Blah.  Didn't like it. There's enough relationship shit, good or bad, that's could elsewhere.  The whole premise is the Seven Yr sitch.  That if a couple splits, it's by year seven...yada yada. Blah.

I was more curious if Terry & Heather were going to talk about what issues they went through.  I've heard rumors over the years about them and wondered if those were true, but they didn't give much info about themselves other than some typical marital stuff that can come up with a lot of couples.  Again, I won't be watching any future episodes of this show.  Once was enough!!  We did get to see inside of their fabulous house though!

I think they touched on it briefly, but no details. And that because of those said problems they overcame , they're the perfect therapists to fix your problems.  *irony*

Just caught up on the other half of S7...started late here in Australia.

Methinks Jessica Alves (ex Rodrigo) once again didn't listen to the Drs about not getting the boobs done...they clearly seem bigger in recent photos....just like back then, he didn't listen about no further nose surgery.

And for the love of God, no more fruit loops seeking out plastic surgery to get bigger boobs, smaller noses and bigger lips.  I wished they'd do another Botched by Nature series.

So I forgot to ask about the nipples question (besides it is probably months and months before I get to that point) but as I was sitting at the plastic surgeon's office last Thursday watching him explain the entire process to me I was thinking to myself "I have heard all this before on Botched."  I kept that to myself though - wasn't sure whether he would find that insulting...LOL!  It kind of was amazing though how much I had retained from watching multiple episodes of Botched and listening to Dr. Dubrow talk about his surgeries.  You never know what you are going to learn from reality television (for instance, knowing how to pronounce Kiev from watchin episodes of 90 Day Fiance).

The tummy tuck lady came out very well. She had a great attitude  and I'm glad for her success. The "pig nose" lady looked a lot better too, but she shouldn't be touching her nose all the time because I think Dr. Nassif said in a previous show it can take many months for the nose to settle down. And of course, there is always a freak show moment like the gal with the huge boobs. I knew as soon as I saw her the docs were not going to do anything to those ginormous boobs except to warn her to leave them alone. And that guy that was with her looked nothing like Freddy Mercury!

These 2 need therapy. WTF. Freakshow  for sure

Last week I binge-watched a bunch of episodes that I had missed from a few seasons ago, and it reminded me that there's a very definite pattern to this show: two actual patients and one what I call the "clown patient." The first two get the surgery and the clown gets the bum's rush. The clown might not even really want the procedure at all, just the TV exposure.

There was something uncanny valley about the freak show woman's eyes. I guess it was contacts but I couldn't quite figure it out.

I will say, I didn't mind her once she got into the exam room. I prefer the over-the-top folks who are quite open about being in it for the money and that they will push it as far as they can for as long as they can until the profit dries up. I don't love what it says about society, but it's better than the creepy, flirty, baby voiced crew.

I hope Face Lift Lady continues to use sunblock on that face or else all of Dr Nassif's work will turn into a leathery mess. Dr Dubrow did a lovely job on Failed Mommy Makeover Woman but boy, she has the worst posture I have ever seen. Completely round shouldered! And the post-surgery blonde hair did her no favors either. I noticed the bad posture in the before picture too so I guess she just never developed the habit of standing up straight. Fast forwarded through the Freak so I have no opinion on her.

I think that was a new episode last night? Terrible boob job and pig nose on a double lung transplant patient? Both ended up very much improved. I felt so much sympathy for the lung lady, she has been through hell.

Freak of the night Skittles was the stuff of nightmares. He looked like a pink, puffy version of the scary clown from 'It'. I found it interesting that his 2 side pieces were very normal looking, no blown-up bits or crazy body modification.

The dark haired friend had visibly large lips, but not nearly the size of Skittles'.  I kind of missed what he said though, he has a lot of sugar daddies??  Do guys (straight or other) go for his type?

Unless Skittles has special talents, sugar daddies can do way better than Skittles.

Caught this last night. Nose lady came out a bit better even tho her nose still kind of looked the same. I hope it improves over time, since she has been through a lot. Boob lady looked better too, even tho I thought she looked fine before. I guess I don't understand these women that want huge boobs, I noticed her friends at the beach had fake boobs too. And don't get me started on Skittles-even tho he did a good job on losing the weight those lips were scary as was the rest of him. Have the docs ever helped someone that had too much filler and their lips exploded? His looked like they were going to just give up and blow out. Who finds this attractive? People with fetishes? I wish they would leave the freaks out of the show and help someone who needs it.

