You can walk around barefoot in a lot of places on cruise ships (been on 17 cruises).  But you still can't wear a pretty lace dress and walk into the dining room barefoot.  I suspect she took off the shoes as soon as she left the dining room, and there was no one around to buckle them back up for her, so she left them off for a picture.  Because she has demonstrated on the show that she can't buckle her own shoes.

Having just watched a thoroughly enjoyable documentary, The Barkley Marathon, I can't help but compare the way our girl looks after completing a 5K with those who are successful doing the "fun run" which is only 3/5 of the entire race but is 60 miles in length with elevation gain and traversing a tunnel under a closed penitentiary. The before and after photos of some of the runners are quite remarkable at how good they look.

 

When I saw the photo of Whit swimming in her clothes for a minute I thought she was suddenly adopting Duggar type modest swimwear - yeah, no just another example of succumbing to temptation.

The timeline of this "romance" has been one of the bigger mysteries of the MBFFL canon. :-) Her huge, later deleted, outburst on Instagram and Facebook about how she was played by some guy who was engaged to be married to someone else was posted in early/ mid April of 2017. She was already being Facebook friends with Nada Louis, who outed herself as the cheated-on fiancée.  There was no information about how or when Whitney hooked up with Avi or for how long, or how she found out about Nada, or whether Whitney found Nada first or Nada found Whitney first. Within a few days of posting, Whitney pulled all the info down. Then put it all up again. Then took it all down again, but left a few pointed comments. By a week after the original outburst, Whitney had removed all mention of it, aside from some cryptic references to a new tattoo and her need to recover from something. Nada Louis also deleted all reference to Avi.  Avi's Facebook page was taken down completely.

I seem to remember Clarewalks did some good detective work to find out that Nada was posting about her betrayal by Avi apparently long before Whitney's original outburst (?) (Do I have that right, Clarewalks?)  And there's a least one fan site that says Whitney's thing with Avi came before she hooked up with Lennie.

I await with interest the version that is presented by TLC. Certainly there was no indication anywhere that Whitney was ever engaged to the guy. In fact, the one or two gossip pieces printed about the story at the time both referred to Whitney as the "side chick."

(The guy's name was definitely Avi, not Ali or Ari. Not that I think that's important, because TLC and Whitney will make up whatever they want to about this  storyline, but if someone wants to go googling, it helps to know his name was Avi Lang. Not much to be found, though.)

Since it was in Apr 2017 rather than a couple of years ago as I thought, it's conceivable that the crew was filming this story arc more or less in real time. But, as you point out, it does seem to be a fabrication that Twit was anywhere near a wedding chapel with Avi.

No problem, Dot. And,  in fact, you may be right that the Avi connection happened a long time before she posted her outburst in April. I thought it might have been possible that whatever was going on with Avi ended before she learned that he had been engaged to Nada at the time, rather than it being the reason for the breakup. Even an after-the-fact revelation that she was nothing but the chick on the side would be enough to enrage Whitney to the point of posting her fury on Facebook in April. But whatever actually happened, I feel confident in saying we won't see much of it on My Big Fake Fabulous Life!

She has been "icky" with Tal for years, e.g., that B-roll video on the TLC website where she forces Tal to straddle & kiss her. I have no doubt whatsoever that she's been in his pants at some time or another.

Honestly I'm shocked she hasn't "leaked" a sex tape at this point, I'm guessing the only reason she hasn't is she isn't as proud of her body as she claims to be. She is just so desperate to be viewed as sexual that it comes off as so weird.

Truth. When I was young, I lacked confidence and tried to make up for it by being "out there". If it was obnoxious, I did it. Looking back, I behaved like an idiot--someone I'd shake my head at today. Thankfully I grew out of it and though I still have confidence issues (don't we all a little?), I have learned other ways to deal--though it took a LOT of introspection and admittance of stupid behavior.

So when I say I see through her, I really do. You're a 30-something woman, Whitney. Grow up and enter adult-land. Even Paris Hilton has done that (at least she filmed "The Simple Life" when she was in her early 20s).

See, this is the attention-whoring shit I was talking about. Instead of wearing the likely more appropriate, "too big" top (yeah, sure Whit), she falls back into "showing off". A sports bra?
