Lulu collapsed right after whispering to Dante that she loved him. But with this show? They’ll retcon it out of existence. 2 Link to comment

Not coma to awake obviously, but many people with failing livers have hepatic encephalopathy - basically brain injury from the toxins in the blood that can't be filtered by the damaged liver. My dad had his transplant and was a completely different person in 36 hours. It was insane. 10 1 Link to comment
methodwriter85 November 14 Share November 14 It would be cool if Lulu sees the teen Rocco and realizes how much time she actually lost. 2 1 Link to comment

Maybe she would have regained consciousness sooner if they had caught the liver disease? Not that most of this makes any sense but my poor brain keeps trying. 1 Link to comment
jsbt Monday at 07:48 PM Share Monday at 07:48 PM As long as she finally wakes up and we get some good stuff with her, Genie and Finn Carr (Rocco) I don't care. That kid has been killing it while I'm about to suffer through the Ultimate Showdown between Grinning Spherical-Headed First Child (Danny) and Doctor Regrettable Emotions Playlist (Van Hansis). 6 1 Link to comment
Auntie Velvet 13 hours ago Share 13 hours ago I'm watching the new Netflix/ Ted Danson series "A Man on the Inside" and Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix) is in at least one episode. I had to wait until the credits to place him because the character is fairly chill, LOL. 1 Link to comment
dubbel zout 11 hours ago Share 11 hours ago I was coming here to post the same thing. MAS also has some facial hair, which changes his appearance enough from Felix's that I had to stop and think why he looked so familiar. 1 Link to comment
lala2 8 hours ago Share 8 hours ago According to his IG, Chad is leaving GH! He says now is the time. 3 3 Link to comment
jsbt 8 hours ago Share 8 hours ago Here's the link. Bye! He should've been recast years ago, Chad has been on autopilot for close to a decade. 3 2 4 1 2 Link to comment
dubbel zout 7 hours ago Share 7 hours ago (edited) Our long national nightmare is over. (Or at least one of them is.) Hopefully the character is reimagined somewhat with a recast, because CD's Michael is unbearable. Edited 7 hours ago by dubbel zout 6 4 Link to comment
PatsyandEddie 7 hours ago Share 7 hours ago (edited) Not gonna lie, the photo of CD on the beach with his son beside him is adorable! Carry on! 😂 Edited 6 hours ago by PatsyandEddie Autocorrect is WRONG again 1 1 Link to comment
Desperado 7 hours ago Share 7 hours ago It would make sense to have his character exit w/ Sophia Mattson if the pregnancy rumors are true, and then they come back with a recast, or not at all. 2 Link to comment
Grinaldi 7 hours ago Share 7 hours ago Woo Hoo. Michael should be a lynch pin character so I hope they recast. But Duell has been a heat sink for a long time. I wish him well but this is good news. 6 Link to comment
absnow54 6 hours ago Share 6 hours ago (edited) Maybe Michael will blackmail Drew into stepping down from congress and will get appointed to his seat. I wonder who they’ll try to get to fill the role, since he’s a pretty central character. Any late 30’s leading men seem bored? Maybe they can lure Scott Clifton back to play a different Quartermaine. YaddaYadda 6 hours ago Share 6 hours ago I hate Michael and I think that CD's acting has been on the decline for years. I'm not sorry or sad to see him go. As far as the character goes, it's not like they can't ask Robert Adamson to take over the role. 2 Link to comment
DanaK 5 hours ago Share 5 hours ago SOD’s article about though I don’t think they added anything new https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/casting-shocker-chad-duell-quits-his-role-as-michael-corinthos-on-general-hospital/ 1 Link to comment
Artsda 5 hours ago Share 5 hours ago (edited) Hopefully we get a good recast. They need to go get Thomas from Bold. Edited 5 hours ago by Artsda 1 Link to comment

Yeah I was thinking the same, but I’d also like to see him recast with someone who is more of a leading man. As we’ve discussed here before, the 30 something set should be leading the show into whatever future it has, and like it or not, Michael is at the forefront of that group. The character needs more gravitas. 3 1 1 Link to comment
JMO 5 hours ago Share 5 hours ago Not particularly a fan of the character, and I don't have feelings one way or another about CD's work. But I have felt for CD having to play what is essentially the same story, over and over. Can't imagine that does much to assuage an actor's thirst for creativity. Maybe a more talented one could have made each story feel different, but I primarily fault the writers, who couldn't seem to avoid a stereotype when one was available, and who shied away from sustaining any real strife for the character. If Michael is going off canvas for a while, I hope it's because his coverup regarding Jagger's murder is discovered. Link to comment
StaceyNotStacie 5 hours ago Share 5 hours ago As long as the recast isn’t another Kristina/KM debacle, I’m willing to accept a new Michael, hopefully one with a bit more maturity and on screen presence. With his ties to three major families and being the son of two of the main characters, you’d think that many out of work soap and prime time actors would want the opportunity to play this character. jsbt 2 hours ago Share 2 hours ago Allegedly it is as I suspected, the result of the standard FV take it or leave it paycut deal he's very often pulled at GH or OLTL, but that's just the rumor mill. Frank is now on Twitter lamenting Chad's exit 'in the new year' and saying they will not recast which, ugh. Why recast a vital younger character who is central to a core family when you can hold the role for somnambulant Chad when he's ready to return for a buck fifty? Idiotic. 2 1 Link to comment
Sake614 2 hours ago Share 2 hours ago CD is hardly in a position to refuse a pay cut. It’s not like he’s in high demand elsewhere or he’d have left long ago. It’s ridiculous to not recast but anything that gets him off my screen is okay with me. Are they just going to send him, Willow and family off into the sunset to start a new life together? There’s no way Michael leaves his kids behind while Willow and Drew play hide the salami, and Willow serves absolutely no purpose without Michael. Yeah she’s Nina’s daughter but we all know she’ll turn her back on Nina when she learns mommy has been sleeping with Drew. I suppose one benefit of them all leaving is it frees up the gate house for Jason and Danny. Or for Dante,Lulu and Rocco. 1 Link to comment
