Season 18 Live Feed Discussion: Their Lives are Almost as Boring as Ours!

Hysterical!  Victor is very funny.  This morning he did a wildlife show for the feedsters.  In a British accent, talking softly like he was in the wild and did not want to disturb the animals as he observed them.  An example. Oh there is the one they call Paul in the watering hole with his enemy (James) and tense.  He bites his nails when he is uncomfortable.  He can be very loud when agitated but he is remaining calm.  He went through everyone and it was hysterical.  Outside of the UK bedroom he talked about the Meech.  It sleeps 17 hours a day..... Oh, there is the tall one....and on an on.   I cannot do it justice.  He nailed all of their personalities.

So funny!!

This is just a small part of it.  It went on for a long time before he got to this point. Humor is my heart hook.  He is hysterical, more so than Paul and I like his humor as well.

I guess we're all starting to check out of the season, or at least this week? Totally am doing the same. Anyway, some highlights from Twitter:

Mmmhmm. Yeah, ok Nicole. Besides the fact that you're targeting James/Natalie/Michelle and are planning to blindside because you know this is going against them, you TOTALLY didn't do anything wrong. Not a thing.

Corey also hopes that James/Nat will target Vic/Paul. Corey is also complaining about how James just hangs around one person (Natalie) the whole time. At least he also acknowledges that he does the same exact thing. Nicole also doesn't think that she puts crap into people's heads like Michelle.

Corey- He (James) doesnt go out of his way to hang out with anybody. Nicole- I dont either though. Maybe it's a vet thing

Shut up Nicole! It's a "I'm a horrible social player. " There are moments where Corey is fucking spot on in the game. James downfall is his horrible jury management and horrendous gameplay in general.

The after parties and post BB social media is what I look forward to the most. That's where all the juicy drama come out.

Talking friendships post BB: I truly think the ones sticking are Paul/Victor, Da'vonne/Z ( maybe add Bridgette to that group since they have become extremely close & bonded in jury), and probably Paulie/Paul. Nicole/Corey and James/Nat have disaster written over it.

At least 4/6 people involved in the showmances have realistic expectations leaving the show. Paulie/Z are doing a wait and see approach ( not planning anything, though they have an added advantage in talking it out in jury), Natalie may have feelings for James, but I can see her using him for game ( I have no problem with that. It got her to final 7 right now). Corey/Nicole are icky version of Drew/Diane, but unlike Nicole, I had a lot of sympathy for Diane. She deserved to win that season ( her and Nakomis should have been the final 2), but she got blindsided.

I can see Meech kind of ending up like a less crazy BB11 Michelle, sadly. Her family drama, her eclectic behavior, plus her reading the comments posted about her= breakdown. As much as she annoys me, I hope she gets some help and works her family shit out. No one shows have to deal with that shit.

I love the revisionist history in this post.  Everyone knows that Cowboy was running that season and totally deserved to win.  Ducks head while angry villagers with pitchforks comes after him.

On a more serious note, I do think you are right about Meech ending up like Michelle from season eleven.  Though I doubt Meech would end up doing porn.

Link to comment

Yeah sans the porn, either Michelle disappears from social media for a bit, or just goes more full blown Michelle. She's going to be the one that goes back, watches the feeds, and looks at all the message birds, Twitter/Reddit comments about her.

James really thinks he is hot shit: talking about all the opportunities and shit he got from BB.

I truly can't wait for the aftermath of the season, social media ( Twitter/Instagram will be lit) Good for us, is that if the winner turns out shitty, BB19 is like right around the corner.

What job does James have? What did he do after the first BB? Will he be doing that again? It seems like he is banking on making as much as he can from BB and not have to work. Of course, he's also banking on AFP. I don't know who is getting it this year but I don't think it will be him.

I have been all over the place in my opinions of the HGs; it goes week to week for me.   I like Paul for the win too  (this week), and can easily overlook his flaws because his game play is pretty solid.  Others cannot.  I don't care that Victor has been eliminated twice, many do.

