My hubs pretends he isn't paying attention, but then will murmur an occasional "her kicks are low, she's hot, not a chance, I'm scared of kitty, send that one to the Bengals, there's your point girl, can you still do that, etc."

Hahahahahaha. My favorite is when they're getting on some girl about her weight and hubs walks in and says "THEY THINK THAT GIRL IS FAT???? THAT GIRL?????"

Bringing the where to watch the show discussion here. I have no idea where to watch the show in other countries. I use I-Tunes because I will not have cable when the new season starts in August. I have no idea why CMT needs to know viewer's cable information. Sorry everyone!

VH-1 Classic's website is like that too. I'm a huge That Metal Show fan and am bummed they don't want to carry it anymore. I have to sign in to watch last season's episodes just like CMT. They used to have old episodes of TMS but took them off the site.

I *love* TMS!!!!  My husband & I dated back in the 80s when we were in high school.  Totally rocking the 80s metal back then.  Heck, I think his hair was longer than mine!  Anyway, fast forward 26 years and we re-connected on FB and the rest is history.  We watch TMS and say "remember back in the day...."

That is SO funny!!

I had a ton recorded while I was recovering from my c section. My husband took 2 weeks off to help me. My hormones were awful awful and he kept referencing how hot Holly and Loren were. I was bawling "I'm over here with this saggy belly and incision and you're talking about all these hot girls!"

So now he's like "oh man, she's soft. Wow, she is just way too heavy. Ugh, she's just awful." Just to make me feel better ??

Because if that channel isn't part of your cable subscription, they won't let you be a "free-loader" and watch online.  What I don't understand is why all cable providers don't offer plans where you get to choose what channels you want, and your monthly bill depends on how many channels you have (not taking premium HBO type channels into account).  Cable isn't cheap, we shouldn't have to pay so much and not even get what we want! *rant over*

@JC123, my cable provider (Xfinity) has different tiers at different prices, but each package includes particular channels.  I'm under the impression this is how most cable companies operate, rather than offer a cafeteria plan.  I think Fios TV has a plan that includes basic channels and then you get to choose your add-ons,  but again, if some of the basic channels are ones you don't watch, you're still stuck paying for something you don't want.

That's so annoying. Here in the UK there's only like 3 companies that you pay for extra channels but you can choose pretty much exactly what channels you want.

A couple years ago I set up a VPN to act like I was in the US and I managed to watch Season 1 & 2. I remember it asking for cable providers and such and I can't remember how I got around that but I did. Have they tightened it up recently?

If you remember how, please can you let me know! Have you noticed lots of episodes have gone off of YouTube recently as well?

They better not play about like this in August ?

I can't find any of the posts I made about where I watch the show...it's like they disappeared.

This is random, but I don't think anyone in my life really knows how obsessed I am with the DCC. I'm getting married this week and my bridal shower happened on Saturday. My best friend made a quiz for the attendees to fill out to see who knows me best, and no one guessed my favorite TV show correctly. I asked my best friend after how did she get it wrong because I always talk about the team and this forum. She said that she thought I was just a crazy stalker who stalked the team online and didn't think there was an actual show. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be on my honeymoon next week, reading this forum on my down time and talking my husband's ears off about who may be getting cut and whatever else is going on.

My husband knows and thinks it's funny. I even have an Abbey bear. Lol. I talk about it like it's part of my own life. I love it. I'm sad I can't watch right now.

Okay may I begin by, I love the R&B dancers. They oppose DCC so well and give something different. But i seriously HATE that font. It looks like graffiti/ugly tattoo font (nothing against tattoos either)

they could have made it more varsity looking? Does that make sense?

One of my former students made the R&B! So happy/proud of her!!

I don't have the VPN set up anymore to test it out unfortunately! I just can't remember beyond some kind of drop down box on the left hand side, and that there was an awkward way of accessing the videos.