Finally, two serious cases and no famewhores looking for camera time! More of this, please!! The final takeaway from these women is WEAR SUNBLOCK and DON'T GO TO MEXICO FOR BREAST SURGERY. Yikes, as a redhead with pale skin and all the markers for skin cancer, the first patient's case gave me the heebie-jeebies. I count my lucky stars I live in New England and stay out of the sun as much as possible because I would be a complete recluse if I had that kind of damage. Horrifying! The other woman's situation was less terrifying because, girl, nobody *needs* to see *all* your cleavage. But I am glad she had good results and that she and her hubby were back in a good place. Even if she's never going to be able to retire because she spent her retirement funds on herself.

Yeah, the show became highly formulaic to me and that's the main reason I quit watching. I also got tired of DuBrow's jabes at the other doctor.

Oh, yeah, this for sure! Most of them aren't even funny, and I can't imagine why he would want to be perceived as such a mean asshole. On the other hand, Nassif seems totally unbothered by it, so if it's not a problem for him, I don't know why it should bug me. But it does.

I still watch, but now I know exactly where/what to fast-forward.

That was LAME from the beginning.  I don't know WHO enjoys those tired UNFUNNY comments.  I watched the Real Housewives shows when Nasiff's wife was a featured player.  She made cruel comments to/about him--until the divorce! He's probably just a secure enough guy who takes it and comes out the winner.

I think the new season debuted last Thursday during the various outages here; I assume that's why there were no comments?

The only thing notable last week was the 'pretty good, I guess' job they did on a young woman who'd been in an accident. Her eye had been severely disfigured and they were able to at least get it fairly symmetrical with the other one and repair the bottom part (her eye leaked). There was also a very good boob job repair on an older lady, as well as the usual weird person who wants the world's biggest (fill in the body part).

There's a new show on tonight, I think.

I thought the team (not just Nassif) did as good a job on that poor girl as could be expected. You could tell she had been in an accident, but her face no longer looked painful and she and her parents were so much happier. I don't know why the other woman had such huge knockers bolted onto her newly skinny frame. Asking for trouble, IMO. Then did DuBrow actually put in new funbags that were almost as big? I thought he would have gone for smaller ones just to give him more skin to work with. Thank God I don't live with the mindset that women have to disfigure themselves for male attention. I got my huge (natural) breasts reduced a few years ago and have never regretted it!

Yep... the jokes get old, but it's their schtick.

Tiresome schtick that seems to take more and more of my time.  Dr. Dubrow is so irritating; I wonder if he's difficult to live with or if Mrs. Dubrow keeps him in check.  Poor guy needs to stick with one hair color and make sure it's IMPECCABLE for filming. At least his most recent cosmetic surgery/ies have calmed down. I have only the best things to say about sweet, patient Dr. Nassif.

The most interesting thing was seeing that old pic of Nassif's original nose.

The hollow-butt repair was pretty good. I got sick of the woman saying 'more cushion for the pushin' in front of her mother over and over, though.

The nose job girl was soooo pretty; I hope her parents got the money for the repair from the insurance of the first surgeon. I could maybe see some excuse if the guy was just a specialist in internal nose surgery (she originally went in for a deviated septum), but that doesn't explain why he would do a rhinoplasty which he clearly didn't have the skills for.

'Wants to look like a 45 year old mob wife' girl was pathetic, really. You need attention THAT bad? Would be interested to find out if she survives her next attempt at messing up her body, given that she has heart failure (!)  Her boyfriend was very cute, surely he could do better.

Well I thought the poor accident girl came out pretty well. I like that when the docs know they need help they dont hesitate to call in a specialist to help out. Her eye wasn't perfect but she did look better. What was up with lip guy? He wanted his upper lip to cover his nose? Yikes! And the MILF wanna-be with the huge boobs-I think she must have trouble with her posture trying to carry those huge bazongas around not to mention back pain. The lady with no booty was a real mess-but she did those injections when people didn't know what was in them or what could happen down the road. Her result was pretty good all things considered. Also not a surprise that Dr. Nassif had a nose job when he was younger. Many Middle Eastern people get them almost as a right of passage when they are in their late teens.

