Palomar June 26, 2014 Share June 26, 2014 (edited) I thought Savi was in love with Dom...enough to divorce her husband, sell the house, etc. But apparently she is about to make another impulsive decision to start something with Zach. You would think she would see the danger for one thing in having a relationship with him. And of course when the inevitable happens when Josh and Harry get together she will be royally pissed. Karen hasn't had enough drama in her life so now she wants to find true love as an escort. It sure doesn't take much to put one over on April, first a fake death by her husband and now her new guy hiding most likely a wife or some kind of criminal behavior. It's pretty sad when Josh now seems to be the smartest of the bunch. Edited June 26, 2014 by Palomar 1 Link to comment
waving feather June 27, 2014 Share June 27, 2014 Karen needs help. I shudder to think that she gives mental health help to patients when she herself is so screwed up. She seems to always want to dive into the most dangerous and stupidest things. She's taking advice from her patient who recently just attempted suicide on how to have fun?! And the scary thing is none of her friends know how screwed up she is. I like Joss. I like Harry. And I would love them together. In a real life situation, I would find it absolutely icky if they got together. I can never imagine taking my sister's second hand like that. But I can suspend logic for this show and I like the two characters together. Harry and Savi don't fit because she doesn't know how to handle his sulky side. But Joss is able to lighten him up and he is able caution her more impulsive side. They bring out the best in each other. I can just pretend Savi doesn't exist. Speaking of Savi, it's still creepy of car crash victim guy to seek her out at her home. Couldn't he called or emailed first to ask if she's comfortable with meeting up for a coffee instead of coming to her house like some sort of stalker? And she's even entertaining him now?! She clearly isn't that into Dom because she doesn't even bother being honest with him. Once a cheater, always a cheater I guess. Good luck, Dom! That's what you get when you get together as a result of a cheating situation. April is as boring as ever. I doubt anyone is interested in her storylines. Link to comment
catrice2 June 28, 2014 Share June 28, 2014 (edited) Well at least karen going from one bad situation to another is consistent with the English series of the same name. The doctor on that show was a hot mess as well, and they eventually blamed it on her having daddy issues. I understand being lonely, but you don't go from just being lonely too going out picking up men in a bar. she does however, get the best clothes! the part of the dom was always miscast on the show, it may have worked with a different actor. the way that he plays the character is wrong. I see no chemistry with savvi and anybody that they've had on the show so far. Boris Kodjoe or someone like that would have been a better choice I like that they didn't stick with all of the same story lines, the somehow they manage to make the ones that they have even dumber than the ones that were in the original series, and the actors are not as good. I've noticed the giving an animal plot in a lot of books and shows& I always thought that it was over hyped and over romanticized. As someone mentioned you just don't give an animal to somebody not knowing what their schedule is,finances , allergies and if they have the ability to take care of a animal that's just stupid. is Joss still living with savi? If so won't they both have to find somewhere new to live when the house is sold? what if it is not pet friendly? I could care less about April's boyfriend, & I do think that they rushed into the bratty daughter storyline.are we to assume that she doesn't talk to the dead husband? Talk to text! Sorry for errors. karewho June 30, 2014 Share June 30, 2014 I didn't watch the first season only this one and I can't imagine how it got renewed. This show is so incredibly predictable. If it was deliciously soapy I could understand but it's terribly boring. The upcoming Joss and Brian hookup has been telegraphed for multiple episodes now. It's so inevitable that I'm already bored by that storyline. This show is horribly flawed - weak writing and acting is tough to come back from. I can't imagine it lasting another season. Now, I know everyone hides some things in their online dating profile but Karen's storylines have been a big bag of crazy and I'm sure some of it can be found in a google search. Is Karen's psychiatrist partner still working with her? I liked him. Even if he was part of the gigantic mess that was The Witches of East End. On second thought, maybe he doesn't deserve to be on a better show. Link to comment
