I've always heard that moisturizers work best when your skin's slightly damp. So I'd be right there with Brett, putting moisturizer on with one hand and fending off Sam with the other!

I watching back when Tyler and Angela had their long conversation and I just don't see this chemistry..

Sure their are a few flirty moments but it always reverts back to awkward silences and then game talk

I'm sure they're physically attracted to each other but I don't know beyond friends.

Doesn’t that kinda defeat the purpose of a shower?  :)

The theory is that if you have dry skin and moisturize immediately out of the shower - like, still wet - it'll help trap the moisture on your skin? Or something? I don't know, it makes me feel all grody to do it immediately and I usually wait until appropriately air dried.

I'm not sure why you would take my comment personally.  Everyone here seems to love Level 6.  And I'm aware of your opinion as you're quite prolific.  No shame in that.  But it does show that an opposing opinion is unpopular.

The term "echo chamber" specifically means that people are being biased. Without that term, I don't think anyone would have had any issue with your statements. "There are a lot of L6 fans here and I disagree with them" isn't saying anything controversial. "There is an L6 echo chamber here," though, explicitly means that people are being biased about L6. That's what an echo chamber is.

As @Katesus7 nicely put it, disagreeing is very typical here. Disagreeing while saying that the person you're disagreeing with is biased is going to go a different direction.

If I was Scottie my strategy would be going to Tyler and Angela and saying, "Listen, I know KC is your girl and all, but you've blind sided Fessy on the vote every week, do you really want to stop now? I know that part of you wants to see that confused look on his face again this week as much as I do."

I don’t do any of that shit at all, wet OR dry.  Must be a part gender / part generational thing - that, or Brett just has that much more prettiness in need of preservation than I do.  ;)

Living in the SW desert, I use a bit of Argan oil while still standing in the shower and then slather on an oil-based lotion (neck to toes) 5-10 mins later.

That Brett does lotion while still damp means he uses less than he would if he applied it after drying off, so his skin isn’t going to be slick or lotiony by the time he’s dry.

Having said all of that, the first time I visited Atlanta in June it took less than 24hrs to get that what works at home wasn’t gonna fly there because humidity. Lotion immediately following a shower would’ve necessitated another shower to degrease.

To lotion or not lotion depends primarily on one’s geographic location and what’s comfortable based on the regular post shower routine.

So Tyler and JC just had an alliance-mate spat. I didn't hear what it was about - it had been going on for awhile before I turned on the feeds and honestly, listening to JC's whisper is like listening to a snake hiss and it kinda hurts in headphones so I keep him turned down real low - I think it had something to do with Angela. But it ended with Tyler snapping to JC "Idiot" and then slinging pillows into his saucer all pissed off before cuddling his rock pillow and nothing but awkwardness and breathing since.

Okay, I hate JC with a burning fire deep within me but he made me laugh like a loon. To diffuse the argument with Tyler, he picked at the letters of Brett's I <3 Grandma sweatshirt (which JC is wearing) and moved them to read "I Angry", which made Tyler crack up as well.

Is there hope that Tyler might shift from Sam to JC as the back up to go if he can't get out Fessy next week?  I'd love to see JC and Fessy up on the block together next week.

I guess JC did get into Tyler's head about how it looks like he has a showmance starting with Angela. Tyler ran out of the Have Not room the moment he could and ran to Kaycee to promise her that he 100% does not have a showmance with Angela, you know that you're my best friend, F2 you and me, damage control type stuff.

Ooh. did she do this in exchange for some pinky swear deal, or is she really going to try quitting? As a former smoker, if I tried quitting cold turkey in a stressful situation like this, I'd last half a day before I'd be trash can diving. But good for her if she's serious...or she'll start up again and blame it on someone or something offending her.

Been a busy couple of days, and I've been struggling  to keep up.

One thing I have to add is in that pic of young Brett and his friend from a few pages back, it really strikes how much he looks like the young Julia Roberts around 91 or 92 when she cut off her hair. He looks like Julia trying to go in drag on Halloween or something. Go back  and look. That face. Those lips especially.  Keep in mind I like Brett. He looks fine now. But that pic is weird, man.

