Way back when she moved him in, UBT decreed that any communication with Nathan had to go through him. They were standing in the yard of the house she was renting when he chased Barb out for wanting to see Jenelle when she was locked in the bedroom.

I remember that scene. But since the court hearing when Nathan requested and received the order that only he and Jenelle should communicate with one another re Kaiser, I just figured she would communicate through her phone. Nathan should not be receiving any texts from Dumb Fuck 2 at all. Going by Nathan's girlfriend's post, it reads as though DF2 is texting directly to Nathan, not that Jenelle is texting him. Nathan could inform the courts that he is blocked from talking directly to Jenelle and by her going through DF2's phone, it causes this sort of shit to happen.

That poor child's head. I wonder if it's fixable after Jenelle let it go uncorrected for so long?

Sadly, I can attest to the fact that no hat will make that right. Putting a hat on a giant head is reminiscent of Chris Farley’s fat man in a little suit, but less funny. (In my mom’s defense, it was the early 70s and head shape was not a thing.)

Hell no!  Not to mention I’m sure that area is snake infested.  But Dumb Fuck #2 knows best.  HE IS ONE WITH NATURE.  So don’t you try to tell him about it.

And also, it didn't look like there was much movement to that muddy water.  So I am thinking it is heavy with bacteria issues?  Ya know how you are  not supposed to go swimming in lakes after heavy rains, etc (not saying as a kid I always followed this advice, but it is more talked about now)?  Well wouldn't this area pictured be even worse?

Totally agree 1000%.  Hope the little egg head is up on her tetanus.

It looks like stagnant , unmoving water.  Someone said it was Cape Fear River and that it was near the paper mill so it’s full of chemicals. Leave it to Jenelle to let her daughter play in that.  Look how green it is near Jenelle’s foot.

EWWWWW! Fucking gross!

Maybe I am weird, but I am not sure that is the kind of area I would be running around barefoot.

Yeah, the water those kids play in always seems so nasty...and I bet the assholes consider that playtime, "bath time" as well.

Fucking gross!

Pretty much sums up my feelings about these DumbFucks!

I have mixed feelings on the picture. I used to go mucking about in the woods with my friends all the time as a kid and came away unscathed, but I don't know if I'd let a baby play in such grimy water. On the spectrum of Jenelle's shitty parenting it's not the worst thing she's ever done, but probably not the brightest either.

Cosign. It just looks so gross, even for Jenelle & UBT to be mucking around in, but on the spectrum of how disgusting they are in so many other areas, definitely not the worst thing they do! :-)

Also, I do not care for Jenelle's bikini. Did Maria Von Trapp come to the LAND & make that shit out of curtains?

When I was real young, we would often visit a relative's ranch in Fresno, up in central California. This relative lived on this land where they had grape fields and other kind of crops nearby. There were water-filled canals in close proximity. There is this photo of my brother when he was four years old as he swam in one of those canals. This was back in 1959. God knows what chemicals and other shit was in that water. The difference is, we live in a different era where we know better.

The other thing that bothers me about that swamp water that DF #1 allows her kids in is, are the kind of creatures that happen to be in or near that water. I imagine snakes and other creatures that could be dangerous. Wouldn't there be crocodiles in that water?

I think it is a terrible thing for them to teach those kids that the water they are allowed to play in is safe. Dumb Fucks are not about car safety, and for sure they have no cares about gun safety. They don't even have a fence around the pool. Do we think these two have taught the kids to be cautious around the swamp water? Hell to the no! I can see DFs letting those kids be without any life vests and not teaching them about the different creatures in and around the water and how to be safe.

Gators maybe, not so likely but it’s kind of possible.  As I mentioned up thread for sure snakes.  I’ve been swamping in the same round about area before and there were snakes literally everywhere.  Huge ones.

And beyond all that.  Good luck keeping a toddler from drinking in all that sess po water.

I was thinking they don't wash that baby's hands after she has been in that sludge. For sure they don't bathe her afterwards. Imagine the shit on her hands that eventually goes into her mouth? Ewww.

