While I personally feel Jenelle is worse, I agree that the description fits the bill in both girls' cases. But what makes me mad is the legions of fans that would defend Jenelle and not Farrah. (Not just argue that Jenelle is not as bad. Actually defend her, like, state the case that she is a good person). I am pretty sure the only real significant difference here is that Farrah did porn while Jenelle did not. The whole thing just seems like some slut shaming to me. You can be a shitty mom and person- just don't do anal on camera.

All of them have reprehensible qualities... Kail's racism, Jenelle's child neglect, Farrah's screaming and rudeness, Maci's pregnancy drinking/self righteousness, Leah's child neglect (yup I said it twice), Cate's laziness and entitlement about adoption, Amber's laziness and Matt delusions...could say the same about the guys too.

Chelsea is really pretty mediocre/basic but she comes off as a saint.

I've finally caught up with all the episodes on my DVR, and I have to say that I really did want to hate Taylor.  I still think he's just another fame whore (as evidenced by his statement that they would get another season out of this if he proposed), and I'm not sure he ever would have married Maci if it wasn't for this show.  While I don't want to give the impression that I like any of these idiots, he is actually impressing me lately.  He seems to have sort of settled into the married father role so nicely - not only with his own children but with Bentley also.  We see him playing ball with Bentley, going to his games, planning mom's birthday, teaching him about commas, and there are so many other examples.  I've come to the conclusion that he might actually be a decent guy who got "caught up" with the infamy that this show brought to his door.  But I still hate those fucking t-shirts.

They're all horrible but I agree that Farrah is the worst. I doubt Maci only dislikes her because of the porn. I'm certain she'd want nothing to do with Jenelle either but lucky for her she doesn't film with Jenelle so it's not a factor. Jenelle is awful but Farrah is next level. I feel like Jenelle could probably be "normal" for at least several hours if needed/she wanted to be. I think Farrah has about 3 minutes of "normal" in her and that's it. Jenelle manages to get boyfriends (not accounting for quality) that she has "relationships" with (no matter how twisted and dysfunctional) and has always had friendships (no matter how volitile and up and down). Farrah has apparently never had a real friend (at least since hs) and her relationship with Simon, the only one we've seen her have, is a huge sham. So while I think maci is annoying and not nearly as special/classy/etc as she thinks/wants us to believe I completely understand her feelings on Farrah. I wouldn't want to spend a second with her and waiting around for her would piss me off. Then again, i would have made it easy on myself and left much earlier.  

I guess, basically, I can see how another fucked up person could have fun with Jenelle but there's no  one who can have fun with Farrah.

On a friend level, I think I would probably be able to tolerate Jenelle for a little bit of a longer time than Farrah. But that's not saying much. But if you asked who'd I leave my kid alone with for 5 minutes? I'd pick Farrah. I don't see either having a maternal bone in their body, but at least Farrah sometimes treats Sophia like a friend. To Jenelle, her kids are inconvenient, crying, snot buckets and I always get really nervous thinking about what goes on in her home all day.

I think the bottom line is, Jenelle has better people skills. She can make friends and is capable of speaking politely when in a good mood. Farrah's voice always has a condescending tone, whether she's angry or doing her fake nice voice, it's snotty and condescending. 

In regards to parenting, I'm not even confident that Jenelle loves her kids. She is verbally abusive to Kaiser, and absent with Jace. If they are threatened, Jenelle would not jump in to help. I think Farrah loves Sophia but is too narcissistic and stuck in her head to be a good mom. She doesn't lock Sophia in a dark room all day, she instead treats Sophia as one of her girlfriends.

I think Farrah comes in last in terms of likability, but she's not abusive to Sophia or animals and I think that trumps most things morally. Jenelle, Leah, Maci (well to her unborn baby but still), Amber, and Cate/TyTy have ALL shown signs of child or animal abuse or neglect. Only Kail, Farrah, and Chelsea have not. On a show called Teen Mom. And I don't happen to like any of the three that don't (Kail and Farrah are givens and I know Chelsea is a favorite but I find her, while a nice person, deeply unlikable personally), but still, I think the abuse and neglect really come first. 

That is terrifying.

Going by the articles that came out of the reunion taping, it sounds like Catelynn was really gunning for a fight with Farrah. She was being held back from what I read. I am sure she can put that weight to use if she got involved in a fight. She is not Miss Innocent Thing as she would love to have us believe. She has a filthy mouth that goes with her April-like mentality.

Oh, whatever Maci. Just because several times over the past decade he's gotten drunk and tried to get in your pants on the rare occasion he was either single or the current gf was out of town, does not mean he's so in love with you that he's going to actually stand up in front of everyone and try and stop your wedding. Hell, I don't think there's anything in Ryan's life that means enough to him to make that kind of effort.

Everything Ryan does is a sign he's still in love with her, according to Maci's friends.

Ha, I still remember when he and Maci were on the verge of breaking up at the end of 16 and Pregnant- when Ryan told Maci they would have broken up already if it weren't for Bentley, and that he stays away from the house purposely to avoid Maci- and they admit they aren't happy together. Maci then changes tacks rather abruptly and starts talking about how they will work things  out for Bentley's sake, and you can just see the chagrin in Ryan's face about how now he has to either stay with Maci or initiate a break up, when he was hoping for a mutual decision to end things. Because god knows Ryan isn't going to deal with the fall out of a crying girl who argues against a break up. Way too much work. Much easier to just stay with her and make every excuse in the book to get of the house to avoid her.

There was a brief few scenes in Being Maci when Dallas was out of town and Ryan went out with his friends and Maci and Ryan hung out at a club and were flirting. But yeah.. alcohol was involved so MMV on that. And yes her friends are always saying things about Ryan and Maci that make no sense.

Maci's bridal shower was a joke with the whole "don't rip the bow" crap. Her girlfriend was having a cow over Maci ripping the bow? I thought she was having a seizure. As if Maci ripping three bows means she will have three more children. STFU No. Her having drunk sex with her husband and removing her birth control will result in her becoming pregnant, not ripping some stupid-ass bow.