He does want Kaycee in F2. I remember the conversation. And both seem like they are holding firm on it. Interestingly, they agreed on Sam, noy Angela, as their third. Now I have no idea if  that still holds. That convo was before Tyler got real close with Angela.

I will say how they deal with Sam is still a major roadblock as they settle in cruise control towards the finish line. I think Tyler must be silently sweating that one as well as Kaycee. I don't think either one wants that blood on their hands. Angela could do it, especially in a double eviction, but I'd bet she'd really rather not.

Tyler is probably sweating JC too.

Now I have that Brady Bunch ep stuck in my head where the kids are mean to Alice, and she runs away. :p

Sam is the Alice with all these unruly kids. One of her personalities is even a bit like  Cousin Emma when she gets mad.  Too bad she can't line them up at the crack of dawn to march.

I missed if there was any build-up to it but the only witness to the ceremonial tossing off the butts was Kaycee. Sam told the cameras after that Production better hurry to take the garbage out so that she couldn't get them back. I'm expecting her to go in there in about an hour or two to retrieve them.

I'm glad JC got that into Tyler's head because Tyler was starting to get too comfortable and careless.  Good for JC.  I have to say he is amazingly loyal to Tyler and I'm not sure why as they never made some official final two that I know of.   I wouldn't mind seeing him replace Sam in a final three with Tyler and Kaycee at this point because he has played  really good game in the main and major credits for this past week's helping to get Scottie on the block.  Especially since he seemed to have stopped grabbing body parts right and left after the first week and has seemed to have learned his lesson about that sort of thing.

Somehow Sam has to be removed sooner than later though because without her drug of choice, her ciggys, she is liable to go totally off the edge.  I mean the last edge.  She has already gone off a number of edges leading up to the final edge.

Redheadzombie:  Sorry you got all upset above.  And yeah I took echo chamber as basically calling me a herd animal as in a sheep.  I don't mind anyone having a different opinion from me unless I feel I'm getting attacked for my position.

I know what it is like to be in a minority.  Last year I 100% hated Cody and never every changed my mind even at the end while a number of other people here decided they should vote him for America's Favorite to get back at Paul somehow.  Drove me crazy.  But hey as I said, I don't follow anyone else, I make my own decisions.  Just this season there are more people deciding on their own they like Level 6 too.  Feels weird to be in a perceived "majority" for a change.  Anyway I hope you continue to post here.

I'm sure JC thinks he made one. He told Tyler  last week how scared he was that he had thought Tyler had lost the Veto and that he was was all in with Tyler as his final two partner. Tyler didn't say much, but certainly didn't turn it down of course.

I think JC is too dangerous for Tyler anywhere to close to the end. Mostly because JC thinks he's actually run the whole game- which he hasn't- yeah he's confused FOUTTE and was the flip votes- but he actually believes he's been steering this game, when it's actually been L6- even in weeks they didn't have power. All of them have said at one time or another that they just nod and smile when JC comes to them yakking away- as they've already made the decision and he's just wandering in later to tell them what they should do. But he's so annoying with his constant yammering at people- that even in answering questions he could probably convince them all that he did these things and he didn't actually do them.

He actually has zero awareness of the house dynamics- I just heard him tell Tyler that if Kaycee wins HOH- that he will take care of it and make sure she does the right thing. Lol.

JC to me has always had DE written all over him- he's not someone that you want to sit on the block for a week- he would go insane. He's either going in a DE- or he's getting taken out at F6 or F5, not by Tyler but by either Kaycee (if she can win something) or Angela.

I truly believe that Tyler's F2 is Kaycee- she's the only F2 he has that no one suspects and they've kept it that way. Everyone sees Angela & Tyler as a pair- which is fine with him. Everyone sees Tyler & JC as pair- mostly because JC spends 95% of his day professing his love for him to everyone in the house. She's the only one that no one knows about. I think he beats her easily in a F2.

