I love this show; I think it is my favorite show on Bravo and I wish this forum were on the main page (it can replace/diisplace a Below Deck franchise or two).

Vulture recap:

https://www.vulture.com/article/married-to-medicine-recap-season-10-episode-1.html

I didn't even notice Contessa and the Indian woman didn't return this season.  Can't say I missed them although I did like Contessa. This season could be a lot of fun--I would love to see Phaedra take on both Quad and Heavenly.

I sent a message to a mod to see if the forum could be moved to the main page of Candid Reality.

Sweet Tea is trashy. She claimed she would have babies with Gregory by adding a baby emoji in her DM to him, but it seems she has fertility issues after all (something we saw in this episode). As for Dr. Gregory, he met women via social media before. He and a friend met them in a hotel in an earlier season.

I doubt very much, that I'd meet his friends for the first time, let alone host them and open the door in coochie cutters.......with tassels.    Say what you will about Quadrafinka Webb, she would have never.

She would not. She wouldn’t have thrown a hoedown either.

Sweet Tea & Greg’s story is … not cute. She’s a golddigger (wait, no - a copper digger! I fell out) who comes across as thirsty and baby-trapping. Greg is like 55, right? He really wants to be a first time dad at his age?

Phaedra’s boys remain cute! Phaedra is certainly experimenting with different hair looks.

If Sweet Tea is overwhelmed with the wedding planning perhaps they should elope.

Why the hell is she stressed if he's paying for everything?  So she wants him to pay for everthing PLUS do the planning?  She needs to chill.  And why isn't her twin helping her plan the wedding?  This girl might end up being more high maintenance than Quad.  If he doesn't get a prenup he's an idiot.

Ugh--fame-whoring is one thing, but talking to your kids about sex on tv is just gross. Leave your kids off the screen. Boring and sick.

I haven’t seen the episode yet but I saw that clip in the “this season on …” preview and I thought it was inappropriate. I 100% think parents should talk to their kids about sex (Eugene is a doctor, his kids in particular shouldn’t grow up thinking sex is dirty and secretive. No kids should!) but I don’t know that it needs to be televised. (My tether for kids being on reality TV and YouTube is shortening every day - kids deserve privacy.)

I cannot express to you how much I hate event planning. The way I’d hire a wedding planner so quick, especially if I had a big budget …

And I am very pro-prenup. Greg has done this before, he should have sense enough to have one.

Especially because Sweet Tea was 32, and he was 55 (Quad said he is 23 years older than her) when they were filming (he is 56 now), and they dated for 6 months only before they were married.

If  Greg is so gung-ho to be a daddy - I'm surprised he didn't peruse that quest , planned or unplanned prior to Quad , while he was much younger.

I do agree children are blessing - but after all of this time - what does he need or want one for ? Single/Divorced men can adopt , and/or be a mentor to neices/nephews. Surely, his  momma can't still be pressuring him, to produce a heir.

55 +18 = 73 - high school graduation

73 + 4 = 77 - undergrad

77 + 4 = 81 - med school - to take over practice & be a 2nd income to sweet t's federal job gov't pension

81 + ??? - residency

I hope he adds any life Ins policy and any future policies to the prenup

I think you mean Sweet Tea - Greg’s not 23 years older than Quad, Quad is 43. He only dated Sweet Tea for six months?! And I think some of that was long distance? He barely knows her. Chile…

And that’s assuming Sweet Tea is pregnant right now, today, and I don’t think she is. Starting with parenthood when you’re pushing 60 sounds … awful, to me. I used to babysit for a family with a rich older husband and younger wife (and she wasn’t your stereotypical trophy wife, she wasn’t particularly attractive) and he had a second go round family with her. His first two kids were about the same age as his second wife, and then he had 2-and 4-year olds with his second wife. He was 60ish. He was exhausted. And he had all the resources money brings - good diet, fitness, etc., but you could tell he just wanted some peace and quiet, which wasn’t going to happen with kids that young.

