I've begun to wonder if she knows what mastitis really is.

THANK you! I was beginning to think that I had mastitis when I nursed 30/27/24 years ago after reading her take on it. I didn't but I did have the sore nipples, engorged painful breasts but that is all an ebb and flow of different stages of nursing during those 6-8 months I nursed each son.

Woman is not a mental giant.

I've had cranial sacral work done and absolutely fail to see how that would do anything for a tongue tie.

I wondered the same thing. So I googled it. This is copied from a site...

Cranial sacral therapy (CST) is a hands-on bodywork system developed by Dr. John Upledger, that releases tightness and compression in the tissues of the tongue, jaw, mouth, head, upper neck, spine, pelvis and other structures. It is noninvasive, your chiropractor uses gentle pressure on the neck, head, jaw, mouth and other areas on the body to bring about a change in the elasticity of the tight tissues. Rigidity of oral tissue do correlate to tissues on the outside of the body.

The foundation of CST’s efficacy is the stimulation and enhancement of your bodies fluid flow, called Cerebro Spinal Fluid (CSF). The movement of fluid into the tongue, jaw, mouth, lips, etc. facilitates a softening, lengthening and release of tight, constricted muscles and tissue.  Over time, this muscular and tissue rebalance allows for major changes within the Central Nervous System (CNS), and many positive noticeable developmental changes can start to take place.  CSF is colorless fluid that is produced in the Choroid Plexus of the Brain, with the system known as the Craniosacral Mechanism and it is the lubricating, hydraulic, energetic part of the CNS that controls your tissue and muscle tone and your bodies functions. It is encased with the head and spine and moves within the brain, spinal cord and all cells of the body. It also cushions and keeps soft the organs, collects needed supplies from your blood, and gets rid of waste by-products from the body.

The craniosacral work I had done was by licensed physical therapists under the guidance of a medical doctor, not a chiropractor, and while they worked on my head and neck quite a bit, they barely touched my jaw.  It does relieve tight muscles and tendons, but a true tongue tie is caused by excess tissue attached in the mouth and no amount of external manipulation is going to change that.  Now I'm wondering if at least one or two of the tongue ties were diagnosed by the chiroprator and not the pediatrician.

This is physical therapy on the child by a chiropractor, right?  I saw a warning video about it on tv. .  I get why it could be frowned upon.  I have no evidence it’s risky.  I saw THIS video and it looked fine.  I guess it depends on the professional.

At marker 4:50 she addresses the tongue and mouth issue.

It seems to me that there's nothing here that couldn't be discovered by a pediatrician. I'd worry about over-diagnosing and treating something that would resolve easily on its own.

My best (childhood) girlfriend had mastitis.  And it was BAAAAD.  Me and our other friend went to see her while she was going thru this; to see the new baby and I'll never forget my other friend telling me on the way home (we were in our 20s) "there is no way in hell i'm ever giving birth after seeing her"  She was horrified.  Times change.. she has 3 boys (but she never would nurse) and they're all criminals - just saying.. has nothing to do with nursing; just a bad parent.

I think its cute now, when she's a preschooler. As she gets older, it will get harder to show up to school dressed like Laura Ingalls.

With kids this age, I think the "countrified" clothes and the metallic leggings and purple mohawk are parental choices, not kid choices.

For the record I don't mind a child being in modest attire. I think my gripe? issue? is that Audrey dresses the kid a bit frilly fru fru for my tastes. And I dislike the modesty press from someone who wore shorts so short and tight on an aired episode that she needed to be blurred, and who brags in a book that she met her husband by intentionally wearing nothing but a sports bra and running shorts.

Auj and Jer haven't been on the show in years now as paid players. If Matt's still providing income, that's his choice... but I don't think he is. To a point, since children don't ask to be born, its generally considered a parent's responsibility to provide them with food, a home, education.... that's usually not considered optional for parents.