Also- imagine if Hay & Fessy leave next? They will have all 5 FOUTTE/Hive members in the house who have absolutely know idea what is going on- if Sam or JC go in there next Sam is no help- JC probably will be a bit of a help- but has no idea about L6. I'm assuming that Tyler will leave clear goodbye messages- but he isn't going to do that until he knows there is no Jury Returnee. It's possible the Jury will be completely in the dark until a L6 member gets there as to what is actually going on or has gone on in the house.

It was funny earlier Kaycee, Tyler & Angela were talking about watching the episodes and being excited to find out things that they might not know that has gone on in the game. I actually don't think they are going to be very surprised- they have known most things- except a select few- i.e. Tyler's power. Otherwise they have been pretty clued in- Foutte/The Hive on the other hand- it's all going to be completely insane to them as they don't even know the half of it. Haha.

Agreed on all counts. DE is the best time to get rid of JC as otherwise he would be the WORST.

And yes, Tyler's HoH comp strategy for the next few weeks will be "Wait until Haleigh or Fessy lose and then throw it," as the one thing that would screw his game is being HoH with only L4, Sam and JC left.

He can be HoH while Haleigh and Fessy are here still, though, of course.

Even there, he'd be better off letting other members of his group win.

Okay, I think I finally figured out what y’all were talking about regarding Angela’s mustache - which frankly I’ve never seen, although I have previously noted there appeared to be something different about her appearance in that respect.

Towards the end of BBAD tonight one of the cameras did a pretty substantial close-up of Angela’s face.  No mustache hair was evident at all - but I did notice Angela appears to have (a) an unusually thick upper lip, and (b) at least a couple of faint-but-moderately-significant scars above the actual lip and running parallel to it.

So I’m going to guess these scars are Angela’s souvenirs from countless multiple mouth smashes and faceplants during her gymnastics training days, and what y’all were calling a “mustache” may simply have been shadows thrown by the scar tissue under certain lighting conditions.

Maybe it’s just the hair, but I’m more reminded of Charlie Bucket in the movie “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” - the original, with Gene Wilder.

Maybe the scarring caught my attention simply because I’ve seen similar before. I’d mentioned earlier I used to coach girl’s LL softball.  On occasion one of the girls might catch a ball in the mouth hard enough for her front teeth to cut through the upper lip - which is one royal fucking bloody mess, let me tell you, especially if the girl had braces.  That sort of injury heals up surprisingly cleanly over time, but there still will be a not-inconsequential degree of scarring through the lip - which is what Angela’s lip reminded me of.

ETA: Okay, @Brian Cronin, ya got me - that was a way-homer.  :)

So Haleigh is pissy with Faysal at the moment because of something he said earlier about a woman he was "talking to" before the show who has a child.  She wonders what it all means for their relationship if he was semi involved with this other woman and they were on good terms when he entered the BB house.  He was trying to tell her that nothing was going to change between him and Haleigh once the show is over.  Run girl, run!  The picture below is what happened after she came out of the shower and wanted to leave the HOH room.  He was forcing the hug and she clearly didn't want to reciprocate but eventually caved.

Faysal hug 2.png

Ooh, can I play "Body Language Expert" here?  Let's see if I can break this down:

She has her hand placed between her and dooFes, acting as a barrier (or she's holding something, either way - barrier)....he has her enveloped in a massive bear hug, to the point that he's bending her spine backwards...her other hand is not visibly wrapped around him so one might assume that it, too, is clenched tightly by her opposite side...her head appears to be bent awkwardly back as if she doesn't want her face mashed into his armpit...in conclusion, she appears to want to actively escape his presence.

They only get the backyard 3 out of 7 days and they can't open the door to let in fresh air.  There's no fresh air circulation like you might have in a regular home.  Laundry doesn't get done on a regular basis.  Lots of bodies in a small space.

I personally think that quitting a habit in the Big Brother house isn't the best idea. Yes, she'll have people to keep an eye on her and monitor her as she goes through nicotine withdrawal. However, we've already seen Sam when she doesn't have her cigarettes. Yes, she'll have a patch, but I think the stress of the house and her other various mental health issues will equal a not so great result at this moment for her trying to quit.

