  1. I hate when they do Celebrity editions of game shows with small prize pools. Family Feud winners walk away with less than $1000, unless they win Fast Money, which they usually don't.
  2. Lori Grenier invested in Sleep Styler. I ordered Sleep Styler (3 months ago... they're supposed to ship soon). Now I am on Lori Grenier's mailing list. Oops.
  3. I'm sure the assassination attempt was orchestrated by Chase Graves to bolster the fledgling campaign. I also bet you anything the the candidate killed the dominatrix. The guy they arrested was just a patsy. I'm glad that Blaine's money making scheme turned out to be a fairly innocuous use of blue memory juice to ramp up the visions. I was afraid it would be a copy of his father's; creating lots of zombies to sell brains to. I'm still very much on the side of the zombie truthers. I'm glad they were able to treat D&D players with some respect. Too many depictions of role playing games just show the players to be pathetic losers, with the "good guys" openly scorning and mocking them. It seemed like it was going that way at first, but it came around and was fairly respectful. It came around fully when the gang got super into the game after being initially skeptical. I really loved how Clive went from being utterly contemptuous to wanting to play a weekly game.
  4. That's gotta be a real mind-screw for a woman, to give birth to a baby boy, then a month or two later, meet his as a grown man.
  5. Internet pranksters are still a very prevalent thing. I thought it was more a reference to that than to Jackass.
  6. I can't believe the perpetrator didn't dump his trashy cheating girlfriend and his scumbag friend after that. What a chump. He had a zombie scratch him before he succumbed to his chest wound.
  7. I would bet money that's exactly what happened. You could tell that he is pretty militant, and thinks the others in Fillmore-Graves were too soft. This show is really starting to disturb me. It is feeling more and more like the beginnings of an apocalyptic pandemic. I can't see the zombies as anything but bad guys. I'm so tired of Blaine. The ping-ponging between good and evil annoys me. The murder case was too easy. The perpetrator was too sloppy. I can't believe he didn't think to destroy the incriminating evidence so that it would look like an accident, as he clearly hoped. The victim was a pile of shit. Glad he died. I hate pranksters who make their trade on causing misery. And the murderer's girlfriend was a horrid little tramp.
  8. I keep having these dreams where I am screaming at Ravi for letting the world go to shit in a zombie apocalypse, because he knew about zombies and was working on a cure while the problem was still small enough to contain. Yet he didn't engage the CDC, and in fact actively impeded them. I guess the hypothetical fiasco isn't all on him, but I still think he's being very irresponsible.
  9. I think on one of the episodes this season they were doing an update on Bubba Q's Boneless Ribs, and they pointed out that they were being put into some new sandwich at Hardees. Well the new sandwich is out. I tried it. It's gluttonous (Hardees' food usually is) and I thought it was pretty good. It's a fried onion bits, a hamburger patty, and boneless ribs. Very messy too. Definitely gotta wash your hands after this one, and go through a lot of napkins.
  10. It's starting to seem like the past is immutable. Everything that appears to be happening as a result of time travelers is actually stuff that already happened.
  11. Just because a shark invests in a business doesn't guarantee the business's success. Toygaroo, for example, got investments from Mark and Kevin, but still failed later. I don't remember that product, but haven't cake pops been in Starbucks for over a decade?
  12. That was one heck of a twist in the 10th episode. It makes Cassandra and Cole seem less villainous in hindsight. I'm glad they've definitively said that the 4th season will be the last. It sucks to wait a whole year to see how this all wraps up. But at least they won't be spinning their wheels avoiding a conclusion. That Ethan (or was it Athan?) couldn't save Eliza after trying hundreds of times does not bode well for the team's attempts to stop the plague.
  13. That turtle is probably going to cause the destruction of the compound. One enormous paradox that causes a chain reaction with the time travel equipment. I kinda hate Cole and Cassandra now for their sabotage of the mission. I don't think so. I think the woman he did draw just looked similar to Cassandra, so that's why he appeared to draw her.
  14. I'm seeing some plot holes here..... Cassandra was killed by minions of the Witness back in season 1. It led to that alternate future where the virus got out a year earlier and everything was even worse. So did the 12 Monkeys at the time just not realize that Cassandra was The Witness's mother? I'm starting to find this show a little grating. It's becoming like Lost or Under the Dome--one of those shows that just likes to spin up new riddles for the sake of spinning riddles.
