When will Ron's stuff stop airing and when does the new material air? Anyone know the exact day? I feel like they should air a promo like, "Tune in Oct. X because Ron's shit is ovah!" I know in the past some soaps, including GH, sometimes have a brief interim period with said show's scriptwriters basically serving as acting HWs until the official transition is made. I get that, but I think that's why they need to go ahead & take that L financially & film some new stuff. Being cheap is only gonna keep the ratings slide going. They need to be filming and running promos that the Jakeson reveal is coming in September. I have very little doubt that if they wait much longer Days will surpass them & there will be no going back, at all. Good grief, what the fuck is wrong with Frank and why isn't he seeing this? IWantCandy71 August 21, 2015 Share August 21, 2015 I want Tracy, Alan, Monica, AJ, Jason, Emily, Ned, Dillon, Brooklynn, Skye, Justus, Maya, Alice, Lila Rae, Danny, Michael, and Alice all gathered in the living room waiting for their Thanksgiving pizza to be delivered, watching tv. A news brief breaks in about convicted felon Sonny Corinthos being denied early release by the State Parole Board and that Sonny was serving a life sentence. Somehow it'd be communicated that everything since Jason hit his head on that rock was a coma nightmare. Michael, etc were incorporated into this nightmare but twisted as people sat by Jason's bedside and told him what was going on. The very last scene would be the doorbell bringing and Robin, Patrick, Emma, Anna, Robert, Mac, Felicia, Georgie, and Maxie arriving for dinner. BWAH ! Add in a scene with Sonny running through the woods, hair sticking up, all crazy eyed. We cut to a shot of a guard holding back some blood hounds. The camera pans up to the face of the guard: it's Taggart ! He smiles as he lets the dogs loose. End scene. In all seriousness- I expect DOOL to end before GH. Several reasons: they ARE last in the ratings, if only by a margin. They have been in trouble longer than GH. And I think overall, that NBC's mid day non soap programming fares better in the ratings than ABC's. Not sure, though. Anyway, yeah I think Days will go first. Since GH and Days are on at the same time in many markets now, I expect that to mean a bump for GH after Days goes, though I don't know if it'll be enough of a bump, and in time, to save it. TPTB at GH better step it up, though. Because of Days having their anniversary soon, and the stunts they have planned for it, Days could surpass GH in the ratings if the new writers don't bring it. I expect the bump to be only temporary, because gimmicks and stunts only get you so far. But still....I hope the new writers have something up their sleeves that's gonna draw people in.
