Gigi was one once. The Gerber kid still fits in that niche. But poor Anwar I just do not see it. He looks nice enough in candid or even red carpet pics. But he tries to be all Mr. Model Man and ends up looking like the secret love child of Boris Yeltsin and a Russian hand model. Oh, Charlize started as a model. The others, like Angelina Jolie, Liv Tyler were models first, but had famous parents. But none of them were of super model status like Gigi is. That will either work for her or against her. It all depends if she has any acting talent. Gisele, who is a super model, didn't translate well on film. But that could have had more to do with her accent. NewDigs July 17, 2016 Share July 17, 2016 Bill Murray has some less than kind things to say about MacDowell's talents. The making of, the imho classic, Groundhog Day she was less than smooth. She had real difficlties with her lines. One scene she kept botching was a scene in which he ate something over and over and... I think more than 20 takes. I'm pretty sure it was that cafe scene.
