Social Media: What's Up With Her?

I just lost my dinner . . . 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮

You know, I’m a live and let live kind of person.  I’m not particularly skinny or attractive, but I also don’t pull my pants down and gyrate a gigantic, bulbous ass in front of a camera so I can post it on social media and nauseate potentially thousands of people.  What the fuck IS wrong with her?  She disgusts me so much that I just don’t even have words for it . . .

WTF is that??????? And why did she feel it necessary to pull her waistband down to nearly her crack? I am so tired of seeing this woman shake her ass.

I need to find a way to bookmark this video so if I ever am tempted to eat stuff I shouldn't (hello, NY style cheesecake), I can watch it and become nauseated.

Was she trying to outdo buddy’s shower pic for most nauseating SM post of the week.  Honestly, I do try sometimes to give her the benefit of the doubt, but she’s mid to late 30s and acts 12 (and that’s being generous).  Is that suppose to inspire me to buy their workout videos?  The sad part is her fans encourage this.  I really don’t do social media very often just what’s posted her or on the Sister Wives board but is Whitney really nice to her fans on SM? I mean if she were I might understand some of this adoration, but I just don’t get the appeal.  Maybe I’m just tired but do people really aspire to be her?   I know some people have worse health or life circumstances than she does, but that’s your role model?  I hate to quote that random IG poster but “Same Moves”.  If she insist on making these videos she could at least vary them and no I’m not encouraging her to make more LOL.

She doesn't KNOW any other moves. There's a video posted on one of her FB pages from several years ago, recorded in her bedroom (pretty sure it was pre MBFFL) where she's doing the EXACT. SAME. ASS. UNDULATIONS. And it's super creepy and pervy because it's being filmed by her brother. (Caption something like "just a slow roll....")

Ok - I’m confused. Whitney is always complaining that people want her to cover up - not because it’s more appropriate to wear a shirt than just a bra, but because she’s sure that expecting people to wear clothing is fat shaming. But today she posts to “f*$k” the idea that fat women are only hot when they are in lingerie, a full face of makeup, and a sultry expression.

So which is it? Are people desperate to make fat people cover up or do we only find them hot when they are 1/2 naked???

Are we supposed to think that all of this 1/2 nakedness on Whitney’s part is because she’s convinced we only find her hot that way even though every time we’ve mentioned that she actually looks nice she’s dressed appropriately.

I need to contemplate this conundrum in a desperate attempt to wash that video out of my head.

"Haters" want her to cover up BECAUSE others find her "hawt" when she's half dressed.

An open letter to Whitney (since we know she lurks here):

Looks like she's deleted this from Facebook but nothing goes away on the internet! Here's a very brief clip, but you can see her do the same "roll the pants down to show more ass" move that she's doing in the Ryan vid.

Random - does anyone know the song she's dancing to? I tried to find it when she first posted this but couldn't.

I can't understand the words. If I knew what they were singing I might be able to find it.

You know what’s weird, is that she never has been in the past—it’s one of the main reasons I dislike her, how hatefully she treats her followers—but recently she is. Like, she’s going out of her way to answer their questions, interact with them, and be pleasant. Like she’s finally realized that her lifestyle lives and dies by this tenuous fan base. It’s kind of funny to see her trying so hard when you know all she has for most people is disdain.

I’m kind of curious - Whitney refers to being “hot” a lot. She calls herself “hot”. She calls other people “hot”. I know I am old and I’ve never been considered really in tune with what’s “in”, but do people in their 30s really call each other ‘hot’? I don’t really consider myself “hot” so maybe it’s just me but that seems odd to me. Beautiful, attractive, even sexy - yea. And MAYBE hot between two intimate people, but ‘hot’ seems more like a Cosmo comment than something people use in regular conversation.

I’m a little younger than Whitney and people my age do OCCASIONALLY use the word hot, but I generally hear it more it reference to the person’s body.  If their body is say a 10 and the face is attractive but say an 8, the person would hot.  If it’s reverse face is a 10 and body is an 8 the person is beautiful, gorgeous handsome.  Honestly, I hear men use it more than women. The only way I would describe Whitney as hot, if she is referring to her actual temperature.  When made up with hair and makeup,  I think she’s average looking in the face 5-6.  I think she has nice eyes (WHAT COLOR ARE THEY???) and would rate her body 1.  I know there are people that find her body attractive, I just personally don’t.  With that said I’m not attracted to anybody on the show.  Not that it matters, since I’m not in any kind of relationship with any of these people.

The woman in the story was significantly overweight at the age of 8. It seems unlikely that could have been from PCOS.

Fat is endocrine tissue and can most definitely exacerbate PCOS so it's more likely that the being significantly overweight was a contributing factor in the presentation of PCOS than the other way around.

Only if she’s the only one in her weight class.  Which can happen, depending on the event size. It’s happened to me. But hey, she’ll get a cheap little 1st place medal that the producers can hype the hell out of.

TLC will happily fake a competition so that she can "win". They've done it before.

She's definitely getting the bar caught under her pannus. She'll probably hurt herself the first time she can't swing it out far enough to clear her girth.

I will say, these aren’t horrible, as far as hang power cleans go. It’s progress, and training with a legit weightlifting coach helps.  Lifts already look better than they ever did with Will or Jessica, but to be fair, they tended to be in the CrossFit realm, which does a little bit of everything.  Rigsby is strictly an Olympic lifting coach, so this is his bread and butter.

I do wonder how much those white plates weigh though, as I’ve never seen them before. They seem to be on the bar kinda wobbily from repeated movement and contact with the ground. That doesn’t really happen with heavier plates, so I’m guessing these are probably 10lb plates to get her used to a proper setup from the ground. Not hating. Form first, add weights later.