ottoDbusdriver July 1, 2014 Share July 1, 2014 Savi and Zach have been spending some quality time together -- and now they going to the RHCP concert together. Awwww !!!! Zach pulls a patented Frank Costanza "stop short" on Savi after the RHCP concert. And the not-so-subtle pillow-of-pregnancy hiding appears when Savi was sitting in Karen's apartment -- during her intervention about Zach. Despite the fact that Joss is allergic to dogs, she's holding it ALL THE TIME at the start of the episode. Daniel goes all 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' with his mashed potatoes to bond with Lucy. Harry to Joss -- I'm going to Australia, see ya. And he disappears like the labradoodle for the rest of the episode (which plastic surgeon dude never brings up again). Joss bangs plastic surgeon dude -- and it's not all that good. But he has a shoe closet because he has a shoe fetish -- is his name Imelda Marcos ? Hate to break it to him, but one size does not fit all. Karen -- your life officially sucks if you have nothing better to do than order office supplies online as part of your evening's entertainment. And you shouldn't keep going back to the same bar using different backstories. Though she does conveniently spot Daniel in the bar. While Karen looked awesome in her undies, that wig looked terrible. Apparently Daniel's mom is a really hot redhead -- maybe her name is 'Vermont'.Daniel has a shake-weight in his apartment -- he really can't be taken seriously as an artist after knowing that. Toni is still a class-A one-dimensional beyotch. Savi and Zach are returning to the scene of the accident -- at high speeds of course. 2 Link to comment
Jlina July 1, 2014 Share July 1, 2014 Gah, I think shoe fetish guy is going to be the ominous "you could get hurt" Karen train wreck coming. I thought she looked cool with short hair. April's an IDIOT. Sure, dude just leaves his door open. And he does seem to hate red head but oh, man...these women are like unable to google? Demand to meet someone's relatives...something? I guess if the guy's good looking enough they fan wank it away. I've actually done background checks on men I've thought I would get serious with, so...yeah, that's la la land to me. Dom's too good for Savi, no kidding. He's really turned into the knight in shining armour. She seems to be having some kind of survivor's guilt but ewwww.....really nasty, big tatoo. There was a movie once with Jeff Bridges - people who have lived through accidents do this thing where they think they're invincible. Poor Joss, gonna get played by the supposed dork. And she really gets it about Savi - laughing at how she would think Karen (who should be able to hone in on the survivor's thing) would be worried about behavior that's consistantly less risky than anything she does. But sad too, they're all nutcases! 1 Link to comment

KaveDweller July 2, 2014 Share July 2, 2014 I was wondering if he had various shoe sizes, because really. He said he did have different sizes. I was only paying attention because the actor used to be on Passions and he makes me feel all nostalgic. I don't pay that much attention to these idiot women, who I don't find likeable at all. Is Karen just going to the bar and meeting guys, or has she arranged to meet them there through some escort/website thing? I don't get what Savi is doing. Is she just not into Dominick anymore? Black Knight July 2, 2014 Share July 2, 2014 OK, this show finally made me laugh with it rather than at it for one second - Karen's "The lighting was strangely poor" in response to April's questioning of Starbucks cracked me up. Something about Yunjin Kim's delivery plus the sheer implausibility of it. They haven't shown Daniel kissing the redheaded woman, so I'm thinking she's not his girlfriend or wife. I really don't want to lose my Daniel eyecandy. Savi really irritated me a couple of weeks ago with how she somehow managed to claim the moral high ground in her conversation with Dominick about their affair, that resulted in her lecturing, "You're not watching yourself, which means I have to watch you," when she's the one who broke vows. Not that what Dom did was right, either, but he wasn't the one who was in a relationship. So nice to see her shown up as being a major hypocrite this week in regards to her friendship with Zack. But Dom ought not to be that surprised when he finally finds out, if he's remembered a couple of key life lessons: 1) How you get 'em is how you lose 'em 2) Major life decisions made in the wake of severe trauma or life-changing events aren't to be trusted. She's an idiot to go back to the same hotel bar, but I think a hotel is the best place for her to hook. Is Karen just going to the bar and meeting guys, or has she arranged to meet them there through some escort/website thing? I don't think she's hooking, just getting a kick out of using different personas to flirt with men. If she was hooking, she'd have had to go to that guy's hotel room in the previous episode; she wouldn't be able to turn down a "paying customer". I agree that she probably chooses hotel bars to reduce the likelihood of running into those guys again. I'm not sure it was the same hotel though - many hotel bars look similar. The redhead is probably Daniel's other girlfriend, and he probably told her the same story about Vermont that he told April, so he sees one while the other thinks he's in Vermont. But I don't get it - if he wants to sleep around he could do so openly without faking relationships, hot artist that he is. Or does he get a kick out of leading a double life? Link to comment