I've never watched on YouTube. Best thing I ever did was set up my US iTunes account, and everything from season 3 onwards is there.

On our way home from vacation, my husband was talking about the DCC and using a strange voice to mimic what he has heard such as look at her kicks or what was she thinking etc!  Our son even bought me an Abby Bear for Christmas!  My college students know I watch it but I don't have any friends to talk with about the show!  Glad I have this forum!

I do too!!! My favorite video is the one where she removes that 20 year old cyst from some woman's scalp!  I sent the link to that to my sister who is a vascular surgeon because I thought she'd think it was as cool as I did.  She replied basically "Please do not send things like that any more; I almost puked when I saw it."  LOL!  Amputate a leg?  No problem.  Watch a cyst being removed?  Barf.

I'm a nurse on a respiratory critical care unit and take care of patients with trachs/ventilators.  I think nothing of having to suction out their trachs.  You would not believe the number of resident physicians who can't stand being in the room when I have to suction the patient.  To me, it's just phlegm.  I actually had a junior resident start gagging when I suctioned a patient with pseudomonas infection.  Now, granted, pseudomonas stinks horribly, but you put on a mask and don't breathe through your nose.  Problem solved.  I looked at the resident and said "how did you get through med school without puking?" when she was gagging. LOL

I danced when I was younger (some of you may recall my post where I described breaking my nose when I hit it with my knee doing a high kick), but it was just Pennsylvania high school drill team stuff; nothing like they do in Texas!

I have a question for some of you serious dancers here.  How technically difficult are the DCC routines?  To me, it seems like Judy has a handful of moves that she uses a lot.  I won't attempt to describe them because I'm not very good at that, but I do notice that I see the same things quite often.  Is that the secret to being able to learn so many routines so quickly?  Having maybe 20 moves or so and just re-arranging them for different songs?

Do y'all mind one more question?  I've seen many pictures of the DCC in Kelli and Judy's days but I've never seen them dancing.  How is the style from that time different than now?  Texie Waterman was still the choreographer, right?

Thank you so much!  I've been wondering this stuff for awhile and I'm happy there are so many knowledgeable and helpful ladies on here!!!

They're not at all technically difficult. It's more about style and placement. Only the show group routines and solos are technically difficult IMO.

I mean the double spins are probably the most "technically difficult" moves in there, i think it's just the sheer speed at which they do these movements.. trained dancers will look fine doing it and you won't think twice, like level changes/the really awkward footwork in Thunderstruck, but less trained dancers will look really awkward/clunky/just not good doing it and will stick out like a sore thumb.

They do use so many of the same movements though! IMO if anything, rehashing the moves to a different song would just muddle me up even more.

If you YouTube DCC followed by the year you want to see there's usually some clips. The choreo seems a lot simpler to me though lol but I've only seen snippets here and there

I don't know if this is where to post this... but what you are describing kind of seems like Mary's perfect 8 counts business, doesn't it?

Where to watch:

www.primewire.ag

Click on "tv shows" at the top of the screen, then enter "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders" in the search bar. The vodlocker, vidbull and vidzi links are typically safe. You'll want ad block on your computer or you'll get a million pop-ups. I don't think there are any active links for the first couple of seasons, but for most of them there are.

Primewire.ag will crash your computer and install viruses. If you want to watch DCC MTT for free, just search for "dcc making the team free tv -cmt" in your web browser search engine.

Select http://watch8now.me/  and search for "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders".

I have used this approach for two years without any problem. New episodes are added about three to four days after they air on CMT (which may be blocked outside the U.S.)..

My results from 3 attempts the last hour:

1) hijacked the computer resulting in a browser crash,

2) hijacked and redirected to Alibaba.com,

3) clicked on several supposed versions of the DCC MTT show and was asked to create an account (which will undoubtedly result in installation of a virus).

Here is the background on Primewire.ag from a Yahoo discussion on Primewire.ag:

"Best Answer:  VODLY.TO IS A TRAP!

