  1. Yes it's 2024 and yes I am just getting to Billions season 4 episode 4 lol SO I know there is a very low likelihood of this post getting read but I had to say... WTF? I can't believe Chuck would out Wendy like that. I have spent the past few episodes feeling bad for Chuck wondering why Connerty and Sacker are out for blood and then he pulls this stunt. As others have said, I don't care what Chuck is into. I care that he outed a person WITHOUT her consent. Furthermore, this is an act she performs for his benefit. Then he had the nerve to yell back at her when she confronted him instead of being contrite as he should have been. This demonstrates a complete lack of respect for his partner. Just at a chance to win a political position. He could have just waited until Jack Foley croaked. Instead he put his wife's career in jeopardy not to mention she has to deal with the humiliation of being looked at by everyone she knows as a dominatrix. Again, it's HIS kink she has consented to for HIS pleasure now she is the one feeling humiliated. Unfortunately, being a physician is not just what you do, it is who you are. It's an identity. And while what you do in the confines of your own home shouldn't matter, it unfortunately would be seen in a different light than as it would for a male politician. I am done with Chuck. I hope Wendy leaves him. Win at all costs. Well the cost should be your marriage at this point.
  2. Lol I came here hoping for someone to explain to me what is going on 🤣 I mean I get the overall idea she encountered something up there and somehow she is a mirrored version of herself... and maybe she returned to the wrong version of reality. And in the other reality she is the one that's dead and Paul is alive? Or at least that's what I think is happening lol. Are they insinuating that some of these astronauts who go up there get swapped with a mirror version of themselves? And why is Jo so fixated on the dead cosmonaut? I'm left with more questions than answers at this point. Oh great, now I'm looking forward and seeing only 1 more episode and then I have to wait more weeks for answers? I don't know if I have the patience.
  3. I may be in the minority but I don't think Diane and Kurt should have ever gotten married. And yes I agree they had sweet moments and I even liked how he did not want to know about her affair with Tully. But they were always too different and on TGW, there was a scene with her friend when she cautioned Diane that a relationship should be able to survive outside their private little bubble. This seemed like foreboding but here we are 7+ seasons and a spin-off later. I don't think Diane lied about there not being someone else. She specifically said "not in the way that you mean" meaning she wasn't ending the marriage to be with someone else. It was more like she realized through her flirtations with this other man that things have to be so difficult. I mean let's be real: this entire season it is very clear Diane has felt very alone and hopeless. And the person you are supposed to reach for in those times of feelings of alone and hopelessness is your significant other. And yes Kurt can hold her and maybe even empathize, but he can't agree with her or be angry with her. It's a very lonely feeling. She may have love but sometimes love just isn't enough. She has to hold back a very fundamental part of herself. As someone mentioned above, this is no longer just about debate. The political landscape seems to have turned evil and ugly and there is no choice but to draw lines especially for someone as political as Diane. I also think Neil's offer is not the reason she ended her marriage. I think it was just the last little nudge she needed to solidify in her mind that this just won't work as it stands now. This breakup has been inevitable from my vantage point.
  4. Bingeing this series. I have so many questions. 1) Why is everyone always trying to protect Alicia? She is supposed to be this independent woman but she is always being rescued by men. 2) Why would Alicia run for states attorney? The entire series she has emphasized how private she is and how she doesn't want to be in the limelight then she runs for office? She then proceeds to jump through hoops she is advised to jump through by her campaign managers without seeming to care much about skirting the truth. It seems like a huge deviation from the core character we have watched for 5 seasons. 3) Good wife? What about Good mother? These poor teenagers grew up in a broken home with an inattentive mother who, when she finally finished work, would often be seen in a bar meeting a colleague or in a hotel room with her lover? No wonder an entire teen pregnancy and abortion happened under her nose. No wonder Grace found God, she was probably desperately seeking guidance and someone she can depend on. I definitely don't shame working mothers but honestly, for someone constantly defending her family life, she hardly ever seems to be with her family. I mean let's be real, she almost missed her sons graduation from high school. 4) Why is she staying in this dead marriage? She is clearly an opportunist. She is staying because it benefits her and we are supposed to find this empowering? 5) Why is it a foregone conclusion that literally everyone wants to bang Kalinda. She is attractive sure but she is quite one note and let's be honest no woman is everyones type. It's a bit farfetched that with one look she makes tons of people, men and women go insane over her. As you can probably tell, I am not a fan of Alicia. She is hardly an underdog as much as they tried to sell it the first 2 seasons. She gets handed things because either 1. Someone is secretly in love with her or 2. She is married to a powerful man. I knew what I was getting into watching this show. I have only continued to watch for Christine Baranski who is brilliant, classy and actually humble despite everything she has accomplished unlike Saint Alicia. I'm basically only watching to get backstory for the Good Fight.
