanks show.

I had a reduction about 15 years ago and was thrilled with the result...full C and lifted.   There were scars ,but I heal pretty well.   Nd the best part... no cost because I was DD and they were hurting my back.  (Gotta love Ontario healthcare)

That girl was so shallow and stupid she doesn't even register on the IQ scale...not a shred of sense...Her boyfriend is just as stupid, as well as selfish, if they were indulging in multiple sex episodes per day within a week of her surgery. No wonder her incision separated.
Breast reduction mom was very happy...when the scars fade she will be ecstatic. The motorcycle accident victim got a very good result. Dr. Nassif may be able to more for her later on if she chooses, but certainly isn't necessary.