Okay, here is the overall timeline.

First there was 1Channel.ch... This site got hacked and eventually was replaced by LetMeWatchThis.ch. Eventually, LetMeWatchThis.ch was hacked too, while 1Channel.ch remained hacked/broken. Around this time, another site, Vodly.to appeared on the net which appeared to mimick both the 1Channel and LetMeWatchThis web sites.

Then, PrimeWire.ag was created and replaced 1Channel and LetMeWatchThis. PrimeWire.ag was the legitimate site, until it too was hacked on August 14, 2013--presumably by the creators of Vodly.to. As a result, whenever you typed in the PrimeWire.ag website or clicked on a bookmarked link, you are always redirected to Vodly.to.

Overall, Vodly.to is the WRONG website--it is a malware web site, and has digital hallmarks of hackers hailing from areas around Russia, Ukraine, and other Eastern Bloc area.

Primewire.ag is still down/hacked/broken/compromised. Redirects to WRONG website Vodly.to.

1Channel.ch is still down/hacked/broken/compromised. Redirects to WRONG website Vodly.to or 1Channel.tv (also the WRONG website)

LetMeWatchThis.ch now works, but is still sketchy. I experimented with LetMeWatchThis.ch. I was able to log in, change passwords, settings, etc. So it appears for now that LetMeWatchThis.ch is working.

But please be aware that ALL sites (1Channel, LetMeWatchThis, and PrimeWire) may be compromised in some fashion or another. Just because you can log in, change settings, watch videos, does not mean that the website is not compromised. Someone can be quietly monitoring the sites to execute a man-in-the-middle attack or "drive by attack" upon you (Google it)."

I trust VERY few VOD sites anymore, regardless of what people say.  Why?  I've gone to VOD sites twice and both times my computer was hijacked by ransomware and it was a hassle. expensive and a pain in the rump to get my computer purged of the stuff.  Both said that the FBI had remotely hacked my computer because of something I allegedly had on my computer and that it would not only be wiped clean in a certain amount of time, but that I would be arrested if I didn't pay them something like $250.  So you can see why I don't trust them and believe me I would LOVE to see some of my favorite shows from overseas that I can't get anywhere BUT random VOD sites.  I'd rather not risk it, thank you very much.

Ah I tried Primewire last year. Half of them were blocked because of European copyright issues and the other half wanted my credit card details. Believe me I've spent so many hours searching and searching lol. I'm going to make a US iTunes account and buy them that way I think.

So much hassle over a goddam cheerleader program? Sort it out CMT ?

ive been so bored having had nothing to discuss this weekend. Only a couple more days thank god!

Tips tips! Give me tips!

Can I use the UK site too? Or do you need to switch permanently?

I'm in Australia. I have an Aus acct & a US account, you just have to use a different email address for each.  You can have items from up to 5 different iTunes accounts on your devices. iBooks is a bit funny about it though and only likes 1 account at a time.

You'll need to buy a iTunes gift card from the US to set up a payment method, (unless you have a US credit card). There are reputable sellers out there, try eBay and pay with PayPal.

You can then set up your account - there are a few ways to do it - in your browser or in your iTunes Store app. Basically you need to make sure you select the country as "US", make up an address, and use the iTunes gift card to set up your payment method - that way you don't need to enter a US credit card.

If you google "US iTunes account" you'll get heaps of step-by-steps. It's super easy. If the UK iTunes store is anything like the Australian store (pathetic and limited), a whole new world will open up for you!

Since these are now available to all, there's no reason for TCC to have "boot shock"; the money spent buying these for on-grass practice would be quite valuable. Heck, those of a similar size could buy one pair and split the cost. Sisterhood of the Traveling Boots ...

Well they're $550, so I personally wouldn't expect every girl who wants to be a DCC to shell out that money to avoid boot shock. With a price tag like that they're not really available to all.