  5. I definitely thought Dani was fish food. They seemed to be going out of their way all season to imply her time was at an end. Let her be a retired grandma. Someone deserves to die of old age if that's what they want. I'm a bit bummed we didn't get any Ellen Wilson this season but I guess a former president doesn't really have any place here. I agree with those who found Ed unlikeable this season. He was full on jerk mode with Dani(especially blaming her for Danny when she seemed to be the only one willing to interact with him), regarding the Helios workers (in the beginning when he was XO not caring if they could speak to their loved ones), and even his grandson. They gave him one touching moment in the end with Kelly but it was far too late for me to be able to empathize with this character. I also agree they haven't really developed any of the other younger character except for Aleida. And where was Jimmy this season? I needed to see a moment where he took some sort of responsibility for what happened to Karen. Will was there but seriously a very unnecessary player. Kelly is very boring and the only time I liked her this whole show was when she chose not to abandon her son with his strict, cantankerous grandma who may well have taken him to the Soviet Union (shudder). Who does that really leave? I did not like Miles. The way he pushed Ilya out of his own business after Ilya gave him part of his profits was quite disgraceful. Didn't mind a bit of torture his way. I agree no one seemed to care for Sam's safety. She was actually the one taking most of the risk. I didn't care much for her safety either but that's because she was also a pretty unlikeable character. They didn't take much time to develop her motivations. It seemed mostly like of the rebel workers were motivated by self interest rather than some selfless desire to see Mars develop, Sam included. The mob scene was difficult to watch and I really don't like the idea that any of Ed's group would have gotten away with it. Shouldn't they have been charged with treason? The only person I truly like was Lee. I'm happy he finally got to see his wife. Ultimately, I don't see myself watching another season of this. Even watching season 4 was a stretch. Watching the rapid aging of beloved characters isn't exactly fun either. Season 1 and 2 were the best. RIP Deke, Tracy, Gordo and Molly.
  6. Dr. Headwood is in New Eden. It's interesting to read all the theories regarding the ending. I thought it was supposed to be a distress call from Big Alice. I mean they still have multiple engineers and a train with all the same mechanics it did before. I mean if Wilford was able to make an EMP device from whatever was on the train, a distress missile seems simple enough. Alex is there and she knows the exact timing to release something like that so that her mom would see it. I anticipate next season will be a rescue mission and tough decisions regarding how to fit everyone into half a train. As for LJ's demise, I really hope that is the last we see of her. Really the character adds nothing to the show and is just meant to act as a garden variety Wilford sycophant. I really enjoy this show and have to wait for it on HBO Max since I don't have cable. Glad it was renewed.
  7. I don't think Blackfire is using Connor. She seems to genuinely like him and their convo in the car seemed innocent enough. Umm Crane's mom? I mean seriously no wonder he's insane. That actor is killing it though. No pun intended. Jason as reedemable is still a hard sell and I was actually surprised he believed Dick when Dick said he can come home. I'm not sure about the visions, maybe Kory and Komi have an unknown sibling? Half-sibling who is now communicating with Kory? It seems like it would need to be someone related to send a message the was Komi did. Love Tim Drake and honestly Dick could have done more to keep him out of harms way. I honestly find Dick to be my least favorite Titan, but then again Batman is my least favorite superhero so it makes sense. Like father, like son.
