I can't see Frank throwing RoHo over for SB, not given how easily he let SB go and how hard he's hammered Franco into the show.

They've already cut/lost a lot of people though. TeCa, TCh, Richard Burgi, BC, and rumors are strong JE is retiring. 

And RoHo said at some PA recently that he flies back and forth to NY. So I'm guessing he probably doesn't make as much in exchange for being able to commute.

I do wonder, if SBu were willing to come back, if MSt would be as safe as all that. FV just scooped her up in retaliation most likely, she wasn't a friend of Frank before being on GH unlike RoHo/Budig, and her character is not a hit, to put it kindly.

 Plus, I'm pretty sure most of the non-RoHoFanFirst 'Friz fans' would abandon that couple in a heartbeat for a chance at either Jasus

True, but even he gives up sometimes, like when he fired ME. I know, I know, he re-hired him a month later, but he still fired him, and that was ME. If he was willing to do it to ME, I think he'd be willing to do it to MSt, if a big enough fish came along.

Instead of just playing similar scenes over and over, he could play the exact same scenes over and over! Of course he'd have trouble with the whole "projecting to the audience" thing . .

And I stand by my Tale of Two Jasons theory.  Except that now Jelly will write it and it will be weird and not make sense.  Like, it could either last a year, a day, a week, a month, or a monthday.  I'd take Ron back just for that story, well the build up as a writer only because he can write great build up.   There'd be little hints and clues that BM isn't actually Jason and that AJ didn't die, but there'd be guilt and shame placed on Sonny/Ava/Carly for AJ's murder and Michael for forgiving Sonny/Carly so easily.  This whole "justice for Sabrina" stuff would definitely intertwine with AJ.  Tracy would mention AJ suddenly.  "Jason" would have memories of AJ, while namedropping him to see how people react.  Wells Enterprises would be more significant.  Then boom, we'd know why Sam and Jason had to be divorced and remarried.

I despise Franco, but this is the soap that has made mobsters heroes - and had a prior rapist have the show's biggest romance ever. Thus the show is tone deaf and generally down in the muck for all eternity.

It would definitely take someone with some brass balls to truly change the trajectory of this show. Unfortunately it's obvious GH is just a placeholder for ABCD so they don't give a flying fuck about trying to salvage the show and possibly reinventing it. I mean, there are no teens with stories, there are what? 3 early to mid twenty somethings, 4 mid to late twenty somethings, and the overabundance of middle aged folks act like 12 year olds. Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad that age group has story, but there are too damn many of them and there are no clear next generation stories/characters to start focusing on to appeal to new viewers in any way. We've got lots of nighttime soaps that are telling much better stories with the over 30 crowd, I miss generational storytelling on my soaps.

It's weird though. I looked at the hashtag Brydog referenced and it was used for a Helen Hunt movie from last year, and when I checked it out on IMDB, no Brydog in the credits. So is this a new movie called Ride? A TV show? I'm confused....