Hell I can’t keep my 10 year old from taking in who knows how much pool water daily. That’s what grossed me out the most!  But then again I’m sure they can just holler at her and swat at her to stop.

Also, I think Jenelle’s swim suit has a cute print but looks uncomfortable and ill fitting as usual.  Why doesn’t the material look like normal stretchy swim suit material (spandex)??

It doesn't bother me. I'm one of those weirdos that thinks regular dirt exposure is GOOD for you, and that shoes are too restrictive. :) Jenelle does a million and one other shitty things, so I'll let the playing barefoot in the river thing go. Looks fun, to me!

My father was a shoe repairman and an orthopedic specialist. Foot care was a big thing in our home growing up. He taught us that children wearing shoes is not a good thing. Children's feet need to feel different types of sensations such as sand, concrete, carpet, floors, etc. to help muscle development and it actually helps toddlers who are learning to walk to keep their heads straight up instead of tilted down. In Eggsley's case, I am sure her head droops down due to its size.

This is just one source that backs up what my late father taught us: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2010/aug/09/barefoot-best-for-children

The feedback they get from the ground means there is less need to look down, which is what puts them off balance and causes them to fall down." Walking barefoot, she continues, develops the muscles and ligaments of the foot, increases the strength of the foot's arch, improves proprioception (our awareness of where we are in relation to the space around us) and contributes to good posture.

I am all about letting kids be kids and getting dirty, playing in the mud, being adventurous and doing all the things I enjoyed doing when I was young. I hope that point wasn't missed when we all commented about the look of the water and the deadly snakes that are nearby. But do we honestly think the adults are with Kaiser and Eggsley the whole time they are near that water? Only when it is time to capture a photo do they appear as attentive parents. Those are just photo ops, nothing more.

When it was pointed out how much fun that swing Dumb Fuck #2 made for the kids looked, it was mentioned that he made something dangerous and the kids were not wearing safety helmets, etc. It was basically a death trap. Now, playing in mucky water and sludge could be a fun experience with catching small fish and and such, but does anyone else think those two Dumb Fucks are properly watching the kids when they are done taking those phony "family" photos? After watching last night's episode and seeing how those two lose their patience over the kids, and I assume, can't bother to ever check in on them when they are playing outside, does it seem safe to teach the kids to be around any body of water? We know DF#1 and #2 won't monitor them and those kids will likely go to the water when the so-called parents are high and drunk.

I 100% agree with your father.

I was just commenting on my own opinion that the water didn't gross me out.

I would absolutely agree with others that neither of those DumbFucks properly watch their children, and water safety is definitely not something that's even on the radar.

But to the comments about the water looking "gross" or "unhealthy"....I just wasn't bothered by it.

And, honestly, at this point - the kids would probably be safer if they WEREN'T being supervised by either of those morons. They yell at the them for the most ridiculous of infractions, but clearly don't pay attention when she is serious. I think they'd probably fare just fine, running wild in the woods by themselves. LOL!

I still walk around my yard barefoot as an adult.  Now that I’m older I do wear water shoes at the lake or river. But the rivers we go to do not look like that.  It look dirty and black.  We know they aren’t watching the kids or what they could possibly step on.  Snakes have been every where this summer.  I’ve seen 3 at my dad’s house in the last month. And in one week 2 alligators were found in pastures! Here in little NE Texas that doesn’t really have alligators.  ??‍♀️ Now I gotta watch out for snakes and alligators.  Eeeek We know they aren’t watching for that kind of stuff.

? You are absolutely right.

The wild creatures and animals would do a better job at caring for those kids. ?

NC does have water moccasins, which are poisonous but not very aggressive, apparently, but I know I was scared of the creek out back of the neighbor's house across the street because supposedly someone had seen them there.  Also, I always hated, as a child, the squishiness of the bottoms of lakes and rivers, compared to beaches and pools.  Still, my major concern about the out of doors around there is that it's a rather squalid-looking bit of outdoors. It's depressing. If that's what Ensley thinks all of nature looks like, she may want to be a city girl when she grows up.