My opinions of the HGs also changes week to week. That being said, I agree - Paul has played a great game overall. I didn't like him at first, but now I can see he is very intelligent and I think when he finds "the one" he will mellow out - at least with so much of the "bro" stuff. And I've only heard people say negative things in regard to Victor being voted out twice. As ignorant as the bead thing was (which I think Paulie put him up to that) my opinion is that if the other HGs want you out that bad - that they've voted you out twice because you're a competition monster - that means you are a very strong player. And to battle back not once, but TWICE - I think that is pretty indicative of a strong player.

With all that considered, I still love Natalie & James. But as much as I like James, I don't think he has done anything at all worthy of being the final winner. Natalie did do some house/alliance flipping so  I would be okay with a win by Natalie, Victor or Paul.

I would just despise seeing Nicole, Michelle or absolute worst - Corey winning. UGH

I think James' ideas about getting something out of the post-show fame are a lot smaller then others.  I get the sense that he would think being a featured guest at a local bar's karaoke night would be a great benefit.

Corey's my number one to not win. With everyone else, there's at least not blind-inducing rage if they win. I don't even want Corey in F2, so if there's a way to prevent that, then I'd be mostly content. Yes, even with Nicole, even though I dislike her a lot.

James is about as interesting as a box of rocks.

Ya know......?  I kinda like rocks.  Rocks can be very interesting, depending on from whence they came.  Some rocks come from far, far away, sailing through space and bringing tales of millions of years past.  Some come from the center of our planet Earth as brilliant flowing lava, becoming sleek and black, or porous, pitted and floaty.  Crystals and gems are pretty (Corey?) and make nice jewelry to wear. Some rocks even made nice pets, at least for a while. Carefully positioned rocks can add panache to any yard. Thrown with accuracy, rocks can leave nicely colored bruises.  So let's be careful who/what we slander here.  I didn't comment when snakes were so freely maligned because that came from the HGs.  But rocks????  I draw a line in the sand (very small rocks). This far, and no further. Lay off the rocks, people!

Yes on Thursday, they don't know that yet.  I think she means their lack of communication and HOH visits.  She may be thinking someone talked badly about her to James or told him about Michele going.   We are all baffled by the same thing, but don't have to wonder why.  There is NO logical reason!

It seems so anticlimactic that Meech is going out so quietly. Where are the meltdowns and calling outs and house flippings?! Maybe she'll go off after James (finally) talks to Nicole and it becomes official? Are they planning to blindside her? She's actually kind of grown on me and I appreciate how she's crazy in an entertaining way, though the crazy also has a dark side. I just watched her soliloquy of self-loathing (8/26 ~1:25A) and it was sad. Hopefully she was just being dramatic/having a moment.

The plan is to tell James that Meech is going a couple of hours before the show.  We usually have Jeff then.  If we cannot get a blindside I sure hope they tell him when the feeds are on.

He really does love the meet and greets.  Every time he talks about them he gets really excited.  He said at first he didn't want to charge money for them because he just loved meeting the people but in the end was convinced that it's not a bad thing to make money from it - especially when the place they hold it at is getting some major advertising.  So I think the company that hosts the meet and greets pays him - the fans do not.

Natalie James, Paul and Corey were talking yesterday how it's been the quietest week in the house with the two loudest people on the block. Paul said he's not going to campaign against Michelle (probably cause he knows he's staying)

That's one of the biggest clues J/N/M should have that something's up. On what planet would Paul be totally chill with going home, hanging out laughing and talking with the people who were putting him out?

The funny thing is they don't see that.  James is convinced Paul is going and acting calm because he was told Meech is the target.  He "knows" Paul is going and calms Meech's paranoia.  Natalie believes him.  This would be an epic blind side but Nicole will not let that happen, unfortunately.

Also, Victor is sounding so much like Paul - he's got the "never cared" and the speech patterns down now.

I think Victor is someone who becomes whomever they're closest to at any given time. He was a dick with Jozea/Paul, very misogynistic when he was Paulie's puppet, and now that Paul's taken to being the funny guy Victor has in turn become the funny guy.

I have been watching the feeds during this dull time in the morning.  Victor is very bright and witty.  He talks to himself/feeders when he is alone sometimes.  He takes the pulse of the entire house regularly.  :^)   I appreciate his upbeat attitude.  You never see him angry or moody.  Everyone likes him and gravitates to him for conversation.  He is a solid guy.