  8. Blackfire's suit alone made this episode. As far as Starfire killing someone, this "someone" had just killed her own son in cold blood after having Kory beg him to come back to save the city. I'm having a hard time judging Kory for that. People keep asking if Jason is redeemable but what does redemption look like? Manipulated or not, he killed Hank. He needs to be placed in Arkham for the rest of his natural born life. I loved the Team in action. I wish there was much more of that. Wasn't really impressed with Dick and Barbara but it's fine if they want to take it there. I just hope they don't do a character assassination on Kory and make her a jealous, unrequited-love-having, angsty mess. They should just get her with that sexy therapist.
  9. This times a million. This should have been at least 3-4 episode arc with the team knowing they're leaving. The suddenness of it all made me feel robbed. I have a huge crush on Cisco Ramon even though he is like 3 inches shorter than me. But he is the nerdy genius of my dreams! I'll miss him so much. He was actually the most logical team member and, most importantly, who will name the villains now???
  10. As did I. However, I could never see Barry with this version of Iris. With an afro she would be "too black" for Barry. Kinda made me sad. Her "assimilation" is the reason they work as a couple. Although I agree those were kid N' play outfits and they definitely didn't blend in, I loved it so much and only these characters could make it work. I was so sad to see Chester back in those tight pants of his.
  11. I found this one very interesting. As she found love not with a person, but rather with her underlying passion. Honestly I think it happens far too often that we don't realize our potential in life because he spend so much time chasing some arbitrary happy ending we think we want. Anyway, I think Vince led her on throughout their friendship. If he knew she had a crush, he shouldn't have been so close and so physical with her. Also the incessant texts and begging her to come out all the time. What woman wouldn't see that as more than friendship? It was like he used her crush on him to pump up his ego but then once they slept together he had to show his cards. She definitely deserved better treatment.
  12. Yes exactly. It was a device created by Wayne industries. They went through all the trouble to prove the point that the only work around was the device Connor was working on. And they showed him using his speed and intellect to do something no one else could do. I don't think they're making him impotent. I think the point was that this device couldn't have just been manhandled.
  13. I don't think feeling bad for what happened to Kai is the equivalent of saying oh yeah he should have gotten away with it. I felt he was manipulated into doing something he clearly didn't want to do. But of course he should be punished, not just for the stealing but the physical assault was upsetting and completely unnecessary. I felt bad that he allowed himself to be manipulated not that he got caught
  14. Not Hank! He was comic relief and man-candy all rolled into one. He was like a teddybear I just wanted to snuggle. That being said, at risk of echoing everyone else, he was extremely stupid, as was Dawn. How can you trust the word of a person so maniacal to have been involved in the sadistic events from the previous episode? And neither had back up... whats the point of being on a team if your just gonna go rogue and do whatever you want anyway??? Also, How can there be a Dove with no Hawk? I really did ship them. 😔
  15. Hmm well I might be alone in thinking this but Belinda was not innocent. She was clearly pretending to care about Tanya to get that investment money. Her son basically told her to do just that. I don't know if anyone else noticed but when Tanya first arrived and she wanted to book a Massage, Belinda said there were no availabilities. She then did the immersive holistic experience instead and then right after a guest called for a massage and all of a sudden the schedule was wide open. So I'm not sure what Belinda's original problem was but she only became extremely accommodating when she thought she had something to gain. So I don't feel sorry for Belinda. She was able to put a business plan together and she has some seed money. She needs to find another way to make her dreams come true. As for Rachel, I'm not sure why some people think her only 2 options are be a mediocre journalist or have daily sex with a man you can't stand. She can go back to school, change careers, back pack around Europe. Do whatever she wants. But yes if she rather trade her happiness for money then she deserves Shane 100%. Don't feel sorry for her either. The only one I empathize with is Kai. He was a nice guy who just wanted Paula to stay. She of course would never leave her comfy life for him so she convinced him to steal to take attention off the fact that he as just a stop on her tour bus and nothing more. Paula is definitely the worst. Why even go to Hawaii with a bunch of rich white people if they are so deplorable to you? Their privilege is acceptable as long as it extends to you. Awesome. Quinn was ok and a mostly acceptable human being. I really hated how his sister treated him. I wish she had to sleep in the closet.
