Morrigan2575 March 19, 2017 Share March 19, 2017 MG confirmed what the paps already told us, KC/LL is only in one scene for the LoT finale. I'm going to assume their other information (vision sequence) is also correct. Going by what CL and MG said, I'm guessing this is Sara getting closure. Link to comment
Sakura12 March 19, 2017 Share March 19, 2017 I'm happy to get the confirmation that Laurel is only in one scene. I'm fine with a closure scene that will make it so we never have to see Laurel again. 2 Link to comment

Kile 10:30 PM PDT, March 18, 2017http://www.etonline.com/tv/213263_arrow_the_flash_supergirl_legends_of_tomorrow_paleyfest_panel/ Quote 9. However, he’s still not over Barry Allen erasing his daughter. As Grant Gustin opened up about his character’s struggle to deal with the consequences of the Flashpoint timeline, Ramsey made sure to remind him that one of those consequences was a wrinkle that replaced Diggle’s little girl, Sara, with a son. * * *10. There may be a light at the end of the tunnel for Olicity fans. Amell answered a question from a young fan about Oliver and Felicity’s (Emily Bett Rickards) currently-estranged relationship, teasing, “That’s not really up to me, but I will say that they have some really, really cool stuff coming up.” * * *15. The Flash/Supergirl musical crossover was sort of inspired by Joss Whedon. Kreisberg got an applause break at the mention of the upcoming “gimmick episode” -- meant in the most flattering way possible -- saying Whedon “did those kind of episodes the best.” (Buffy the Vampire Slayer featured a musical event of its own, as well as a famously silent season four episode, “Hush.”) 16. One of those Whedon influences was the motivation to forward the characters’ season-long plots within the fun escapism of the musical. “We kind of set it up so that, on both Supergirl and The Flash, Barry and Kara were both at a romantic crossroads,” Kreisberg explained. “So when you go into the musical episode, they’re sort of both in the same place, and they can go on this journey together to either get back the love that they think they’ve lost or not.” * * *29. The youngest DC show is something of a red-headed stepchild. “Flash is a family drama, and Arrow is kind of a crime drama, and Legends is insanity,” Kreisberg listed with a laugh, though Legends executive producer Phil Klemmer insisted, “We never set out to blow anyone’s mind.” Edited March 19, 2017 by tv echo 1 Link to comment

Supergirl dropped 55% from its ratings last year, but it's not a fair comparison because it was on a much bigger network. Flash dropped 22% from last season, while Arrow's ratings actually improved in season 3 compared to season 2 (+11%). But that's also a dodgy comparison because Arrow benefited from the first crossover event with Flash that season. If you just look at the ratings themselves, Arrow season 3 (1.02 demo, 2.76 mil) did about the same as Flash season 3 (1.09 demo, 2.91 mil viewers), and Arrow season 2 (0.92 demo, 2.62mil viewers) did much better than Supergirl season 2 (0.79 demo, 2.54 mil viewers) so far. RedVitC March 20, 2017 Share March 20, 2017 I think he just meant it as a joke (hopefully), but it ended up hitting a wrong note. Stephen seems to smile initially, but then when the camera swings back it's gone. The laughter in the vid in general seems more like shocked laughter to me especially since it changes once it really lands, like Grant's face (or maybe I'm just projecting since in public settings my first reaction is sometimes also nervous laughter especially when the pressure is high to keep the atmosphere in the room light and pleasant. And then afterward I'm like, why?). 5 Link to comment