ETA.  He does not get a lot of attention on twitter because he rarely talks game so nothing much to quote and his wit shines in context so it misses the short format.

i honestly see James/Nat being the next two out. I think the next batch of comps will be mental, and I definitely believe James/Nat will struggle. In my eyes, this game is for Paul's too lose. He's got the social, awesome jury management skills, and can win comps. If he can get past these next 2 weeks, he's got it.

Natalie even said that if Meech leaves, she knows Paul is after them, but she would still put Nicorey up.

So, will BB do anything about Michelle apparently taking/stealing the other HG's shit and keeping it for herself?

There are reports saying Meech has been taking shit and using it to sell on eBay. There is no concrete proof and it could just be smoke, but Tiffany tweeted about Michelle having her shirt without her knowledge, James found the jacket he got from Meg last year in Michelle's bag and he had no idea how she got it.

She also homily talked about selling HG stuff on eBay to Natalie. I hope this is all bullshit, but looking at Michelle and how big a super fan she claims to be, I would not be shocked if a little bit of it is true. Sad thing is, her and Nat are blaming Z for the missing shit.

Actually, I'd interpret that as meaning you're a very strong physical player, with minimal social game.  Although Victor's social game has improved since the start of the season.  Guess he learned something from each eviction; get evicted enough times, and that knowledge should accumulate to something significant.  Kinda like Groundhog Day.   :)

IMHO a stronger player would be one who didn't keep getting his ass kicked out of the House repeatedly, and having to depend upon Production gimmicks to re-enter the game - but hey, maybe that's just me.  ;>

Yeah, I can't see Vic as a strong player. At all. He's definitely good at physical comps, but to me that's a very small part of being a "strong player" (as evidenced by his two evictions). In his second and third go-rounds he's 100% tied his game up in Paul, someone he should know he can't beat in F2. He literally just does whatever Paul tells him. He hasn't even been clever about disguising the fact that Paul is his "Ride or Die." I think he's the worst player left in terms of having any kind of strategy, even worse than Corey and James. Corey hasn't done shit the whole game (he hasn't really needed to), but he does think about strategy a little and he wants to go to the end with someone he could possibly beat. James is very lazy and a dumb ass, but he does put some thought into strategy. As annoying as the constant comp throwing is, it is a strategy and the Prison Bitch Strategy is a fairly good way to make it to jury, which is all he really cares about. Vic's "strategy" is "bro up with guy(s) I can't beat, do whatever they say, and win as many comps as possible (to advance their games)."

2 minutes ago, CheetaraThunder said:

Honestly, it all comes down to what the jurors appreciates more. If Vic is against Paul, he loses, but anyone else, he wins.

I think the twice evicted thing will be a problem if Vic makes F2. If he had played this same game, but made it to F2 without being evicted I would agree that he'd beat almost everyone, but I think some of the others could beat him because of that.

This is from a while ago when Nicole thought Natalie was secretly in love with Corey, but it made me laugh even if it's not as relevant.

Screen Shot 2016-08-31 at 11.24.35 AM.png

What is with these two? Do they not remember Michelle staying over Z or the reason Paulie's game got blown up? Is it because Nicole's chosen cuddle shield is more attractive than Natalie's cuddle shield? Or Corey's athleticism giving him a false sense of superiority? Does Nicole think a "good game" requires only working with men?

The biggest difference is that Natalie's HOH was screwed up by BattleBack and Nicole's HOH will stick.

I almost don't want Natalie to get to F2 because I don't want her getting the "Liz treatment" by Jurors and Fans.

Victor was evicted twice by Paulie, that is different than a consensus.  ;^)   If V and P are F2, they both did something to get there.  Neither is a goat.  That will come down who do you like better, I think.  My guess is Paulie for Paul and Michele for Victor.  Beyond that I don't remember enough of their games to guess.

Then I ask myself, would either chose to be there together?

I'm pretty certain it will be a problem.  The other 4 Jurors currently in the JH had exactly ONE chance to return, and every subsequent Juror won't have had that much - all of them will be a one-and-done.

I understand Victor's excitement over making his mark in BB history as the first HG ever to come back after two evictions.  By the same token, however, Victor has gotten more Production-sponsored passes for poor gameplay than any other HG in BB history.  And repeatedly celebrating Production's largesse in front of the other HGs - all but one of which will be in the Jury should Vic make it to F2 - is a spectacular display of bad Jury management.

