Briana's family reaches out in hopes of reconciling, but Matt insists their children will never meet her family. Elsewhere, Elena decides to tell Preston she wants to try for a baby; Jasmine may need to move out of the state so her husband can find a job; and Tonya gets vocal with Briana about Matt's mind games when the girls go apple picking.

That crossed my mind.  Watching him monopolize and steer the conversation was very unsettling.  He kept reinforcing, reinforcing how terrible she was being treated, how it hurt him how terribly she was being treated, how it shocked him how terribly she was being treated, all the while sucking up to people that he had run the same game on with her last season ("I've never seen anybody's friends treat them like that!  I'm shocked by how your so-called friends treat you!  You don't deserve to be treated like that by your friends!  Your friends are so out of line to think you're that stupid that you'd be in a bad situation! How dare your friends think so little of you!)

Drip, drip, drip...

Jasmine needs to suck it up and let her husband go take a job on the bottom rung of the career he wants, even if it's out of state, instead of tying him to her (dad's) apron strings and making him clear tables at the restaurant.

Not that there's anything WRONG with working at a restaurant, especially a family restaurant that could conceivably become a lifetime's work.  But if he had wanted to work there, presumably he would have looked for a job there sooner.

Now, I don't know if "out of state" is Oregon, Nevada, or South Carolina.  Yes, it makes a difference.  But if we're talking 6-8 months or even a year, you can make that work while living apart if it ultimately gets you where you want to be.  Suck it up, woman!

Christie gets all her worst qualities from her mother, apparently, though I do give her (Christie) credit for apparently seeing how she came off Season 1 and dialing it back a zillion.

I worry about Todd -- he looks seriously unwell.  I thought he had put on weight between the end of last season and the reunion and he looks much, much larger now.

Todd and Christie haven't discussed adopting a little person baby, have they?  I'm not saying they're required to just because they're little, but it seems like it might be easier in some ways (both the adoption itself and the raising of a child that won't be bigger/stronger than they are at an early age).  I understand it comes with additional medical expenses and worries that would be an additional burden emotionally and financially, but then you never know what will happen with any child.

I continue to like Preston and hope they make it.  I go back and forth about Elena.

Little Boss needs to decide what she wants and go for it -- without stepping on another woman's turf.  Tell him you're available when HE is, and don't see him until he's free.  (I do understand from his perspective that she probably has played this game before and he doesn't want to explode his whole life only to find out she's toying with him... but the fact is, if he's considering dumping the bird in the hand, then he doesn't really want to be with the bird in the hand long term. Plus, you know, this being on national television and all -- it's not like she's not going to find out.)

The thing that has been bugging me about the Brianna and Matt situation is her daughter.  If he truly is abusive and manipulative, then that's a really really bad situation for her daughter.. and if they are just creating a story line for drama, it's STILL irresponsible to be broadcasting that all over television.  I mean it can't be healthy for people to perceive her stepdad that way, nor is it advisable to be pretending to be in an abusive relationship for ratings when social services could easily step in.  Just a very strange and unhealthy situation whether it's real or not.

Although Matt gives me a sick feeling in my gut, remember when we saw him with his son?  I think they were at the fair or something.  The son was really happy to see him and seemed to be unafraid.  Not that a child would act a certain way for sure if he was abusive, but I just didn't get that vibe.

I do think he has a weird little person fetish, though.

I don't know about the whole fetish thing, but that kind of guy knows how to spot his prey... a woman who feels like she was never good enough for her family, meek as anything but wants to believe she's got some roaring Bonnie and Clyde thing going on on the inside...

I was incredibly put off when Matt said that Brianna's sister has done nothing with her life, and that he will not acknowledge her because she is basically a failure and a nobody. If any man I was with talked down on my sister, I would tell him where to go and how to get there. That is her sister, and Matt has every right to disagree with her, but he does not need to talk down about her. That is a manipulative tactic he's using to keep Brianna completely dependent on him. Alienation is definitely a red flag. I don't think it's for television, I think he really has control issues and maybe he looked at Brianna and saw a woman he could completely control.

Tara's hair was super-cute in the dog salon, but I winced every time she or Tonya yanked their dogs around by the neck.  At one point Tonya rinsed her dog off by holding it on its tippy toes by its little neck.  I'm sure it was limiting to be working with a full size bathtub, which was elevated.