ottoDbusdriver July 8, 2014 Share July 8, 2014 At the end of last episode, Savi was driving like a woman possessed on the freeway with Zach riding shotgun -- so what happened with that ? Karen's secret life gets the best of her when she meets a guy she likes. So Karen bangs a guy that she likes a couple of times, but I bet that he is pulling the same fake name shenanigans that Karen is, and is probably married. And then she runs into Jacob outside the hotel when she can't find Ben in the bar. Joss gets shocking news from Harry that could impact both of their lives. Oh no, Harry is moving back to Australia -- no real surprise there. Plus, he brought his hot sister back with him from Australia (and she badmouths Savi to Joss). Joss tries to guilt him to stay, but he decides to leave anyway. With Daniel out of town, April has her reasons to decline a dinner invitation with the wealthy parents of her daughter's best friend. But April goes anyway and Payton's creepy father shows up and tries to come on to her. Turns out that Payton's parents have a one-sided open-marriage, anad Payton's mother is wound a little too tight and goes off on April the next day. And just to stir the pot a little more, Payton's mom tells April she went to Daniel's apartment to see his art -- and saw the red-headed woman there in the time that Daniel is supposed to be in Vermont (but is really not). Before Savi and Harry sign their divorce papers, she has an epiphany that challenges her future with Dom. And the epiphany is -- she wants a baby with Dom, but continues to spend quality time behind Dom's back with Zach. Dom gets all excited and buys Savi some expensive jewelry to celebrate the pending conception and spots Savi/Zach getting touchy feely across the street from the jewelry store. Link to comment

Savi is an idiot. If she can't tell Dom about her "friendship" with Zach, then I think it's more than a friendship. I won't feel bad for her if he dumps her instead of giving her those pretty earrings. I did feel bad for him though. But going into public places carries the risk of being spotted, like Karen did, I guess he thinks the city is that big not to ever be discovered. Yeah Savvi is losing it, how much until she crashes a car again, this time with a companion? or how much time to have sex with him? ottoDbusdriver July 15, 2014 Share July 15, 2014 Karen -- continues to be an idiot. Jacob ratted her out and ruined her career, and now he wants to sleep with her. And she's considering it as an option. And then she bangs Jacob anyway. Joss -- is weirded out about by Shoeguy's chosen profession. He's a plastic surgeon who does boobs -- deal with it, Joss. It's an occupational hazard that she knew about going into their relationship. Joss is finally returning to normal, sabotaging her own relationship out of petty jealousy. Joss is such a bitch to Shoeguy that he is late for dinner -- because a patient died on him -- but he didn't think of her first. Of course they make up by the end of the episode -- and are going to move in together. Jealous Dom -- not a happy camper. And big surprise, Zach admits to being romantically interested in Savi in front of Dom, which just cranks up Dom's jealousy. Stalker Zach shows up at Savi's house. And now Savi and Dom are on a break. That bench that April decorated was pretty hideous. And Daniel pulls the old 'cabin is being fumigated for termites' excuse, except gets caught ion his lies finally, and admints he's married. April is sad, and Daniel visits her shop with excuses are right out of the player's handbook -- I'm married but I only love you, and I've never done this before. Show, please write both Dom and stalker whose name I already forgot out of the show and find Alyssa Milano a male costar she has chemistry with. Anna was the prostitute's real name, yes? catrice2 July 15, 2014 Share July 15, 2014 So I guess telling the patient to find another doctor is not an option? Why would Karen want to stop seeing him, unless she thinks he was seeing her patient as a prostitute? I am not sure of April's backstory, but she seems to have a lot of issues. It is almost like she relishes her friend's issues so that she can feel morally superior, but she is always the "victim" in her own situations. On one hand I appreciate that not all of the women are sleeping with random men, cheating on their spouse, etc, but please, give her a decent storyline. I kind of get the Jacob thing. He is still a good guy, but not the right guy for her. .As he said, they were in business together. Turning Karen in was the right thing to do for her (and him) as a doctor/business partner and as a friend. Covering something like that up when he knew it would say something about his character, and her actions really were a cry for help, especially getting involved with the son. Her pattern of self destructive behavior continues. Dom, Zack, Scott, Jacob, even the artist...the show has a problem with casting guys that have chemistry with the women, even on a friendly basis. None of the couples have any chemistry, no matter what kind of "sexy" situations they put them in, and no matter how many shirtless scenes there are, and the men just seem to young for the parts they are playing. Zach seems like a frat boy, Dom does not resonate as a partner in a law firm, Scott seems too young and boyish to be a successful sought after plastic surgeon, and Harry just doesn't have a personality. I continue to say that even with her being heavily pregnant, the hair an makeup people could do a better job with Alyssa Milano. Joss is just horsey and immature. It is hard to buy her as this beautiful "free spirit." I don't think ages have been discussed, but they have her acting like a high school student. Link to comment