Eh. I think it's a combination of Victor being good at challenges and the majority of his opponents being pretty horrible or not even trying. I'm grateful Paulie manhandled Julie Chen and was taking a lot more water spray than Vic in the wall challenge. Not that those are necessarily related.

I agree with you about Day/Z/Bridgette I think they will vote for the best game they believe that was played. Michelle will totally vote bitterly, she has ZERO self awareness, and that is clearly evident this week by the fact that in her "lets be friends" talk with Paul that she was blaming him for telling Nicole she was after her when DUH you screamed it several times and called her a snake on National TV. I disagree about Nicole, she's already been a Jury member once, she knows this is a game she knew Derrick screwed her and she still voted for him because he played the best game.

I think Michelle will calm down once she's in jury and has some time to decompress from the pressure of the game and she'll end up voting as a superfan, whatever that means to her. At the end of the day, she's crazy. She has emotional outbursts and attacks people, but underneath it all she's looking for attention and validation. Once she sees that other HGs don't really hate her and she's having fun with everyone in jury house I don't think she'll be bitter.

Yeah Day/Z/Bridge knows it's a game, they are loving life in the juror house.

I do think jury is best for Michelle. She'll have to not worry about anything and just have fun with the girls. But, she is the emotional wildcard and depending on who is in the final 2, might determine her behavior.

In the end, this might be the cast where they actually become friends outside the house. Even though they fucking hated one another in the game.

i do hope we get a jury segment this Thursday, just for more entertaining awesomeness. It's honestly the best part of the show and the feeds.

I doubt we'll get a jury segment - there's "nothing" to show, meaning no one new showing up, no new information for the jury members.  Which is a shame, I could spend half the episode watching Day/Zak/Bridge shame Paulie.

Paulie might die if another woman shows up at jury. Of course, enough time has passed so maybe he's calmed down a bit. Hopefully, the feeds won't get cut before the reveal to James. I want to see his dumbfounded look on his face. What??????

After watching last Sunday's episode, and how he kind of recognize his behavior, I think what Day/Z/Bridge did to him, mellowed and humbled his ass. It also seemed like Day/Z/B/Paulie got over that drama and are friendly.

Another thing about jury, Robyn Kass gave a little tiny tidbits about the show: She basically talked about how to get cast, that Paul was a great recruit ( Vic was not a recruit), and she revealed that Zakiyah is an insanely amazing painter, has been painting in jury, and really wants her to paint something for her. So it's nice to hear the jurors can get a stress free life out the game, clear their heads.

In that respect, I think Michelle would personally benefit from as early an entry into the JH as possible.  I suspect a lot of the MiCrazy is due to an immature personality (which already had some King Kong-sized issues prior to the Game) being unable to cope with the oppressive weight of 24/7 surveillance, and the prospect of facing the resultant microdissection of every comment and nuance which a (quasi-)super fan would know takes place out in the world.  A few weeks in the JH to decompress and commiserate with other HGs would probably be the best thing for Michelle; lacking that, probably every bit of Michelle's stipend and JH money will end up going to therapy bills.

I think the twice evicted thing will be a problem if Vic makes F2. If he had played this same game, but made it to F2 without being evicted I would agree that he'd beat almost everyone, but I think some of the others could beat him because of that.

I think we're over-estimating how much the jury will weigh that against Vic.  I think he could win if he is in F2 against Paul because he's been so strong in comps and he is so likeable.  I agree that it SHOULD weigh heavily against him winning, but I don't have much faith that this jury in particular will see it that way.

I think he's [Victor] the worst player left in terms of having any kind of strategy, even worse than Corey and James.

I almost don't want Natalie to get to F2 because I don't want her getting the "Liz treatment" by Jurors and Fans.

This. I can't bear to listen to people (in the game and outside of it) bitch about how Natalie did nothing. So boring.

Which is a shame, I could spend half the episode watching Day/Zak/Bridge shame Paulie.

imo every episode from now until the finale should just be those three tearing into Paulie. If they don't have any new footage just air what they already showed again.

I think I agree. I'm not entirely sure. I could see it going either way tbh. Victor/Paul might actually be the most interesting F2 because I don't think it'd be a foregone conclusion who would win like it would be in a lot of the other scenarios.