As to having a belly, it can mess with bar path because when doing the pull, the bar needs to be as close as possible to your body, but there are heavy-bodied lifters out there. Super-heavyweight classes do exist, which would be 109kg+ (Roughly 239lbs+) for men’s body weight and 87kg+ (Approximately 191lbs+) for women.  Sarah Robles is an American lifter that’s over 300lbs, and she took bronze at the Rio Olympics in 2016 for her division.  Having a weightlifting singlet on would help keep things in.  I wonder how Whit’s gonna take that when she does her first sanctioned meet and HAS to wear one, and can’t get away with letting her gut hang out.

This seems to be the biggest difference between this new coach and Jessica. He made her start completely over, without even a bar, and learn the form. She’s not perfect. I wouldn’t expect her to be. She’s a newbie. But she’s improving and that’s great. I’d still love to see her do some cardio and talk about better nutrition but at least she’s working towards doing this properly.

From what I understand, white Olympic standardized bumpers are one of two sizes - 11 lbs. (5 kg) or 1.1 Lbs (0.5 kg).  Either one, she's a ways from competing in a legitimate, sanctioned meet.  But it does look like she's showing more respect for this trainer, and is working seriously, as opposed to the whining and hissy fits she showed Will Powell, and the teasing and grabby hands she inflicted on Jessica.

There's an interesting exchange of comments betw/ Jessica & Twit. Jessica's comment, which I didn't understand & don't remember, seemed snarky. Twit replied, something like, "Oh, were you watching, too?"

Anyone able to make sense of this exchange?

My understanding of the standard white 5kg plates is that they’re smaller. Full-size standard Olympic plates usually start at 10kg. However, it’s possible that they have some light, large plates to get beginners used to getting a proper setup from the floor to prepare for the initial pull, and with a light weight.

It sounds to me like Jessica is criticizing Whit’s lift which I find kind of amusing. I’m sure regardless of what Jessica says, the idea that someone else stepped in and thought so little of the previous training that he started Whit over has to upset her. So she’s picking the new training apart. As @Ketzel above also noted, Whit seems to be listening more to this training and behaving better. I wonder if that ticks Jessica off too.

I’ve attached that brief exchange. It sounds like Jessica is being complimentary about her bar speed on her lifts. Whitney posted, “Oh, did you see me, boo?”  Considering Jessica put a like on Whitney’s response, I don’t take this as any shade being thrown.  I think Whitney is just being a little silly with someone she’s known for a while

Is this a common thing?  I can't imagine my old trainer watch me being RE-trained by a new trainer.  Is Whitney Jessica's only client?  Shouldn't Jess be at her own home gym working?  TLC can't be paying that many people to be Whitney's flunky.

From what I gather, Will and Jessica seem to be more into CrossFit-style workouts and training (constantly varied, functional fitness, high intensity - that mantra).  Yes, there’s some barbell movements involved there, just like there are gymnastic movements or general cardio.  However, Whitney’s latest videos are specifically at a gym that specializes in olympic weightlifting.  From what I’ve seen, it’s not unusual for someone to decide to dabble in something specific for a while. Go to some workshops to get better at gymnastic type movements.  Work on getting better at running. Train in weightlifting for a while.  There are many disciplines in fitness.

Think about it this way:  we have a primary care physician who has general knowledge and can treat us if we’re sick, and check if we’re overall okay.  But there are specialists we may get referred to. If your heart rate is off at the time of your yearly physical, you may be told that you need to see a cardiologist.  Most people have a dentist they see regularly.  Or an optometrist.  Or a dermatologist.  They know what they know, and refer to someone who knows more about a specific subject if it’s getting to be out of their purview or beyond their level of expertise.

It doesn’t look like Jessica is tagging along all the way to Charlotte for this, unless I’ve missed something. She just commented on a video.

In this case she just commented on the video but we have seen her in the Charlotte gym commenting on Whit’s training and making her own videos as well as being part of filming for the show that in happening in the gym. So it’s hard to tell exactly what is happening. I haven’t actually seen video of the new trainer. She calls him by name in her posts and you hear his voice in the videos but I haven’t seen his face. (Please correct me if I missed a video showing him). So I have to wonder if the times Jessica was in Charlotte were for the show and they will try to make it look like Jessica is the trainer.

Yeah, you’re right. It’s hard to tell what’s going on if she’s in Charlotte, too. I did check Jessica’s Instagram and there was one photo post of her, Whit, and a couple other people at the Whitewater Center, which is on the outskirts of Charlotte, but everything else of hers seems to be in Greensboro.

I’d have allowed for the possibility that perhaps Jessica decided to train olympic lifting and came to Charlotte to do so, as there’s a number of oly lifting gyms in the area run by ex-members of the MuscleDriver USA lifting team (Heavy Metal Barbell being one of them), but there doesn’t seem to be any evidence supporting that being why she’s there.

And so far, no, no signs of Sean Rigsby in Whit’s videos.

You can see him in the video from 3 weeks ago where she is doing deadlifts (turquoise plates) along with the ass wiggle and hair flip. He's stooped down in the background watching her.

“Hotness” is so much more then physical. That’s all she seems to focus on, and she’s inconsistent as to what pisses her off at the time.

Whitney is pretty. She could be alluring and interesting if she’d stop acting like it’s spring break 24/7. She could be “senshous” if she was a bit less TMI all the time. She’s stuck on the physical part only and tries to overcompensate, failing miserably most of the time.

I would pay $5 for an unedited video of Whitney getting into that leg-up-on-the-barre position.

And no one should consider taking  technical dance instruction from someone who so clearly has no idea of proper body alignment. Stick to the ass-shaking, Whitney. Your idea of barre work is, to me, a unique mixture of stupid and dangerous.