But I agree that it's hard to buy the actress as a fresh, young free spirit. She interacts with Savi as if she's a decade younger, even though they look about the same age to me. When Joss says things to Savi like "I'm all grown up now," I roll my eyes and think, yeah, you've been all grown up for a while. Jlina July 17, 2014 Share July 17, 2014 why do you have to be friends with Zach at all I think what Dom meant was why are you making NEW relationships with random guy when you have your already BFF's; more in the sense he wanted to know WHY - not in the you're not allowed to make friends way at all. I bet Dom would be open to Savi having male friends, but the Zach thing is almost stalkerish and I agree with him that Zach's ALWAYS had something he wants from Savi. I think it was going to be money until he met her. Anyway what Dom wants to know is the "why" of why she's doing crazy things he doesn't even know about - speeding down the freeway, tatoo (which he never even mentions?!) etc. And all freaking Savi had to say is I feel lost, I lost my baby, I don't feel like the same person, everything's spinning...or whatever in the heck the truth is - but she's got some be perfect and big sister issues I guess so she just remains mute. I hate people like that - my gosh, use your WORDS. Or, hey, lose em all - you'll deserve it. I really don't like Savi this season, waaay too much entitlement. And, Sonofabiscut, dammit, I think you're right and I was soooooo hoping not to see that. Especially the part about when Savi decides she wants him back! LoveIsJoy July 17, 2014 Share July 17, 2014 (edited) Does Dom know about Savi speeding down the freeway with Zach, though? For me, it would be the lying about it that I would have a problem with. Edited July 17, 2014 by LoveIsJoy Link to comment
catrice2 July 17, 2014 Share July 17, 2014 I think it is the lying he has a problem with. They have not written him to be possessive or controlling. Even her friends tried an intervention, so they also realize she is hiding something. His career is at risk because of her, and on top of that she is lying. He has been shown to be extremely sensitive to her, even reassuring her about her looks, etc. and made it clear he wants no secrets between them. From a safety perspective, he was also spot on about her just inviting the man into her home, etc. That was dangerous, and underlying the anger there was some concern about her engaging in risky behavior. They just haven't done a great job of giving A.M. a interesting story. Even her "whose the daddy, cheating" story from last year was the most boring thing on the show compared to April's undead husband, Joss' lesbian relationship, and Karen sleeping with father/son and having the murdering wife on her case. If A.M. is supposed to be the big star, she is getting the short end. 1 Link to comment
ByTor July 17, 2014 Share July 17, 2014 But April didn't even check her. And that was not the first time Lucy has sassed extremely disrespectfully. Each of those warranted a slap on the backside or a grounding at least. That's what drives me crazy, April acts as though she is afraid of disciplining her own kid. Link to comment

ottoDbusdriver July 20, 2014 Share July 20, 2014 Savi's friends help her bid farewell to her house; Seriously ? What is this going to be -- a clip show of scenes at Savi's house from last season as they all reminisce about the house and how special the house was to each and every one of them ? April realizes her roles are colliding Her roles as what exactly -- bad parent or bad business owner or jealous girlfriend to a married man. Still can't believe she fell for all that crap that Daniel told her and she went back to him. April's an idiot. Joss tries to stop Harry from going back to Australia Joss dumps Shoeguy and bangs Harry. Karen faces a dilemma involving her lover and a client. Easy solution -- combine the two and she makes her lover a client by becoming a prostitute (since the guy already said he had paid for prostitutes previously). Why just troll for guys in a bar, when she can get paid for it. 1 Link to comment
Red Fields July 20, 2014 Share July 20, 2014 Completely agree with you, SonofaBiscuit. Joss and Harry have the only chemistry on the show and they are moving towards a hook up. I think Joss looks younger than Savi. AM is looking haggard this season. Perhaps it is the pregnancy, but she looks well over 40 to me. I don't know why Dom would expect fidelity from a woman who has already cheated on her husband. Link to comment
