My guess is fentanyl. A friend of mine had an overdose not too long ago. It’s heartbreaking and affecting so many people.

It was a sad tragic life. He was a late teen when she joined the show and he was so troubled, so it had nothing to do with the show. I don’t know anything about Laurie’s previous life or Josh’s father.

Don't forget that wallet #2 is also known as "the chinless wallet". I'm sure George was sad about the death of Josh, but at the same time, relieved he didn't have to deal with all that drama anymore.

And how do George and Lauri explain the family dynamic to Josh's daughter (who is legally adopted by L&G).

Do they tell her that her real birth parents were drug addicts and couldn't take care of her? That her father has been in and out prison for at least a decade or more and died from an overdose? Who knows where drug addict mom is at.

I still wish Lauri would have paid more attention to Josh when things starting blatantly changing when he was a teenager. He had no father figure and mom was busy chasing men with a gold lined wallet. She got what she wanted. Sadly, Josh never did.

Why yes she did. What a shitty excuse for a mother. She only liked the good times. Her only support of Josh came in S1 when she actually showed up for a court date. I think she gave up on him after that.

I'm quite sure that bf of Lauri 's that I'm referring to, smoked pot frequently with under age Josh.

I know different people have different perspectives on whether or not pot is a "drug" but Josh was still underage. That is the egregious, irresponsible part. My bottom line is that Lauri cared nothing about Josh. She was busy digging for gold.

The interpreter would take the stolen money and wire it to Ryan's two casino accounts, and then Ryan would go gamble with the stolen funds. If he won, he would take the earnings from the gambling. It sounds like money laundering to me, but I'm not sure if Ryan kept the money he won from gambling or returned it back to the interpreter. The interpreter stole the millions to pay off his own gambling debt, so I'm unclear as to how this benefitted him if he's sending it to Ryan? Also, receiving stolen millions AND gambling with it doesn't sound legal. Anyway, Ryan was the informant in this case for immunity so it sounds like he's going to walk away with zero charges. Unbelievable.

I am SO sorry - yes! Honestly, I have absolutely no idea where the name 'John' came from. It's been a long week - apologies.

Ryan's 'BFF' was Matthew Bowyer, who was the bookie. He is the one, along with Ryan, who received the stolen millions from the interpreter in casino accounts, withdrew the chips, and then gambled. He's not been charged with anything yet, but apparently has been an illegal bookie and was raided in CA. Sounds like Ryan is going to get off without charges in this, which to me is unreal.

Yes, the reports I've read (none official, mind you) was the the contact w/ the interpreter was through Matthew Bowyer, who told the interpreter that he (the interpreter) could pay off the gambling debts that were owed by sending them directly to Ryan's casino accounts. They (Ryan and Matthew Bowyer) also got a shitload of comps for food, drink, hotels, show tickets, golf outings, sporting event tickets, casino chips, and even shopping sprees - all because they looked like they were 'big spenders' with the stolen millions.

I wonder how much Jen got from all that, and how much she knew where it was coming from. Not a good look.

Judging from Ryan's IG, he went to trips in Vegas, and golf trips, and flew private, but otherwise his lifestyle is not extravagant, eg. he owns an average house. This was most probably not filmed for the show because filming ended recently, but I'm sure we will see an update. I don't doubt she is with him because she knows he has some money. She claims she is broke according to her divorce proceedings, and she had to borrow money from Ryan. She is also renting the house she lives (for $12,000 a month). They are also fans of Jason Aldean who they saw at least twice relatively recently (I didn't bother to look lower on his IG grid).

Jen and Ryan got engaged about three weeks ago, I'm sure in order for the engagement to coincide with the season finale (filming just ended for S18). Her spot on the show was not secure, as more women (at least two, maybe three including Alexis Bellino) were invited to film.

Well, Ryan Culberson, Vicki's sil had rage issues, seems to be a "survivalist", and lives off his former, short lived HW fame by promoting products on social media (like his wife), Ryan Veith (?, spelling), Tamra's son is not the nicest person, and Ryne, Jen Armstrong's husband who I assume was Ryan before he changed his name is weird, but they didn’t do anything fraudulent as far as we know. Am I forgetting any Ryans?

Filming for S18 resumed this weekend (Saturday 11th) after it wrapped earlier in the month to comment (and capitalize) on Ryan's gambling scandal. Heather, Tamra, Emily, and Alexis met at a rooftop bar (it seems to me in Laguna Beach) to discuss it. Bravo wanted the season to air soon (by the end of summer), I assume because of Shannon’s DUI, and Alexis returning to the show, and hooking up with Shannon’s ex, but this will postpone the new season premiere slightly.

I only recently got into OC, but I agree. I have a soft spot for the older cities. Salt Lake is juicy for example, but if I had to pick a show to watch, I'd pick OC or Jersey over it.

Bravo just aired the first (very short glance) promo for the new OC season as This Summer on Bravo along Milion Dollar Listing Los Angeles, and The Real Housewives of Dubai. Shannon looks wrinkly and thin (I'm sure due to Ozempic).

Thanks!!  I am going to look for it.  Ozempic weight loss on women of a certain age does a number on their skin and face.  I am surprised that hasn't scared the housewives off.  My coworker that is on it looks like shit.  Aged her by a lot.  But she is thinnish til she stops taking it.

Nothing scares "celebrity housewives" except not getting a Bravo check and not being relevant anymore. And being overweight. 

Thanks Natalie for that info on Ozempic. Sounds like it's just as bad as street drugs like crystal meth. I see commercials now for class action lawsuits for Ozempic and the side affects.