Yes, I meant Sweet Tea. Quad said on the show that Gregory is 23 years older than Sweet Tea.

Now girl you slid into that man's whole IG and told him you can give him what he want.  Do that.   He wants to be catered to like a grown ass baby.  He wants you to be at home in an apron when he walk through the door.  He wants you to fcuk them greens up like Roydell and Alverstine do.  He wants you to come up with as many different kinds of ways to say fuschia as you wont to.   Unlimited funds, you can dress that man in a sill-ass salmon colored suit (he'll even let you pronounce the L), and serve ribs and baked beans down to the venue.   He. Don't. Curr.  To such an extent that ain't nothing stopping you from taking all his shit after the fact.  And since you're kind of unabashed about this checkbook and you came down to the brides r' us  and stepped out a 2019 double R, widebody, whatchu gone do?   They don't have to move, she isn't having a baby before the ceremony.....what exactly is it that a bride is gonna be stressed about that can't be solved with cash?   I wish tf I would meet a childless bachelor MD who let me run loose with his ATM card and didn't want to be involved in the plans.  There'd be at LEAST 2 camels and a bouncy castle!  Girl good day!  Gawn and call a caterer, a hayride company, the Atlanta Metropolitan something or other and whoever makes your balloon rainbows and shutcho goof ass up.

Girl, I missed you. 😂

Dr G didn't have her checked out beforehand? I thought he would have an specialist examine her reproduction system thoroughly.

Keeping calculator handy in case I need to adjust my math above.

Dr. G didn't bother to check anything. She is in a Facebook support group about women who date (exclusively) older (or just really old) guys....And these women are serial daters of older guys. But they are not sugar babies like Sweet Tea told the women several times at the Bridal Salon.

Phaedra, and Toya: I think a young woman dating an old man would have multiple questions. What a VCR is, or what CDs are. What Blockbuster was? I don't think I would like to date a much older man, because I'm not really a nurse.

This thing own?

SweetTea, KeneashTea, meltdowns?

Quad bearing gifts and giving gracious ex at a party to which she wasn't invited?

Toya aka HaiTea having a seizure then leaving b/c Quad came even though bridey was shockingly diplomatic about it.

Since when did wedding planners dictate the budget?  Listen Craig, imma slide another 1800 usd across this here table, do what you want with that but don't call my phone anymuffucin more today, k?

Not Damon and Heavenly gaslighting this baby bout school?  lol!!  I hope she goes to the University of Honolulu.

How long is it gone be until we can see the wives react to ass cheeks on the party bus?  Curtis' face mole was contracting.

That is all.

I think the only way she stays close to home is if her parents refuse to pay unless she does, and I don’t think Dr. Damon would go for that.

I like Eugene but the sex talk on camera was awful.

The only thing I liked was when he playfully asked his sons “who snitched?” about him watching the Playboy documentary. It seems like he has a good relationship with them. I remember him going shopping with one of them for his (the kid’s) birthday dinner, and I thought it was cute.

The only proper response to this is to round up Apollo and the NEW Mrs. Nida and INVITE them to the next "event" you morons have.

That would be PERFECT!!  I couldn't believe Quad showed up but at least she left without a fight.  Also with you on Heavenly.

The strippers looked like circus freaks to me.

That was a Bravo bachelorette party so I didn’t think it was that big a deal that Quad showed up. Toya gave Phaedra too much credit although she was happy to escort Greg’s ex wife into his fiancés party. I bet production thought Quad and Sweet Tea would get into it.
The guys party on the bus was gross.

Now, it was ri-dam-diculous for Quad to crash( or be invited by messy ass Phaedra) the bachlorette party but Sweet Tea really has some nerves of glass! Red flags are definitely a-flying betwixt she and Gregory 🚩🚩🚩

OAN, Jackie calling the girl Nutrasweet made my whole day.

In true airhead fashion, Toya said these ladies are about to be transformed into a whole nother planet.