Jen and Bill (from The Little Couple) adopted Will from China and Zoey from India.  They are both little people children.  The problem is, international adoption is at least as expensive as IVF, which Christy and Todd say they can't afford.  It also requires the parents to go the country of adoption and stay for a certain amount of time as the adoption is finalized.  Jen and Bill also have the luxury of providing top notch health care for their dwarf children - they fly them to a state to see a specialist in little people.

Maybe Christy and Todd could create a fund raiser for an adoption.  I believe Jen and Bill became aware of Zoey with the help of LPA.

I feel so sorry for Briana. If I had friends like those who say they care about me but can't shut the frack up about my husband, they would be banned from my life. She already knows how they all feel. There is no need to brow beat her on every occasion because she doesn't act the way they think she should. Her friends are the ones trying to control her. If Matt is a bad dude, she will find out about it eventually. They are married now, so her "buddies" should just respect that. Stop making her feel all alone. That loneliness alone will keep her clinging to Matt, feeling like he is all she has as a support system.

All of this. I honestly came to this same realization at the reunion last season when the "penis pic" lady came out. He zooms in on women he perceives as having low self esteem, pings on their insecurities and then takes control over their life under the guise of "loving" them. He's definitely a narcissist to say the least and I agree with Tiana- he's a sociopath. Isolating someone from their loved ones is classic manipulation.

Is it just me or does Christy seem a lot less into adopting/having a child in general than Todd. Maybe that's the source of his weight gain, anxiety about having a child. I know that's Christy was the one physically going through the treatments, but I'm sure the stress of them was not lost on Todd at all, and I think he internalizes the pain deeper than Christy quite simply because she already has kids and he doesn't. I'm not a fan of his behavior a lot of the time but I sincerely feel bad for him.

Briana looks soooo depressed to me. This is not how a newlywed should be feeling.

I'm pretty bored with these women all wanting to get pregnant. Brianna, Christy, Elena, now Terra and Jasmine talking about having another. Please find something else to focus on.

These women are in unhealthy relationships and unstable lives and yet they think NOW is a good time to have babies? It's like a baby is some badge of love or something that they must display to prove their men really do love them. It's sad to think they feel like a baby will fix their fractured marriage. It's ok to not have kids, don't they understand that?

Tonya's daughter's father visits Los Angeles; Christy is concerned Todd being overweight may affect their chances of adopting a child; and Jasmine debates whether to try for a second baby. Meanwhile, Briana keeps a huge secret from Matt.

There's no episode title, so I'm not sure if this is the correct thread.

This is only my second season, so I don't have all the past history on these people.  But I do not like Elena.  I know all these people are self-involved to a certain extent, but good Lord this woman.  I've really come to despise her and the way she keeps Preston working his ass off to cater to her every whim.  Even when she was working on Tonya's makeup, you see her eyes stray to the mirror as she checks herself out and strokes her hair.  She hates Jasmine because she's the most similar in looks to her.  Elena wants no competition, and I realize she's close friends to Terra, but I think she immediately bee lined to Terra initially because she knew she was the queen bee.  Everything about this woman grates.  When they were all screaming at each other, it was Elena's voice and her pursed bloated lips that drove me crazy.  She was just cold as ice as she swanned out of the room.  No emotion at all at seeing how upset Terra was.

Now Tonya, on the other hand - I've come around in how I feel about her.  I just couldn't stand her and her little boss ways last season.  I'm enjoying seeing her emotional and unsure side.  Even though she was being very immature at the restaurant, she was genuinely upset at Terra's upset.  Even how she talked to Jasmine was a bit more level and mature than how she's dealt with her before.

I'm liking Jasmine and her husband.  It's very humbling to be seen in what some feel is a menial position, but I think he manned up.  I don't know details of the position he would have after training out of state, but I think she's a little short-sighted at pushing for a second baby, and absolutely ruling out the temporary distance.

I can barely stand Brianna's scenes.  I'm sure there's a little truth in what she says about her family, but her willful blindness to Matt's problems is irritating.  She exposes her child to this man, and is pushing to have a baby with him after he showed he was willing to walk away from his previous child to be with the new chick.  It's a bandaid baby, and they've been married for five minutes.  I hate the look on her face when people start in on her, even though I appreciate it's frustrating.  She's like a teenager - the more they dislike Matt, the more determined she is to keep him.  Oppositional-defiance at its best.

