At least she didn't pull a Jill and ask for Gatorade and aspirin.

Yes, there's that. We should give her the benefit of the doubt, then, I guess. .... She didn't go any farther in the consumables direction than olive oil, that I noticed it. She's a higher class of grifter, no doubt.

Count your blessings that you didn't have to pay for this wedding, TLC. Mr. Pickle would have demanded an open bar. ....   Now that I think of it, though, this marriage really could have been Amy's ticket to TLC fame, if Josh hadn't happened. The history of DUIs and the "I never thought about marrying him" pre-wedding announcement portend a lot of drama that they would have really liked to film.

I have nothing specific against Amy or her registry, I ain't buying her anything. I just want to know why a toothbrush needs Bluetooth?

Connect your new Oral-B Pro 5600 Power Electric Bluetooth Toothbrush to your smart phone and get real-time updates on your brushing habits. This rechargeable toothbrush is designed to help you achieve optimally clean teeth.

She'll probably Instagram the results.

For $150 it better be called bleutooth.

Real time updates on your toothbrushing via your phone? Are people having servants brush their teeth for them while they sleep, five minutes before they wake up, and need to be informed of how it went? Edited by Kokapetl

Is that the property the bank gave him for cleaning up the property? I'm hard pressed to believe that any bank would give a way a property. If the story is true than good for him for having a house.

I think it is possible the bank gave John David that house in exchange for services. It's probably not much of a house, but solid enough to make a renovation possible. It's probably not in a great area of town either. My brother works for a large northeastern bank - in Foreclosures - and told me he could easily see a bank making an arrangement like this. Especially in Arkansas, and especially if there was a large parcel of land that needed John David's skills, and especially to someone with a known family history of flipping properties. Bonus - it gets this less-than-wonderful property off their balance sheet quickly too.

Too bad TLC isn't filming the reception, because I could only imagine how fast the Duggars will vacate the premesis when they open the bar. LOL

Maybe, with all that's happened, some of the Duggarlings will accidentally drink some alcohol.

So the NSA can have even more data to collect?  Or to add spice to your Facebook and Twitter postings.

She has Marie Osmond levels of teeth.....that toothbrush needs a GPS to get around.

I sorta kinda like Amy....if nothing else, she's there to show the J's how normal young people act/dress/date/ etc. I think a few of them (Joy in particular) really, really like her and her zany yet 'modern' ways. Maybe she'll hatch the escape plan for a few of them.

Dang!! on the wedding not being filmed. Would've been epic once the tequila shots and "All the Single Ladies" dance got going. So much Nike in one place.

She wants TWO of the $150 toothbrushes!!!!!!!!!

but only one glass Tumbler???   But my goodness all the dip and chip bowls????  How many of those do you need?? and Candles!!!!

I have no problem with a second registry at a different store; gives people options of what store to go to and perhaps one is a little cheaper.

Have to say when you look through the registries, yeah, you get the very distinct impression that these people are drinkers...yeah, I guess by that article about the DUI's its kind of a given.

I've said it before, the reason for the registries is to help people start up their household not to supply their whole house or bar

Out of the more than 200 items on the registry, It looks like only four items have been purchased, and one of them is a spoon rest - lol!  I can't imagine asking for an $80 toaster, and what is with asking for 11 of the cherry blossom dinner plates? Ten or twelve would have made sense, but eleven?  People better get to steppin' if they want to purchase from her list before everything is gone :::sarcasm::.

I kind of want to buy the cheapest washcloth with a note saying "Dry your tears with this...". Amy'll need it.

Totally a guess, but I wonder if they got one cherry blossom dinner plate as a freebie for registering for the set? I have no idea whether such deals are offered but that was my first thought.

I worked part-time in the bridal registry of a major department store for years while I was teaching  - PS most fun job ever! - and it's quite common for a bride to have a place setting of her china or silver/stainless pattern long before she gets engaged. She may fall in love with something and get a gift of one setting, or buy one herself - one to "dream on..." It's really not unusual at all. My mom started asking me, and my sisters, in our early teens to watch out for patterns we liked so we could start the whole"hope chest" routine, though I bet not much of that goes on any more these days.

You guys are cracking me up tonight on Famy's wedding! LOL

Sorry but any person that marries into this family- or any family member of a person that marries into this family should realize that they are going to have their records searched.  It's all public.

However, this of course would not have been such a big deal had Amy not made it all so public.  You are just opening yourself up to the tabloids and crazy snarkers.  ;)

They should have considered a Vegas wedding with Elvis officiating -serving fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches and tater tot casserole.  Oh sorry, don't forget the grape juice (wine).

Naw it's because Famy has learned the art of grifting and Boob doesn't like it since it takes away from him and his grifting.

IF the Duggar Studios did indeed film the whole mess errr I mean the precious, sweet, amazing, purposed event, will they be having a pay-per-view on it?

$20 PPV and you get a free Duggar studios shirt.

I assume those unaccounted for all went on the bus to the wedding. It seems customary to indiscriminately invite over a thousand people to these things. Johanna wouldn't be allowed to be 'acting head sister mom' for someone as precious as Miracle Josie, so Miracle was going too, and by that point, might as well take em all. Also, why take the bus if not to transport a bus load of people?

I had a look at the Dillards registry again, I swear the pair of them have added even more shit. Now there's two not one sets of luggage, another set of bathroom accessories (she's now asking for 4 toothbrush holders) another decanter, and an additional buttload of pillows. And the new stuff includes 3 types of Bluetooth speakers, scented candles, several cuff links and tie clips, a handbag, and 4 University of Arkansas skillets.

Because no newlywed home is complete without several cuff links and tie clips, and a handbag. ;)

Did grifter Amy or DUI Dill even attend the University of Arkansas?

I am so sure Amy didn't go to any college I didn't even bother to check. According to LinkedIn, Mr King went to John Brown University, a Christian, no smoking, no drinking, no porn, no gambling and no sex outside of marriage, "liberal arts" school in Arkansas. As of 2007, dancing is now allowed