I believe Heavenly really did put 'that thing' in Daddy's spaghetti. It would explain a lot.

Quad's invitation to the bachelorette party was orchestrated by the Bravo production team to create drama. She obliged. Phaedra was the go between. Sweet Tea didn't overreact- good for her. Toya pushed Quad in order to fight with Sweet Tea when she realized it was not happening.

As for Gregory, he was controlling with Quad, and he is not going to change. This is going to be an issue in this marriage, as well.

Heavenly and Damon's attempt to scare their daughter from going to college in Florida was hilarious.

Sweet Tea and Dr G won’t last.  Quad is on WWHL and I think she looks great.

I agree. Now that the wedding is over, he's going to expect her to go all in on keeping house and then there's going to be the baby drama since she has fibroids serious enough that Simone sent her to a specialist. I don't care for Tea. There's something vapid about her.

Speaking of Simone, I'm with her on her older son finishing school. He needs to step up his game big time.

Yes - she and her sister both seem like vapid foolish women.

I don’t understand Simone and Cecil constantly cracking up when they talk to their sons about their future.  Miles seems like he’s on his way to being a deadbeat. I hope she gets serious about cracking down on him.
I noticed Curtis was at the bachelor party but he has yet to go to an event with Jackie.
Nice try Sweet Tea, your wedding is a Bravo event . Heavenly is invited.

Sweet-Tea and Phaedra are cheapening this show.

I am new to watching this show, Phaedra is really disgusting the way she goes on about coochies and flat behinds, etc...she and most of the women seem to have archaic ideas about lesbians and think making comments about someone being gay/lesbian is the ultimate insult...I just don't get it, it's 2023.

Dr. Gregory is heading down the road to an unhappy marriage, he found a gold digger who is more in to his wallet than him, she married for money and will earn every dollar and he wants arm candy and will pay for it, did he get a prenup?

What is with Heavenly and telling her daughter she wants her to stay home for college, that is so selfish and it's a little late if the daughter is graduation high school, her school is already chosen, accepted and money has been paid.

Every party needs a theme and ugly costumes? None of those women look comfortable at any event they have to dress for, like really uncomfortable.

Greg isn't looking for intellectual stimulation or anyone ambitious.  If he was, he'd find somebody closer to his own age.

Simone's son is an adult.  If he doesn't finish school, then he doesn't finish school.  Tell him he has one more school year and that's it.  If he's not finished by then, too bad so sad.  Pay for it yourself.  If you don't finish, you didn't care about school. The end.

Men who seek out golddiggers are not seeking out equal partners and they know without their money, the women they seek partnership with wouldn't be with them.  If Greg was "all that" a fan of the show wouldn't have been able to DM him and get it popping.

Greg has what he wants, Sweet Tea has what she wants.  Since Greg is older and controlling, Sweet Tea should get all she can monetarily out of him.

I requested a full forum for the show on November 8th, and I was directed to the right place in this site to do it. Unfortunately, it can't happen (I received a message yesterday) because the show is long running already, and there is not enough participation in this thread....I took a screenshot of the answer. I hope I'm allowed to post it here.

Thanks for posting the update regarding the thread.  I watched the show this morning and agree with you guys on mostly everything!

I shudder when I see Simone's deadbeat kid being a dead beat!  Reminds me of a nephew but tell myself his parents allow him to act this way.  I would drive him to a recruiting station and ask him to pick his branch of Service.  Not as punishment (I'm a military retiree) but as a good introduction to the real world away from Mom and Dad.

Sweet Tea gets points for trying to stick it to Heavenly.  As an astute poster mentioned, it is a Bravo party so Heavenly has to attend but let's hope Sweet Tea keeps it up.  I consider that to be entertaining.

Quad, Quad, Quad.  Nobody wants to be her.

Spoiler

Didn't her niece drown in her pool this summer?  Such a tragedy.

Phaedra has a big house but needs to hire a designer.