Christy's my favorite, followed by Terra.  I know everyone seems to hate Christy, and I strongly disliked Terra before Penny came along, but I enjoy their closer friendship, and I don't think they're faking it.

I'm sick of how every episode involves a screaming brawl.  Really, if they dislike one another so much, why do they continue to party together?  And I'm tired of Jasmine and her parties.  Why do they need names such as "mommy party" and "date night?"  And to be a SAHM with an unemployed husband, she sure pulls out all the stops with her get-togethers.  When she hosts them at home, she has a bartender and a caterer--just for "the girls."  Ridiculous!

Elena was originally a very nice person until last season when she turned all self-absorbed princess.  Even though Christy is nicer than she was in the first season, she still grates on my nerves with her constant whining about Todd's weight--he's been overweight since they started dating.  And she isn't so slim herself.  I can't believe Brianna can be so blind to Matt's sleaziness, that Tonya was so huffy about "date night" (why not just stay home?) and that Jasmine feels the need to tell everyone what everyone else said about them!  Ugh, I need to take a break from this show.  I think I'll start right away.

She really is a vain , cold bitch. She immediately becomes miserable as soon as any attention is deflected off of her. She's lucky to have Preston. I CAN NOT believe her first butt job wasn't enough for her, so she takes Terra to the plastic surgeon with her to show the Dr. how much bigger she wants her ass. What a piece of work she is.

Jasmine works.  She said this episode or last that now that hubbie was unemployed, she was the sole bread winner as a beautician.

Really, she didn't have to go to the couples dinner. Lord knows, if Elena doesn't want to go somewhere, she doesn't!  Then again, I'm sure Tonya was told by production she had to go to stir some shit for the episode and her being there gave Terra a chance to lay in to her. Not sure Tonya was expecting that little surprise.

I take "date night" to mean a time when people can get baby-sitters and have some fun socializing without their babies/kids.

It's not "let's all get together and fuck in the same room"!!!

So, having a spouse/boyfriend/side-piece really doesn't come into the equation.

That "fight" may have been the most contrived, scripted thing I've seen on this show yet.  And that's saying a lot.

More and more, the only people I can stand on this show are Tonya's ex's.  Because they're the only ones with their heads screwed on straight.

Jasmine offers to throw a bachelorette party for Jasmine on the condition that she invite all the girls; Tonya and Terra find common ground; Elena learns that she is pregnant; an unexpected guest crashes Christy's housewarming party.

Did the episode cut off before the doctor gave Elena and Preston the news for everyone, or was it just my DVR?

That's where the episode ended. The doctor said, "Elena, Preston, brace yourselves for some unexpected news" or something like that, and Elena asked if everything was okay. End of episode.

I am confused about why exactly Briana and Matt met up with Leif, Briana's ex-husband. To talk about custody...or something? It just seemed really odd and I'm wondering if I missed something there.

Oh my gosh, that's maddening!  They showed that scene and every ad break, then didn't actually say what it was?!  Ugh.

My guess is twins.  Or maybe she's farther along than they think.

I can't imagine how that vain woman would deal with her body growing with twins! She will be running to the plastic surgeon as soon as the last one is popped out!

I don't know either.  But I loved how Briana's ex brought her up short when she tried to act all magnanimous for the cameras, saying "I'd never want to change your visitation schedule" or words to that effect.  He interrupted her and said "it's in a Court Order, you don't have any say in that anyway".

I only half-watch this show occasionally, when my wife's watching it, she's really into it.  But today we ran into Preston at his job and she recognized him and was making small talk with him about the show.  The girl working with him apparently didn't know what this show is he's on, lol.  I was like, hey, I don't know any more than you do.  So we let them talk with my wife bemoaning the fact that the show runs one minute over so she misses the previews on the dvr, and him telling her to be sure and catch the next episode, lol.  Anyway, I don't think they show where he works so I won't say it here to protect the guy's privacy.  He was very nice, though.

Poor Brianna. I dislike her so called friends so much. Dumb arse Terra, "if she wanted me to come to her bachelorette party wouldn't she invite me?" Nooooo, the person throwing it invites you, which she did.

