I'm actually adopted and don't know anything about my back ground and put into the category. It's the same for Cowboys, same for Mavs, same for stars, same for pretty much every team that has a dance team outside of Dallas. So whether there is a math formula or an exact quota or not, I'm sure they keep it in mind when selecting girls and when considering on the "deciding" / "it" factor. IMHO 1 Link to comment

Guest July 12, 2016 Share July 12, 2016 I took dance as a child and quit after 3 or 5 years I don't remember so I couldn't tell you lol I have two friends in the dance world but they teach/dance at a studio that recycles costumes and dance moves year after year so they wouldn't be much of a help for questions I have about the competitive world. It would've been eating disorder city if i'd stuck with dance. My sister is built long and lean and she danced until college. DanceChick July 13, 2016 Share July 13, 2016 I danced competitively for a company and did pom (why does that look like porn? haha) and switched to cheer in high school. I had a full ride academic scholarship in college and decided not to try out for the dance team to focus on school. Could be biracial, Latina, Asian, Middle eastern, Native American, Sicilian, etc. Think Morgan, Mary, Nicole Bulcher, Kim, Simone, Jessica, maybe even Jinelle. My sisters in law and nieces fall into that category. They all have that Sicilian coloring and hair - like Nicole Bulcher - depending on how tan and how they wear their hair, you can't pinpoint an ethnicity or natonality. Link to comment

I went to the boot shop in our town - they carry Lucchese (producer of the white/silver cheerleader boot). I was dying to get a pair of Lucchese, or at least try them on. The boot shop doesn't carry the white boots but they told me they could get them if I really wanted them (I don't, hehe). I tried on a very similar, almost identical pair in black. I will tell you they do run small and narrow in the shaft of the boot, but I was able to get them on and point my toes! Anyhow, even further to the point of how tiny the girls must be in real life, most of them have room around their leg in the shaft of the boot, and me with a regular leg could barely get the boot all the way up. I wound up going with another brand that was more comfortable, but it was SO fun to try them on ;) 2 Link to comment

It's delish but the only thing I haven't figured out yet is how to get the frosting on the cookies to cool and harden. It profiled a lot of the girls including a couple of the co-captains and another one who was a flyer but she was young and unreliable and fell a lot during stunts. I felt bad for her. :( I even used to post on TWOP on the thread about that show way back in the day.
