I think Tinsley's dress is ridiculous. It looks like she's about to perform on some country music show. She needs to grow up. Can't believe it cost 7 grand. Yikes!

I continue to fail to understand why it's necessary to wear evening dresses to these reunions. They are in no way formal affairs. Ramona and Sonja look particularly crazy and Ramona needs a haircut and bangs, stat!

I like the formal wear, I feel that the reunion is the perfect place to let us have one last look at their best.

I don't like it when I see HW's dressed in things that I can see anywhere.  Luann, who looks fabulous in everything often makes horrible choices, (someone said discount Chico's/Marshall's sale rack). She is lucky she looks good in anything because she often dresses matronly and in unflattering clothes. When Carole isn't dressing like a grumpy slouchy teen she often has good choices (I do love leather) but she has made some horrible decisions style wise (mosquito netting over gym clothes and last years reunion dress) but as much as I have disliked her I do like a lot of her clothes. Sonja tends to dress in clothes that are kind of timeless, lots of classic clothes, no real trends but nothing really dated out of style either. Tinsley dresses like a baby doll, the only thing missing is a lollipop. Bethenny, I like b&w clothes but sometimes she just gives off a Beetlejuice/Cruella DeVille vibe especially when the huge shoulder pads come into play. Ramona, whatever she wears her horrible personality comes through and she looks dowdy not sexy with her pigeon chest boobs.

I told you, the Countess isn't as well off as once thought! She's been beggin' with those outfits, embarrassed herself asking for something to wear from Carole's designer friends, then staying in the attic at Ramona's tacky townhouse! I don't like Dorinda's dress for a reunion but I think I like it in general.  I don't like Tinsley's $7,000 dress at all.  Ramona's is ok but she could've done better.  I like all of the rest of them and from the pic Lu looks the best, IMHO. 

Was it NY or BH last year where all of the women wore white?  It looked really good.  

 

For the record I am NOT watching Dallas.  I watched a bit last year, why I am not sure, but nothing about them this year is a draw for me. 

Too bad they couldn't find a real life Sue Ellen, Pam, Crystal, Lucy, Donna or even a Miss Ellie.  That would be gold but this group is a mess.  I would love for DC and Miami to return with some of the same ladies.

I'll go first -- I pick Tinsely -- assuming the dress looked good when seated (that skirt might be a bit too stiff) I'd put Tinsley in this  (Dior 2013). The dress is super fem - to please her girly side - but not sentimental or ruffly (and hair up, but not in a pony).

I'd keep Carole, Luann, Bethenny, Dorinda, and even Sonja in what they are wearing. I think they all look good this year.

Tinsley's dress at least has a nice color on her, but the rest of the dress is just...no.

Also don't mind the color of Ramona's dress on her, but the fit just wrong.

Not sure she can't afford a good wardrobe. Money can't buy you class, remember, and I think she just has really bad taste. If it were just a matter of money, she could follow Sonja's lead and invest in and wear more classics. That kind of style lasts forever. Can't wait for toinght!

If Lu was smart she'd attach herself to a newer designer who needs the exposure but whose costs are not as high as the established brands. Lu is likely too old to be a traditional muse but, annoying as she often is, wears the hell out of most anything she puts on (red camel toe jumpsuit excluded). She'd get a great wardrobe and the designer would get some spotlight.

Lu could offer to go on Project Runway as the muse. All of the designers could do a reunion look for her and she could choose which one fits the best and is the most flattering. I'm sure even Heidi Klum could even give her a few tips on how to wear it well.

I remember hearing that Erika Jayne had to get a release from Bravo to appear on Dancing with the Stars. If true, I think there is no way that Bravo will give Lu leave to film Project Runway. Project Runway was their flagship show. The lawsuit delayed the airing season 6 of Project Runway almost a year. I think Project Runway is in place where Bravo's eye does not see.

On one of the earlier seasons of PR there was an auffed candidate named Laura (redhead, too lazy to look her up) who did some lovely designs. By George, you've solved it!

Will Carole get a highlight reel this season? She was the only HW last season who didn't get one. Very surprising and disappointing since I for one was enthralled with Adam's dick pics on her unlocked phone, poor, ungroomed Baby's photo shoot and the dog wedding and couldn't believe they didn't bring it up and show us the backstage pre-wedding jitters.  If they give her one this season she can expound on butt plugs, anal sex and how she and Adm shacked up but never lived together.

You're thinking of Laura Bennett. Unfortunately, she's largely given up fashion design and is now a competitive archer. I was thinking Rami Kashou if can get him to tone down the draping and frippery. Yup, that's her. She had real talent so it's too bad she's no longer designing -- her fashions were refined and sophisticated and I could see Lu wearing them (get on this, Bravo!) I remember Rami, too, and his work was, likewise, beautiful even with the incessant draping.

It's finally come to me in a lightening bolt. Most of us who post here are lower, middle or some possibly upper middle class. The women on these HW shows are all upper class women. Those people, men and women, live very different lives than we do. Adultery and infidelity are nothing unusual to those people. It seems from what I read on line that this is actually the norm-cheating, lying, covering up, drug use etc. As long as they get good press and the money keeps flowing, they will ignore less than moral behavior. For those of us who are of lesser rankings, the morals/ethics we were taught by our parents have stuck with us and we've tried to pass them along to our children. Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case for future generations based on the nude photos, sex tapes, etc published online. Maybe when we're so outraged by a man cheating on his wife/kids (or vice versa), we're just all totally out of touch with society in 2017. That makes me profoundly sad.

Laura's husband had cancer and passed away. I suspect his death probably prompted her break from fashion. Additionally, she had her 6 kids to raise alone.

This show more so than any of the other shows in the franchise could probably use a friend who is a stylist. Not just because some of the women need the help, but because New York is the fashion capital of the U.S. We rarely get shopping footage or fashion shows. It might be fun to mix up the events a little. It's basically dinner after dinner after dinner. Dinner in the Berkshires. Dinner in the Hamptons. Dinner in Vermont. Dinner in Mexico. Dinner at Bethenny's apartment. Dorinda and Carole had the charity auction air, but I suspect it only made it to because of Luann's friend Barbara. Carole had her neighbor's art show. I need some variation.

Carole's really been disappointing me of late! Not like it was so gross I would be shocked, but to embarrass Dorinda like that while taping was so rude IMO! Poor Dorinda needs to move on from these sloppy b!tches!