At 18 Jeremy chose to work on the show, which provided both him and his father with income. He's since quit and does not appear to go to daddy hat in hand for money. I may not like how he and Auj make money but I don't think Matt is subsidizing their lifestyle. There's a point where what, five years off the show where I don't think Jer-Bear needs to be publicly thanking Daddy on a daily basis for his existence.

audreyroloff Our search for some land to raise our family continues in 2022👀 Thank you for following us on the hunt and for all your prayers as we continue searching and trusting God’s timing.

In the meantime we are excited to let you in on our newest project😉 This dreamy little snow covered cabin in the woods that you see behind us🥰 We’ve had our pulse on the Bend area for a while because we spend so much time here. Over the summer we saw this place pop up and Jer immediately flew (since that’s his newest hobby🤪) out there with a friend to go see it. Everything that comes on the market in central Oregon goes so fast... I was super pregnant with Radley so I stayed home. Also not super comfy with the idea of flying with Jer yet😅 We ended up putting in an offer before I had even seen it in person! We were so pumped when it got accepted🥳This week was our first trip out here to stay as a family and it’s already proving to be a very special winter wonderland escape❄️I have a feeling we’ll be here a lot this winter⛷

Anddddd we are hoping that by next summer we will be able to invite YOU to come stay at this rad cabin in beautiful Sunriver! We hope this cabin can be a place where our family and yours come to create memories, play in the river, explore the lakes, bike the trails, shred the mountain, and snuggle up by the fire while watching the snow fall. We’ve got some ideas for how we can design this space to be fun, connecting, and relaxing for families and we can’t wait to share/show you! Stay tuned for the renovation and lots of @jeremyroloff original projects to come😜

Happy New Year!🥂

What is it with Audrey and Sobbyn Robin on sisterwives that they think God works as their realtor?? “Trusting God’s timing” on finding a place to buy? Robin thinking God would provide a “rennal” at the last moment 🙄?

Also, that’s not a “cabin”, it is a vacation home…Sunriver is a highly desirable and expensive vacation community in central Oregon. There are no “cabins” there. We have rented homes there many summers, and all of them were larger and more deluxe than my house in the Seattle suburbs. (To be fair in the original part of the development you can find more modest houses, but the one they are in front of is not one of those!)

They will be using this place to get away from each other.

Audrey found renting the place on the water was super expensive so she'll use the 'Cabin' to host oil parties and give weekend get a ways for her minions!

I'll guess they will also use it as a rental since that place seems pretty popular.

Actually I'm guessing it might be a smart buy with tax write offs  for rentals and business use!

Hopefully Jeremy will touch NOTHING...remembering the kitchen remodel!

Tori will be green with envy!

😅And Jeremy is going to renovate this cabin?   Funniest thing I ever heard.   He should maybe think about getting a real job.

Between their money from when they DID appear on the show, HER money (her family is wealthy; she may be a trust fund baby), and the money they make from MLM/notoriety as Roloffs, he prolly doesn't have to get a real job; good on him!

Both he and Jacob have now accused the show/TLC of manufacturing drama, so I assume Matt and Caryn and Amy and Chris actually get along just fine in real life.

How disappointing!

Accusing a reality show of manufacturing drama is a standard go to when the participant doesn't like how they were portrayed.

I remember when, in seasons 4-9 when it was increasingly clear there was some marriage issues, that Matt continually claimed insisted that he and Amy had a great relationship and that divorce was never an option for them, and the show had a way of "stacking scenes" to make it look like he and Amy were at each other's throats when in reality they had a great, stable marriage. Then they got divorced.

Jeremy is playing a similar, more bitter betty game here.  They didn't like how they were depicted as a somewhat bitchy pretentious couple, they wanted to make the show more about their various business ventures and quit when it stayed a show mostly focused on the family divorce drama.

If TLC ever offered them their own Jer and Auj show, I think they'd be on it in a hot minute.

You'd think, at this point, that Jer might also be bothered by his younger brother being molested by a producer as a reason to leave and why he's no longer into reality show whoring but... here we are.

Did Jeremy get his pilots licence? I noticed Auj making reference to J flying now. Maybe she meant he's now flying in his "mind"? It's a fantasy? I hope he's flying solo.

At least his mom who "believes" she can cook isn't endangering others lives except for mild food poisoning. Jeremy could kill many people if he crashed his plane.
