Whenever I read the words "dance battle", well, first I have to stop laughing, and then I picture the video for Pat Benatar's "Love is a Battlefield" where 90-pound Pat scares away the slimy pimp with her menacing dance. Loved Pat Benatar but that video was ridiculous. As is the concept of a "dance battle".

I'll stick with morbidly obese. I don't think there is a more succinct phrase in describing a medical condition so severe that it creates deadly health problems.

I honestly just can't with that part. Also pretty sure twit's injury is well before bab's stroke (i am really glad she is ok esp after going through that with my parents and my grandmother) as the previews that ran over the weekend saw twit waddling to her car sans boot after her dad called her.

And this  explains a lot of why Todd was pissy with her the whole trip. She bailed on him at the bar the night before the workshop. I am not a big drinker any more either but I at least go out with my friends watch them get wasted and laugh :) and dance and have a good time. She couldn't even do that for Todd.

side note: just a thought but could Todd be hungover the next day? Maybe that would explain him getting sick.

Whit doesn't really drink? Yeah, which is why a while back we saw her bedroom littered in alcohol bottles.

Given Whit's history of depression, her general personality and it generally looking like Buddy is a drunk and people who don't really drink tend to not like living with drunks I'm guessing Whit has a drinking problem that contributes greatly to her weight issues.

Didn't I read somwhere that she broke her toe before her cruise last year? If so, that would put it before Babs' stroke since that occurred just before the season premiere.

Wasn't she "injured" before the cruise and therefore couldn't really dance during it? I want to say it was a broken big toe or something. Ketzel discussed it here. It was in early December when she posted about it on Facebook.

The 2nd photo is dated a day after the first, so she probably got an X-ray that confirmed it was broken, not dislocated. And "pirouette"? How could she possibly believe she could get 400# up on one toe?

I would believe that Whitney doesn't really drink if she included the words "at the bar" at the end of that sentence. Drinking at a bar in NY is expensive enough, but think of how much someone Whitney's size would need to drink to feel any kind of buzz. Even TLC money can't pay for that.

ITA - I would think maybe a heavy night out would contribute to Todd's puking (even it the class was the next evening as he claimed). 

As to Twit - I agree that it's not so much about drinking, you're out with your "eternal dance partner" for the your first trip together to NYC. You don't have to get snockered but have a drink, socialize with him, go dancing (since you're life is all about dance). I wonder if it was more that she was feeling a little (or a lot) "country mouse in the city" or maybe "big fat less-than-fabulous country mouse in the city surrounded by way-more-fabulous not-fat city peeps"?? So much for being fabulous and oh-so-comfortable in her body. And maybe a little fear about being able to handle the Fitness Marshall class the next day?? I'm going more with the first theory.

ITA with your theory. Plus being a 350+ pound country mouse is exhausting, in & of itself, without touring NYC. She was too worn out from her day to enjoy an evening out. Todd couldn't have chosen a worse partner to accompany him to NYC unless he invited me, a 78-year-old cripple. (Altho I would have enjoyed the gay bar!?)

Just considered this in the Big Apple thread. I don't consider it a big deal to dry heave or vomit during hard workouts, happens to me often on hill workouts. But it did occur to me maybe he was hungover!

So these are some additional pictures I found on fb from the cruise.  They are clearly after she "broke" her toe.  As you can see there is nothing on her toe at all to protect it and she is still wearing flip flops.

Also she is ridding todd so they made up way before that "intervention" in her house.

She's a smokestack and in her fabulous book, she describes being in Korea, not being in the cool job sections with friends, and going home every night with a six pack of alcohol

Especially since that season finialy when she did some sort of performance for a something wherever and it was a HUGE BIG DEAL for her to be an arabesque and she could barely stand on the balls of her feet let alone her toes on a pirouette?

How delusional does someone have to be to actually think Twit's no body shame campaign saves lives?  IMHO she may be actually shortening lives by suggesting that her morbid obesity is giving her  such a fabulous life. Then to dare compare her to soldiers returning from war.  To compare her to men and women who actually suffered serious sometimes life changing injuries in the service of their country.  Comparing soldiers who put their lives on the line to a twit who espouses no body shame because she doesn't want to put in the work necessary to lead a healthy lifestyle. @Dot it was in referencd to my tweet about the the radio station saying on air to whitney's fans about the open producer position at the radio station and that Whitney should apply if she was serious about radio. They even said she doesn't want it and the reason she didn't get LauRen's spot was cuz Twit didn't want to drive down from Greensboro everyday for 3 mos. 

i just can't with these people anymore. Just watched two people get into it over the timeline and the one was saying whit has nothing to do with how the show is edited.  Are these people really that dumb?  Twit has clearly shown she knows exactly what is going on in the show and how it is being filmed and the framed narrative. The housewarming party  thay roy and maney were there for but Twit said in her TH that he didn't show and sent a text applogizing (which didn't happen) making him out to be the bad guy.  And this last episode with the timeline way way off.  I just can't anymore.

Radio is not her career.  Reality TV is.  Any normal person would MOVE to be closer to his or her chosen (dream) career.

The bar scene with Todd's friends makes me think that that unless she is the focus of everyone's attention, it's not worth her time.
