The "86 baby" sounds like nothing more than some teenage Twitter CIN fan's who weren't even born yet wishful thinking. 

The workaround for that is that Ron could pull some General Hospital Lulu/Charlotte shenanigans , who was conceived using Lulu's eggs and a surrogate when she was kidnapped by Stavros Cassadine. Ben could have been a test tube baby conceived using Marlena's egg and John's sperm, held in stasis for several years, and then carried to term by a surrogate that convinced Clyde he was the father. By 1986-87 test tube babies and IVF surrogacy were established tech. Why would anyone do this? *Blah blah Stefano obsessed blah blah*

Speculation Stefano did this as the ultimate revenge so he could raise their kid and use him/her against them which I think is rather soapy tbh.

That makes my head hurt. 😁   But I still think the Twitter CIN worshipers are just imagining Ben as Mar/RoJohn offspring. One, because it ties Ben to supercouple parents and helps cement his legacy on the show. And two, because it would shut down any chance of romance some day coming out of Ben and Marlena's strange boytoy patient/shrink relationship. I mean, many of us have noticed it. Although even related it's still possible. If Ron ever gets a hold of some Freud books, the CIN fans are still screwed, mother and son or not.

Soapdirt says "you won't want to miss this!" regarding the Abigail stuff to which I say, oh yes, I do want to! I know Abigail is not exactly popular here, but I hate seeing legacy characters axed when there are so many USELESS characters that should go instead.

And yeah, I know Days takes death as seriously as a hangnail, but still. And it's clear NBC has learned squat from the last explicit (as rumored this will be!) with Frankie Frame on Another World.

That disaster would help kill the show a few years later.

But all Ron knows is camp and short-term crap for shock value, so...

I don't get why they don't recast the character unless they wanted the character gone regardless. If that's the case I'm ok with her being killed off because they can't ruin these characters more after that. Its not going to have the same emotional tone without MR's Jennifer and JJ being there. 

Plus its Days if enough people complain she will be brought back.

I think it's back to MM because of Thao's response on Twitter to someone upset about Abigail's death.  He said something about he's going to miss her but then deleted it.

I can honestly say this Tripp spoiler has shocked me. I like the kid and have been rooting for him to find happiness and a woman who will appreciate him. He seems to be thriving as Salem's other doctor and I thought he had nice chemistry with Chanel. Now he's going to sacrifice himself for that drip Allie? What a waste of a Johnson family member. I'm surprised this wasn't spoiled way earlier, and I hope that means he's not really dead and only Salem dead. Does this "divine intervention" mean he'll pop up from the morgue table? Will Aunt Adrienne lead him back from the light? Also...throwing himself out a window while possessed by the devil sounds a lot like Father Karras's sacrifice at the end of The Exorcist.

I feel like if Tripp was actually out for any length of time, we'd have heard about it before now. We've been hearing about Abigail's death for months.

As I have said before, with all of these leaks and rumors about Abby being killed, there have been no stories about MM leaving. I think it will be a plot to trap someone (Gwen?). I would have said Leo, but he is going to be around for a long while, so it's not him. I would LOVE for it to be Gwen in an Abby mask, as also has been mentioned. I don't like the character of Gwen and it would be great to have her be killed while she was attempting, yet again, to hurt someone. I don't think there is anything about her that is rootable. We have the constant being good/being bad wallowing from Nicole "trying to do the right thing" and that's enough.

I do hope they get this Sarah looking for her baby story over with quickly. There have been too many plot twists, and even though I cannot stand the Sarah portrayal, enough already. 

And, yes, that story above makes it pretty evident that Tripp will live, and I am guessing that this will clear the air and have him back with Allie since Chanel and Johnny seem to be together.

So, they just allude to a baby-saving to get Baby Bo back and not tell what that is, even though everyone knows?

While the show has no problem killing characters when they want, I just can see them having the devil be responsible for the death of a decent character as it would move this silly possession story from campy to tragedy especially as Ron would most likely want to revisit it later in all its silly campiness.

Poor Steve. Clearly he's crying over his dead son's body. I'm now really worried that Bo is there to escort Tripp to the afterlife and that is what the "divine intervention" spoiler means. 

It's good to see Bo/Peter Reckell but I was hoping it would back-from-the-dead not his spirit. I guess like his sister, Isabella, Bo is going to stay dead-dead.

How in the world is it possible that we (or at least I) have no idea what happens to Tripp? I've been searching for spoilers all over the place to try to get an idea whether Tripp lives or dies. But it seems like it's only SOD that spoiled his death (on the cover, no less) and then just left it at there being some divine intervention. The rest of this week's spoilers and next week's have no mention of how Steve, Ava, Kayla, or anyone else reacts to his death. Is there a funeral? Does he come back to life? How is it that he dies (or "dies") and then there's not one mention of the fallout of his death in any of the spoilers? I swear, all my favorite characters on this show always get the shaft.

There was that tweet from Thaao about missing Marci. But I never saw anything about Tripp dying until last week and never saw anything saying Lucas was leaving so it was obvious he'd be resurrected.

I know he was brought back today but I've been reading hints by those who do spoilers that he may be gone.  He's in Beyond Salem 2 as so he'll at least be around for July but not sure afterwards.

I was a huge Chad and Abby fan in 2015/16 but they aren't the same couple anymore.   I'm not a fan of MMs version.  IF it were KMs Abby I'd be sad about her upcoming death but I think Ron has ruined the couple.  That and the recast