Phillygurl July 20, 2014 Share July 20, 2014 I think that is the point. Because Savi and Dom's relationship is the result of infidelity, they are both hypersensitive to outsiders involvement with one another. That being said, I think Dom's concerns were right on the money. Getting upset that Savi has been seeing Zach or has been lying about Zach is worthless because those are things that can be forgiven eventually. But Dom understands that the Savi needing Zach to provide something he couldn't means that, with or without Zach in her life, their relationship is doomed. Either way, I'm not really into this storyline. Honestly I think Savi needs to be alone to figure things out for herself. I was kind of annoyed when she met Harry and seemed to feel a sense of loss at the idea of him leaving. I mean she humilated him and broke his heart twice. He owes you nothing. And the second that you fight with your new boyfriend, you are super eager to go grab a drink with your ex. Someone needs a man-cation. April - So I don't think April likes to feel morally superior. I think that she is a good girl who got married young and was never really tempted into doing the wrong things. Doing the right things got her a successful marriage (for a while) and a beautiful daughter. However she finally realizes, like all good girls do, that other ppl don't play by the rules. And as a result end up rewarded. Trying to always do the right thing is exhausting and difficult and she's tired. So she went back to Daniel. It will end badly but I do think this is the natural progression of her character. PS, in my opinion, April and Daniel have the most chemistry of all the other characters on the show. Joss - This plastic surgeon storyline is weird and wrong. I mean a closet full of lady shoes. No way. I guess I did appreciate him discussing the lack of fulfillment his job gives him but I think this is moving way too fast. Please just let them break up so Joss can do the ultimate no no and get with her sister's ex husband. It's clear Joss and Savi's relationship is on the rocks which is why it was so unrealistic to me that Savi called Joss for advice. But I digress Karen - Saw that coming a mile away. Do not like Jacob for her at all. Is it me or did it seem like after their session Karen looked kind of bored and unsatisfied. I think she'll go back and find Mr. Double-back-for-a-second-round guy. Since Jacob is super boring by comparison. Link to comment
slayer2 July 21, 2014 Share July 21, 2014 Delurking to say that I liked Karen with the guy who ruined the Client List. I always love Justin Hartley and I didn't even know there was a season 1. I dropped in around episode 2 of season 2. Love the show! Link to comment
catrice2 July 21, 2014 Share July 21, 2014 I think Brian Halisay? was just cast in Revenge. I think they don't film at the same time, so he may be able to do both. Odd, I was just thinking that he did not have chemistry with Karen, or with his own wife on the Client List. I took it as a sign that Revenge is surely on its last legs! Link to comment
ottoDbusdriver July 22, 2014 Share July 22, 2014 (edited) April's an idiot. Bangs a married man, but has the buyer's remorse. Daniel states the marriage is over, but why would they be going out to bars and hanging around his studio. "You made me love you. You made we want you." Who writes this crap ? Savi's purse gets bigger and bigger every episode to cover her burgeoning baby bump. And Toni the beyotch is back. And now she wants to be Savi's BFF. Shoeguy is worried that he didn't get the 'I love you' return after he dropped that last episode. And makes Joss say it to him when they are moving her stuff into his place. Shoeguy is a 10% investor in a restaurant run by a German supermodel and they arrange for Joss to plan the gala opening. Yay, but not really because the food chef Dieter makes really sucks. Karen as a drama queen has the worst poker face ever -- and badly lies her way out of dating Jacob. It's not you, it's me. What is this -- Seinfeld ? Though that does tie in with the 'I love you' return nonsense mentioned before. Even though Jacob broke up with Anna and there's no longer a conflict. Anna is now missing and suicidal since Jacob dumped her. Oh, noes !! But Anna was just out and about being a free spirit in the desert -- no concerns. So what was that mysterious phone call ? Did she butt dial Karen while dropping 'shrooms ? Can you tell this is a Disneyfied ABC production ? Lucy wants Daniel to stay in the picture so they can be a family. Oh, goody.Except, this is a show about a group of women banging a lot of people who are not their spouses (ergo, the title). And Daniel has a peen that is addictive like crack since April can not let go. but then finally breaks up with him since she's a bad role model for Lucy. Really, it only took Peyton's father being outed as a cheater to all the other students for that little bit of logic to click into place. After some Joss shenanigans, Harry has a new job at the German supermodel's restaurant and is staying in LA. I guess we'll have to put off the inevitable Harry/Joss hookup for another episode. Poor chef Dieter, he never had a chance. And Shoeguy is jealous of Harry. Jacob and Karen get discovered near-kissing in the elevator -- by Anna. Awkward !!! ETA: Savi does not bid farewell to her house. Edited July 22, 2014 by ottoDbusdriver 1 Link to comment
