You know, I have a bit of a messy bedroom right now. So what? I will be cleaning it up in a bit. That is what I do on a daily basis. I know others may have a mess in their home, too. The difference is, people work and don't have time to tend to their homes. What excuse is there for Cate and Tyler? They don't do shit all damn day but make videos for their busted fans and then get pissed when they get shitted on.

I'm going to be real honest for a minute. 95% of Tyler's video made me laugh. For the most part, I don't really care about the piles of clothes in the room or unmade bed. I really don't care that Nova didn't have pants on. I am a pretty tidy person, but my house certainly isn't perfect. My other people in this house are NOT naturally tidy and sometimes I have my fill of trying to handle it all myself and try to tell myself that life is about living, not cleaning. My kids are homeschooled and generally in some state of undress (mostly shirtless). I'm pretty chill about stuff like that, and how others raise their kids. 

I will say, though, that since they literally have NOTHING else going on in their lives, there isn't much excuse for the clutter/mess. I didn't think it was THAT bad, but some cleaning could be done for sure. But I do think parent shaming is a real thing these days. I'd snark on these two for the more serious matters than whether they stay on top of their laundry. But that's just me. And they did choose to put themselves on TV, so...ya know....

However, I will stand by the problems with the fan. I get wanting a fan in your room. Some people run very "hot" and need that extra breeze, even with the AC on. For some, it's a white noise issue. But you CANNOT have a coverless fan on in a room where a child is wandering around. The blades themselves did not seem sharp, but if her hair got caught up in that, YIKES! Just an all around safety hazard. Buy a new one, they're not that expensive. 

 

Finally, is it sad that my MOST concerning moment of the original Mother's Day video was the eggs? I know everyone has different taste, but they looked burned to hell and nasty.

It made me laugh, too. The stupidity he shows knows no bounds. I have a messy home as I type, and I dread walking into my house after work today, but I am not filming it and sharing it for public consumption either. I don't care about kids running around in just shorts or diapers myself. I have done that with my kids from time to time when they were growing up. Weather permitting, it is more comfortable for kids, especially if they are home.  I will scrutinize C&T for Nova running around half naked because it seems to be all.the.time. C&T are not parents who work nor are they doing anything productive at home. In fact, Nova is not even with them most of the time. She is there for camera day! MTV is in town. Put some clothes on that kid at least once!

C&T are like Kail. They choose to show their home and if it is messy, they better get ready for the shade coming their way.  Their messy home is like a metaphor of their lives. The overall mess is just a reflection of their sloth lifestyle and Cate's apparent lack of hygiene.

It isn't as if Cate is having to wash clothes by hand. She has a washer and dryer. Put the damn clothes in the washer. Two able-bodied adults in a home where no kids live (except when MTV comes to town) and neither can bother to do shit.  For all the judgments they throw around, they deserve having shade thrown their way especially when they invite people into their lives via social media.

I agree with a lot of you, any one of the infractions I couldn't careless about (with the exception of the fan, that's an actual safety issue) I am a single woman who did laundry yesterday and instead of putting my clothes away pulled my work clothes out of the basket (scrubs) so they wouldn't wrinkle and left the rest, then this morning when I was getting ready for work I wanted a specific white shirt, so I pulled clothes out of the basket and left them on the floor to deal with later, so if someone saw my room they probably would judge me... but I don't post videos of my room knowing thousands on people watch my videos and that a good 3/4ths of them are looking for things to bitch about, so there's that. 

The thing that I don't understand is how they have any supporters when they frequently talk about how they laugh and make fun of fans. I also think it's dumb that the thing they are indignant about is something that could actually hurt a child (who am I kidding this is the same family that saw no issue with posting naked shower pictures for the world to see). There were numerous times as a child that I wanted to see what would happen if I stuck things in the fan, and that's with the front on it, and I was older than Nova, and old enough to know better... concern for nova is the only thing that holds any of my attention to them... so if even half of the viewers feel the same as I do, that's gonna be an issue when they don't have any interest and the show goes away.

Girl, I hear you on that.  Mostly everyone is guilty of having a not having a perfectly clean house.  Not everyone films their home and shares that mess on social media. If you have a productive life, high five. If you are at home being productive, more power to you. If you are an able-bodied adult who doesn't do a damn thing all day, every day, and dish out hypocrisy and thrive on being a judgmental twat, you deserve all the harsh criticisms that come with sharing to the public your private life.  C&T sit there and criticize "haters" when all it is, is people who have common sense about the dangers of having a child near an open fan which can catch Nova's hair and cause her an injury. Instead of being thankful for people looking out for their child's safety, they take it another level and hurl insults as if they are the perfect parents who know it all.

The kind edit is why C&T think they are so immune to any criticism. They were used to receiving such positive comments and receiving so much sympathy. Then, that door to that kind edit slowly closed as the harsh reality set in of what life truly is like at Casa Baltierra.

I once had a fan just like the one they showed in that video back when I was in college. The cover of it easily comes off so the blades can be dusted and cleaned. I am sure Taylor and Cate must have broken it or it fell and broke and they just can't bother to buy another one.

I think Catelynn is more bored and lazy than depressed.  She does seem to enjoy herself when she and Tyler go on vacation and her MTV promotional tours.  They really should just move from their little Michigan town to a bigger town with more opportunities ( fun things to occupy Cates time).  But then again; once the money is gone they will be running back to April and Kim with their tails between their legs!  I wonder if one day they will pressure April to sell her home they bought to support them?  It's not like Tyler can ask his sister to trade in her boob job and get his money back.

Catelynn is not depressed. The only time she is depressed is when she thinks Tyler is dipping out on her or there are other females around that might get Tyler's attention. I am sure she was suffering from "major depression" when he was living in New Orleans.