Just want to say this about little boss. IMO she is only turning to her ex because he has been chasing after her for years and since she is the only one without anyone and there is no one else on the horizon, she is taking the sure thing. Or so she thought. Now that she is allowing him to catch her he is balking. Lol, just like a scumbag, when she was saying no, he was all in, now that she is saying yes, he is running for the hills in the opposite direction. Now He has to think about it. Lol

Love the fireplace surround in Christie's

house. Todd needs to cut the pasdive aggressive remarks, and Christie is tiresome nagging on his weight. Doesn't help. It's not like losing weight is easy or fast.

This show must spend a fortune in junk jewelry for these ladies.

Tonya always looks beautiful in her screen talks. Her eyes are amazing. Good luck on her surgery.

Did Terra say that she hates a "man bush"? Or ambush? Sounded like the first one Lol.

Terra's curls looked great in the wind outside at Christy's house.

Continue to hate Brianna's story. Who cares? Go away.

New gal's man was TRASHED.  And not in a remotely good way.  She must be really deep in denial (or thirst to be on the show) to have not sent/taken him home rather than let him appear on national television that way.  Not that she's his keeper, but DAMN.

Matt's awful, but this whole lack of enthusiasm for the trip thing is obviously a play to boot Brianna from the show by not "playing" with her.

I'm shocked at how bad Christie and Todd's marriage has gotten.  I feel for both of them, but I'm glad she put the kibosh on trying to conceive under these circumstances.  He was so radically changed by the time of the last reunion that I noticed it.  Like he gained a quarter of his own body weight in the couple of months between the end of filming and the reunion.

I know Terra wants a big family, but the baby is struggling with medical issues and I don't know what her husband does for income.  Maybe the show has bumped them up financially, but it obviously hasn't erased her credit problems and kudos to him for caution.

I don't know how Elena can manage two babies.  She's going to have amazing arms from the workout of just lifting them in infancy.  I don't believe dwarf babies are particularly smaller/lighter than average sized babies, are they?     Head and trunk size would stay about the same? I hope they're being sensible with their money so they can afford help in the early years.

What has happened to this show, I just don't enjoy it as much anymore. I am so over the Brianna and Matt thing, if she wants to be an idiot then let her be an idiot. Why does she come to the get togethers and why do they invite her if all they do is fight. They need to let her be..it's getting tiring.

You know last season I thought Jasmine was fake, but I am really enjoying her this season. I think she is the most honest along with Elena. Yeah she has a big mouth but she isn't hiding anything from anyone.

Loved Angelique's reaction to her parents potential reunion and it's obvious they are sleeping together. Wonder how Kerwins girlfriend feels after watching this show knowing her man is cheating .

Agree with Joe, they need to hold off on another baby for now until things with Penny stabilize.

It's ended up precisely where the Real Housewives franchises ended up: "socializing" situations (parties, trips, etc.) which are obviously arranged by Production, and an endless series of conflicts (most of which involve harpies shrieking so loudly you can't understand what anyone is saying).

Terra has no interest in having more children.  But no one's going to pay to have cameras just follow her while she waddles through her boring-ass life.

If I had to list reasons why Christy shouldn't be a foster parent, I don't think Todd's weight would crack to top 5. But they need a storyline.

I suppose Elena realized that her phony "entrepreneurship" (another standard Housewife motif) wasn't going anywhere so she ponied up for fertility treatments and ended up getting more than she bargained for.  Serves her right.  She's nothing but a shit-stirrer anymore.

And Tonya's just an asshole who uses the "keeping it real" conceit to justify her assholery.  The best part of this whole show has been Ja and Kerwin calling her on her bullshit.

1. Matt better work on a way to KEEP Brianna on the show since that appears to be their only source of income.

2. I'm sick of Christie complaining about Todd's weight. She need to lose a few herself. There has to be a reason he has put on so much weight. He must be very unhappy about something....Is it because he wants a child so badly? Or maybe he's not in to Christie so much anymore.

3. Why the hell has Christie's parents moved in with them?

That can't be good for the relationship. Especially the way the mother just eggs Christy on.

I wonder if they moved in initially to take care of the daughter after her surgery?

Worst bachelorette party ever. Brianna running out when the stripper came in...that was hilarious! "I"m married" she says as she high tails. Probably because Controlling Matt who flirts online with random internet women is going to flip out if she even blinks at a stripper at her bachelorette party. Their whole relationship is so weird and I agree with Tonya, she doesn't seem happy, she seems like she has Stockholm Syndrome.
