I don't believe a person with mental issues will be equipped to manage the life style eating changes required after having weight loss surgery. As others have stated the surgery is on the body not on the brain. I've not seen anything up to this point in the show to indicate either one of the two is receptive to making a mental change or if it's even possible. 4 Link to comment

I feel bad for Justin because I think with some therapy and modifying his diet he could really make good progress. Steven, on the other hand, is a waste of space.