I don't care that it was in front of her mother, the doctors, and/or us.  It's a stooopid phrase that just ain't funny.  AND if something IS funny, use it once.  Only.

Mob wife?  I thought she said she wanted to look like a Calabasas MILF.  Was it both?

Oh, man, I feel for that poor woman who lost her entire upper lip from one round of filler. I mean, she's more functional now, but still looks pretty rough.

She was a classic illustration of the old adage that "the perfect is the enemy of the good." She was so pretty in her before photos. But she had a very loving and supportive husband. Not sure how most partners would hold up if their spouse had such a disaster.

The Brit mother and daughter were completely delusional.

Poor lip lady. Even after all of the surgeons' hard work and...ick...lip leeches...ICK...she was still so damaged. Felt so bad for her and for what? Trans man was cute, but I did think his nips were oddly placed. But more power to him, he was so cheerful and determined. Don't even know what the freaks we're looking for, fast forwarded through their segments.

Well, the trans guys chest and tummy looked a lot better. He was a really pleasant man to work with. I hope he finds happiness in his new life. Poor lip lady-what a mess! I think the team did their best but she only looked a little improved-and they did all that under local numbing? Yikes! Maybe they can do another revision after she heals up. As far as the Brits go, they were pretty sad-one with an implant that was flipped?? and she needed to get a new wig-the blonde one didn't sit on her head well at all. And who cares if your butt is "flat" mine is too (and so was my mom's and sisters). I don't really care about it as long as it can fit into my pants! LOL!

Both revisions last night were really good- the woman who (among other things) was missing an ear, and the woman with a huge divot out of her tummy from lipo.

I don't think I heard any explanation of the ear lady's full problem, just she was born without the ear. But she had had 103 surgeries, and her face was very asymmetrical. Due to previous problems with her breathing, they had to do the revision with only local anesthesia, which seemed pretty amazing to me.

The lipo girl had certainly been savaged by the surgeon, but I did think it was odd that she claimed she went through the whole ordeal 'with no one'. She didn't have any relative or friend who could help? Since they revealed that the surgeon was no longer in business, I hope he either went bankrupt or lost his medical insurance (or both).

I think they said the ear lady was born without part of her jawbone, too, which was the cause of the asymmetry, but they didn’t fully explain her condition.

Pretty good show last night. Even the person in the traditional wacko slot was better than usual.

They said the ear lady was born with two serious medical conditions, one of which was Goldenhar syndrome. I didn't catch the other one before deleting the recording (but I think it may be microtia). I thought the ear reconstruction was very impressive--and of course it's wonderful she now has hearing on that side. I did think, though, that her face actually looked more asymmetrical after the surgery, but that may be a matter of the healing process still being incomplete. She seemed like a very lovely and intelligent person. I wish her all the best.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about her. She was actually likeable, although I was having a hard time imagining her in a construction job, even if her dad did own the company. And not just the boobs-which really weren't all that noticeable without that weird 'bra' she was wearing- but also the crazy inflated lips.

SO TIRED.

  1. So tired of DuBrow
  2. His cosmetic surgery has finally calmed down.
  3. He's NOT funny.
  4. AT ALL!
  5. Nassif takes everything with such a good nature.
  6. Nassif is BETTER LOOKING than DuBrow...any day.
  7. Proud of Dr. Nassif for being able to work with that jerk.

That poor girl who got a huge whole-body infection just from some kind of vitamin(?) injection administered by a quack- her scarring reminded me of old photos of smallpox victims. I appreciated her willingness to accept responsibility, her fighting sprit/courage, and her calm, determined approach. I hope they can help her surgically at some point.

The woman with the cleft nose also had a great attitude. Hope this gives her the push she needs to do something about that 50 BMI.

Even the 'freak of the week' Tyler was pretty sympathetic. He's rejecting that weirdo Justin's Ken Doll fixation, and is actually planning to go to school to become a nurse.

I have to admit, Dubrow has great arms.