In response, SA said: "That's - that's really not up to me. Um, but I will say that they have some really, really cool stuff coming up." (Visible, positive audience reaction) DCTV/Arrowverse Paleyfest 2017 Panel - The Flash, Supergirl, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow Published on Mar 19, 2017, by TheDCTVshow -- (At around 7:38 mark) Moderator Kevin Smith commented on how Diggle is so serious on Arrow, but then when he crosses over, he gets the funny lines. In response, DR said: "You know, every time I get to go to The Flash, I get to have so much fun... You know, John Diggle was kinda funny the first season, like, all these one-liners. And every time Oliver says something, I would say, 'No' (makes deadpan facial expression) ... so there was some levity there. But, you know, I think, after when - probably when Felicity came, it kinda changed things, it really lightened the show up. But every time I go to The Flash, John Diggle needs to be lighter... It's actually a lighter atmosphere with Flash... There's bright light... Everybody's smiling, everybody's happy... And we're literally separated by a wall... By the way, they have cans of soda on their show. We don't...." (This was when MG interjected something about how if Arrow got 1.0 ratings - and then there was visible cast/audience reaction.) The last video here also has the MG moment in it (he drops his bomb at the 9:23 mark). It's (at least for me) a bit less blurry and the camera part of the time is on different faces. You can see better that MB and GG were doing the shocked laughing. I think though my favorite part is the look that stays on CP's face and is still there even after the rest have got it under control and KS starts talking. tv echo March 20, 2017 Share March 20, 2017 (edited) Audrey Hepburn sang it better... Kara Croons in Supergirl/Flash Musical Crossover Clip March 19, 2017; 6:10 p.m.http://www.vulture.com/2017/03/supergirl-flash-musical-crossover-video.html?mid=twitter_vulture Quote The Flash and Supergirl share DNA insofar as they’re both part of the same superhero family on the CW, but they also, in a way, share a parent: Glee. Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist — the titular heroes of each respective show — are both alumni of Ryan Murphy’s musical bildungsroman, and they get to remind us of it once more this week. The two series are crossing over for a musical two-parter in which each star will get to belt and lilt, and we have an exclusive clip of a scene in which we find Supergirl herself, Kara Danvers, singing the timeless “Moon River.” Watch, listen, and melt. I'm betting that the context of this scene is that Barry and Kara have just awakened in the Music Meister's dream world. Both of them have rather confused looks on their faces that to me say that their thoughts are "Where the hell am I, what the hell is going on, and what the hell am I doing?" Given that emotional/mental state, it's no wonder that Kara's rendition of "Moon River" is somewhat less than stellar (also bear in mind that this dream world is set in the 40s, and "Moon River" wasn't even written until 1961). 2 Link to comment
JJ928 March 20, 2017 Share March 20, 2017 I still wanna know why there's only one woman signing and a bunch of dudes? Why couldn't they have given Candice a song? I mean, were they fearful that she may be a better singer, and outshine Kara & Barry? If I recall correctly CP said she'd love to sing when this was announced, and yet she isn't singing while they made sure to accommodate Barrowman. One of the few reasons I hate this show. 7 Link to comment
Chaser March 20, 2017 Share March 20, 2017 I've watched the scene, I get it. Vocally it wasn't there IMO. CL has a decent singing voice too. It would have nice to have her and CP be apart of the musical portion. 1 Link to comment
JJ928 March 20, 2017 Share March 20, 2017 (edited) LOL I'm gonna have to disagree on CL singing, I've seen her girl band videos. GHScorpiosRule March 20, 2017 Share March 20, 2017 (edited) Huh. I thought Fred Astaire was famous for his talent with dancing, not singing. Anyhoo, I, for one, can't wait until tomorrow because hearing Grant sing two bars from Grease's "Summer Lovin'" wasn't enough, and I've been clamoring to hear him sing for over two seasons now. I really like the sound of his singing voice, so I'm sure I won't be disappointed. I was hoping to get some singing when Barry ended up on Kara's Earth last season, but was deprived then, too. So I don't mind sitting at my table of one, eagerly anticipating Tuesday's Flash. And if it makes me an unfeminist because I'm not up all in arms over the other actresses from the other shows not appearing or singing, so be it. statsgirl March 20, 2017 Share March 20, 2017 That famous line about Fred Astaire that is the evaluation of his first screen test: "Can't act. Can't sing. Balding. Can dance a little." Actually he had a pleasant singing voice that didn't require autotune. I still have nightmares about Peter Bogdanovich's At Long Last Love which ruined those great songs for me and I got flashbacks to that from the clips of The Flash episode. But mostly I'm bored with Flash and Supergirl spending so much time on male characters I don't care about and the break-up was so stupid just to get Barry single for this episode. so while I'd like to see Barrowman's piece, right now I think I'll just catch the clip later.