Plus, we've seen the bang up job production's done with Sam so far. I really have no faith here. She'll be self evicting next week, I feel like. It's not even production's job to help Sam quit smoking. This is gonna be a mess this upcoming week. Imagine if she won HOH, as well.

Ok, so I've decided on my dream scenario for this upcoming week:

Sam wins HOH. She nominates Angela/Haleigh. Fessy wins veto and takes Haleigh down. Sam puts up Kaycee because, you know, women. Kaycee leaves.

I say Kaycee instead of Angela for a simple reason: Kaycee's smugness bugs me at the current moment. Also, I loathe anyone who volunteers to go on the block. I want her out for that alone. Angela fights to stay off the block while Kaycee's pushing past her alliance to be put on the block.

Yeah, Angela fought KC’s nomination 100% harder than KC did for herself. I’m still rooting for her bc I gotta root for family, but damn KC. She’s the only one out of L6 that I can’t see ever making a big move herself.

But you are forgetting one important thing.

Sam got her PERIOD FINALLY!

young Brett looks like the young Julia Roberts around 91 or 92

I think it's a combo between young Brett and his friend. It's cute. (And I don't sling cute to people often because it's condescending, but this is cute.)

I believe Tyler has a F2 with Sam as well. Am I mistaken?

You are correct. And their 3rd is apparently Kaycee but Sam's "plan-b" F2 I think is Brett? And maybe also JC.

So Haleigh is pissy with Faysal at the moment because of something he said earlier about a woman he was "talking to" before the show who has a child.  She wonders what it all means for their relationship if he was semi involved with this other woman and they were on good terms when he entered the BB house.

So Hay has some jealousy/possiveness issues too.  I'm sure she's right to question him though. It's just a side of her I hadn't seen yet because he is such an overwhelming ______________ .  Fill in the blank with the pejorative of your choice.  I have no more words for him.

Agreed. But there is the benefit of  enforced periods of being unable to get outdoors to smoke,  sometimes this long as a couple of days. Maybe she's thinking that will help?

See and that is what makes me think Sam is running a long con.

I have heard her call people her Ride-or-Die, say backdoor, blindside, and a bunch of other BB slang that makes me believe she is 100% aware of what she is doing and I think she tosses out the crazy when she gets close to, or actually makes a mistake that may give her away.

I dunno, either we are witnessing the greatest BB con in 20 seasons or she is truly BSC.

I don’t see it so much as a con but rather playing a crafty game.   She knows more than she is letting on.  I don’t believe she is acting her mental skew, she is playing despite it and knows when to exaggerate it.  Bobby Hill’s voice appears when she pushes her agenda.  That being, she is all alone in this house and game thus the supreme goat.  She  cannot see is how irritating she is and can never win.

ETA. I may be on the brink of calling her it a con.

I wonder how exactly Brett sees his endgame firming up. I can't believe he'd want Tyler there with him anymore than Tyler wants him. So I assume he thinks he's going with Angela/Kaycee. Though I haven't seen him actually voice that or put anything in motion.

Agreed, she might be letting her crazy flag fly but I think she's 100% aware of it and using it to her advantage. She's done a lot of things that make me think she knows a lot more of what's going on than she lets on.  Especially when she got so upset that she thought Tyler replaced her with Angela.  Sam keeps saying she doesn't want to play the game, she's not going to win, well then she wouldn't have made a F2 the 3rd day of the game and she wouldn't get upset when that fell through. And she keeps getting people to agree to be her 'person'.

I think Brett was initially thinking he would joke his way through then get voted out earlier. Now, I think he sees that he's gone a lot further then he thought and doesn't really have an end game. I'm guess he's thinking he would go to the Final 4 with Tyler, Kaycee & Angela. He mad a sort of Final 3 with JC & Sam but he just fell in to that one. I know Tyler has said he plans to cut Brett soon but I don't think Brett knows that or is thinking the same thing about Tyler.
