The only thing I saw (and I'm in the U.S. so I haven't seen the show that should have aired yesterday) Kyle do was buy Lola a handbag he'd seen her admiring. Now we're being indoctrinated that poor/girl doesn't go with or marry rich boy/girl. Reverse class warfare. Who knew? I've got to go lie down now. I've given myself a migraine from rolling my eyes so hard I was seeing out of the back of my head. The more believable and likely outcome in such a situation would have (should have) been Lola loving the handbag and simply refusing to keep it and lovingly telling Kyle that it's too expensive a gift for him to have given her at this point in their relationship. A genuine and profuse thank you and sadness that she couldn't allow herself to keep it. That would have done more to cement their relationship. Frankly, I don't even know what I'd do if I'd been dating a guy for several months and he hauled off and bought me something very expensive. But then again, I've never dated a rich guy either.

This.  Too soon for a really expensive gift, that I get.  Acting like the spoiled brat you're accusing the giver of being, that I don't.  One of the most important lessons I ever learned was that accepting a present, a compliment, a kind act, even when it made me uncomfortable was ultimately the most loving thing I could do for the giver, and that if it was hard for ME, well, that was my problem to deal with.  Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see Kyle condescending to Lola about his gift from her or his to her.  

All I really see is Mal's hamfisted way of inserting a "problem" into their relationship, one that really reflects poorly on Lola, and not in a way that makes any real sense for the character when there are all sorts of issues that would realistically do the same without trashing either one.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, (unless you're Nick, of course, and he's playing another game of pocket pool).

Yeah, I don't see why Lola got so upset. The only reason I can think of is that she somehow thought he was trying to make her feel she owed him and he was trying to pressure her to have sex. But if that was what she thought then why didn't she say that? "Candy and flowers, dearie" used to be the only things a young maiden was allowed to accept from a suitor otherwise she was no lady. But FFS, it's not 1818. I just don't get it.

I would have expected Lola to have dropped holding her chastity over Kyle by accusing him of trying to buy her affection to the point of opening her knickers for him. Has he treated her like that? Never that I can see. Is he a red blooded young American guy eager to get busy with a young woman he's clearly shown his great attraction and affection to, sure. But as far as I've been able to see from his interactions with her, he is not aggressively pursuing her to have sex like this damn minute now! All I can say is, where the hell is Summer? Not that I want her back BTW, but now that Fen is back in town, maybe the two of them could get together and plot some nastiness on some poor mope like they did back while in high school.

I agree that Kyle has done nothing that would cause Lola to think that but as far as I can see she totally overreacted for some reason. I can't figure it out other than the utter shit writing we've seen from Show.

I’m becoming repulsed every time Billy and Victoria kiss. I don’t know if it’s the actors anti-chemistry or if this is scripted/directed to always be the most chaste, elementary school kissing, but it’s almost like someone out there wants the audience to absolutely never root for them or want them together. It’s really, really weird.

Because I really need to see Villy and JT/AH when they’re not under Mal’s direction and pen. Although, to be frank, I also wouldn’t be surprised if the acting remained awkward and uncomfortable, because AH and JT never seemed like they gave the time to truly care about developing or understanding what their version of Villy would be. JT pretty much admits in every interview that he knows little about Billy’s history or the past recasts and zero about Villy but spends most of his time analyzing and studying dialogue with GT.

I devoutly hope that he and Gina Tognoni have lots and lots and lots of time off screen and off set to analyze and study dialogue to their hearts content, and maybe read up on Villy when he has the time - all the time in the world, I hope.

I thought about using "skid marks" but then I remembered that's Phyllis' - and Sharon's, and Ol' Hammertoes, and for that matter, Faith's - pet name for Nick.

As I understand it, "Dark Horse" was originally going to called "Dark Shorts".

JG likes Villy and wrote a fair bit of their history so he should be able to help JT get up to speed. AH can play pretty intense sex scenes (ie if she is holding back it’s by choice) so if she’s supposed to currently want to fuck Cane who tells her she’s empty and cold, Billy being good to her likely would be a turn off. Plus show keeps teasing Philly so this is all Mal.

Right now Billy will want Victoria but she will screw it up because of Vane. Phyllis and Nick will implode because of the JT fallout, Phyllis and Billy will reconnect for Philly version 2,376 (in two years, lol). That is where Mal was going I’m POSITIVE. 

But now I’m counting on Josh to Kill Phill(y) DEAD. He has to. Mal’s vision is garbage and show admitted it by firing him.

Airdate I don’t know. Usually 3 or 4 months, no? So not before March.
