  1. a true, I forgot where baldness factor comes from.
  2. yep, they all have his unfortunate receding hair line
  3. this was quite an interesting show :) cracked me up Blake hiding from the paint balls and coming out clean. Then knowing what we knew from the previews, that the jumpsuits were the fabrics they were going to use I was like - now what Blake!! But alas, they supplied them with paint and more fabric. I too was afraid that the editing monkeys were setting me up for a women's win - what with the women "oh what do we do" and the men "we are working so well together like a well oiled machine" and then the women coming out with a great runway. Love the 5 Men + Merline looks - I loved Edmonds and Swapnil's - personally I would have given the win to Swapnil - I really liked that dress. I would have liked Jake's better if it wasn't for the cape - I am so not a fan of capes. If it were a vest I think it would have looked better. Oh the mean girls - err, I mean women's team - I didn't like one of those looks. The right 3 were in the bottom and while I'm glad Amanda went home because she deserved it from all of her designs; I thought Candace's and Kelly's were the worst. I'm surprised that no one called Amanda out on her "parachute" back. I reminded me of Blake's dress last week. I totally sympathize with Ashley and understand her being upset. But as others have posted - I would have said screw it; I know I'm good, I'm going to show you and put out the best outfit you could and say FU for picking me last. And Blake calling out the mean girls was something - I went - what happened to his voice!!!
  4. so he confesses to viewing porn on the internet? Can you view porn on the Ashley Madison or OKCupid website??? And did the Duggars block comments on there page? I'm surprised to not see any comments.
  5. think about how much a high price call girl charges; so yeah $250 is still within his "buy used and save the difference"
  6. http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20946190,00.html?xid=socialflow_twitter_peoplemag Oh Please
  7. well if DDD is still doing new shows then this could be one of the reasons Jay didn't win. When I watched his pilot - I went OMG this is just like Guy Fieri's DDD. So I thought maybe he was going to win because as other's have posted before maybe Guy is giving up DDD and they are looking for someone new. Glad that Eddie won. I probably won't watch his show but good for Eddie. I thought Dom's pilot was good. Wasn't sure if he was going to win. But I laughed and liked his "look back" segment. Thought the reaction to Suzy's last remark to Michelle was a little strange. Suzy asking her about quitting; and then she says something about "knowing you made the right decision" (I think that's what she said - truly can't remember how she worded it)..and Michelle just opens her mouth and then closes it and doesn't say anything.
  8. but only one glass Tumbler??? But my goodness all the dip and chip bowls???? How many of those do you need?? and Candles!!!! I have no problem with a second registry at a different store; gives people options of what store to go to and perhaps one is a little cheaper. Have to say when you look through the registries, yeah, you get the very distinct impression that these people are drinkers...yeah, I guess by that article about the DUI's its kind of a given. I've said it before, the reason for the registries is to help people start up their household not to supply their whole house or bar
  9. ahh okay, that makes sense :) .. Makes me feel better about Mr. Piffles
  10. I only watched the first hour (had to turn to Face Off at 9 :) ) but the first act I was so surprised when it was done that all the judges raved about them. I went what!!! They were playing air musical instruments and they weren't in sync at all. Loved Alondra. I agree with Howard that the beginning when she sang acapella was really good and you can hear what a really good voice she has. Then of course they had to have all the busyiness. I loathe how AGT stages the acts - which was one of the really bad things about Triple Threat - but their singing was just bad too, there were times when I cringed. I loved them at their first audition - what happened?? I can't imagine anyone going to a full show of Vita's??? Piff - I just didn't understand the act - what was magic about it?????? And I agree with Heidi that the whole time I felt bad for Mr. Piffles being in that box. Made me sad.
  11. LOVED IT!! When guest judge said the one thing she didn't like about Edmonds dress was the green and she would have liked it in all black..and Heidi countered that she liked the green or otherwise we would have another basic "Little Black Dress" - Have to give that up to Heidi!!! Can't argue with who went home even though I would have loved to see more from him. But that dress was just a mess; and to top it off he got the one model whose coloring made it look even worse. Loved Ashley's outfit; even though I too would have loved to see the skirt in a shorter version. But, I also agree with the outfit Ashley was wearing. I love the mixing of patterns and textures but her outfit had nothing that looked right together. I liked Blake's material and when the dress was coming down the runway it actually looked okay; but then the close ups of the bad sewing, the ballooning at the bottom just everything made it so bad. I kinda liked Merline's outfit. Didn't like the color or material but I liked the design of it.
  12. I admit that I was falling asleep during the show and didn't even watch the last few minutes...but didn't they all cook their food first and then went to live TV. When Jay was making the tarts he took them out and was burning his hands as he was trying to get them on the plate. He said he didn't have enough time to do anything else like he wanted like whipped cream or some sort of glaze. And also, his chocolate didn't look good at all as he was putting it in the tarts; unless that was coconuts I was seeing, but it looked really gritty. I admit that I was liking Arnold at the beginning of this show; but I'm wondering if he more comfortable as his "Suzy Wong" (did I get her name right?) persona.
  13. Wedding registries listed on the store site are not private; so I won't get on her for that. I have at times gone to the more popular stores looking to see if someone was registered in order to get a gift. Overall, the registry really doesn't seem that bad. But the thing is the quantities - who needs 2 decanters? Who needs 2 ice buckets? Who registered for 26 hand towels and 26 bath towels?? On typical registries you might get someone with maybe a quantity of 4-6?? Who needs 35 cloth napkins???? Then you go down to the big tickets items The Ninja kitchen system The Shark Vacuum and Shark Steamer a $200 frozen concoction maker - really???? Yes, it's nice to help a newly married couple to set up the household - but you do not need to register for every single household item????
  14. Does anyone know if Anna drives?? Just curious why, with four kids, that Josh would even have to be at the dentist with her and not at home watching the kids for an hour or so? Oh wait....
  15. I did too!!!!! I couldn't not see it and wondered what everyone was talking about fairylike - then they said wings!!!! Loved Avi's - definitely on team Avi Do not like Cheryl-Ann; I was thinking about her voice and how it bugs me and now I realize that it reminds me of Michelle Duggar - I've only watched bits and pieces of 19KAC - but I've seen her enough to hate the voice. What I didn't like about Cheryl Ann's is that it just seemed liked bits and pieces of things thrown in - oh I 'll put a submarine here; a fish here; an octopus here?????? I thought it was suppose to be one character -like Avi's!!!
